It’s hard to accurately describe how wonderful Jill’s place is and what a perfect host she is. It’s a gem. Anyone who has the opportunity to rent it, should right away. The place is beautiful, and she’s thought of every detail — large and small. She checks in to make sure you have everything you need — but she respects your privacy at all times. The view and garden are even more beautiful than the photos show. It’s away from the hustle and bustle but just a 10 minute drive to great restaurants. There is a market and cafe walking distance down the hill. If I ever find myself in this part of the world again, I hope to be lucky enough to stay at Jill’s guest suite again. Wish I could give more than five stars.

Caroline's studio is the best place I have stayed at in Dunedin. It's exactly as described, has all the comforts and amenities you would need, and the bed is soooooooo comfortable! It's quiet and private, well separated from the rest of the house. The little terrace is lovely to sit at to enjoy breakfast and the kitchenette has everything needed to prepare basic meals. This really is fantastic value for money, with the added bonus of a luxurious spa pool. The location is great, in a quiet neighborhood just a short drive from the city center, St Clair, and the peninsula. You won't find anywhere better in Dunedin, take it from someone who visits regularly!

Best Airbnb either of us have ever stayed in, in our extensive travels. We are still in disbelief of this home. If you have the chance to stay, do it. We had hesitated to book because there’s so much to do along the South Island, but now we know that this home is worth making the special visit. We will not be forgetting the serenity and beauty of Fallow Ridge: the uninterrupted panoramic view of sheep-dotted mountainside, the warm bath overlooking the sunset, the beautiful fog rolling in and out around the house. We walked along the road and down to the river and never actually went back down into town in our two nights because the property was just too awesome to leave; we recommend you arrive with some groceries as we did, in case you feel the same! The thoughtful details from our hosts made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were glad to meet David out on a walk and we regret to have not met Sarah, who we wish to also sincerely thank for such a lovely stay!

Wow, what a serene beautiful spot. Private and peaceful. Stunning views and the beach at the end of the driveway. The bath was amazing and they had extras like robes. The kitchen was perfect for our stay and it was pristine. They had some lovely things left for us and a great coffee machine. Would go back in a heartbeat! 💓

Beautiful beach house, modern and bright with lovely views over the bay. We loved sitting by the picture windows watching the diverse array of birds. Everything we needed was provided & of a good standard.

A lovely short break in a very special place. Kerry's a fabulous host, we appreciated the thoughtful touches of flavoursome fresh eggs from the resident chickens, the home made bread and delicious whole fruit jam from the kitchen at Augustines in Portobello. Kerry's artistic touches make this a unique spot to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. We also enjoyed walking to the local Macandrew Bay shops, and a tasty lunch at The Duck Cafe.

This house is in a perfect location, offering breathtaking views of the bay. Waking up to stunning sunrises and relaxing with beautiful sunsets made our stay truly special. The interior is fully equipped, spacious, bright, and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Whether for a short getaway or a longer stay, this place has everything one could need. My guests and I were extremely satisfied with our experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality stay!
