Amazing remote location camping in the mountains with fantastic views. If you like nature and simple living you should stay here! The tent accomodation is really cosy and you may even share your bathroom with a few small frogs! The outdoor shower has a great view. Amila and team looked after us really well, Amila is very friendly and kind, a great guy to talk to. The food the chef made was amazing ( even if there was so much we couldn't eat it all!), especially as we were so far in the mountains and everything has to be brought in. Shermal organised us a guide to trek up Knuckles Peak 1 and 2 with wonderful views from the top. The guide was excellent with a huge knowledge of plants, animals and birds. It can be cold and wet so we needed warm clothes and rain gear one day, but the fire in the dining area is lovely in the evening to keep warm by. We loved our stay here although it is hard to find..luckily our driver communicated on the phone with Amila to get directions along the way.

This room is very unique. All these windows provide a really funny experience and a great view. There was a misunderstanding : reading Airbnb we thought the breakfast was included but it was not. It was really good though. The building is really well situated. I recommend this place.

We are so very pleased with our stay at the Sweet Cinnamon! We were two families and both the children and us adults where very satisfied with the service and food. We celebrated christmas here and it will be moment we will remember with joy for a long time. We give our warmest recommandations to stay here if you visit Kandy!

Heerlijk verblijf in de natuur. 25 minuten van Kandy, dus dichtbij de stad, maar wel lekker middenin de rust. Een aanrader!

Comfortable room with air conditioning, fan, pillows and blankets. Hot shower in a large bathroom. A welcome drink was provided on arrival as well as a water in our room. All the staff were very friendly even when there were language barriers. Staff were always willing to help and answer questions going above and beyond to make our stay pleasant.

Please book through Booking .com We had an amazing stay here and the staff are very friendly and helpful! The food was also amazing! But when we arrived they had no information about our booking. They only take reservations through Booking. com. Luckily they had a room available for us and we were able to spend the night in this amazing place! Definitely recommend staying here, but don’t book through Airbnb!

Die Unterkunft ist schlicht, aber es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Zimmer sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet; der Essbereich ist draußen auf Stelzen mit Blick über die Dächer. Alles sehr hübsch und naturnah, wie in einer kleinen Oase. Abendessen und Frühstück waren auch sehr lecker. Der Host Gayashan ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend, nochmals vielen lieben Dank für alles!

Unser Aufenthalt in Kandy war sehr schön. Die Unterkunft entsprach dem Inserat und ist sehr modern. Wir waren besonders begeistert von Gobie Seenu. Ein super freundlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Gobie ist sehr zuvorkommend und rücksichtsvoll. Er hat sich stets erkundigt, wie es uns geht und wie er uns noch weiter helfen kann. Er hat uns super Tipps für die Stadt gegeben und hat uns direkt einen Reiseführer/Tuktuk Fahrer für den kommenden Tag empfohlen (super Tipp - wir hatten einen wunderbaren Tag mit Chaminda). Wir können einen Aufenthalt bei Gobie wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Chathura and his wife were one of the most sweetest folks we came across our srilanka trip, it was great to have a morning breakfast conversation with them, exchanging valuable inputs regarding our trip, breakfast was spot on, vibes altogether were homely, and both of them are sincerely dedicated towards their job and services, would have liked to spend more time their but unfortunately we had our further commitments, would undoubtedly recommend them if you wish to have a homely stay at Kandy. We had a fantastic stay in Kandy and that was largely down to our fantastic host Shenani. We were greeted with tea at check in and with only one night in Kandy, Shenani really helped us plan and organize a varied agenda with transport, she also helped us work out when best to have their tasty breakfast as well as transport to our train the next morning. The room was comfortable and as described and the views were breathtaking!
