Lovely peaceful place clean and amenities were great.BUDDY WAS such a lovely dog. We really enjoyed being in a peaceful county place with such comfy beds and restful views fab place to stay and not far out of town. loved it.

Just Gorgeous *Greta's Cottage*

We had a lovely stay at “Greta’s Cottage.” Check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. The cottage was clean, spacious, had everything we needed, warm and cozy. Private and quiet, but very close to town. Would definitely stay again. Thank you again!

A lovely comfortable cottage in a quiet, peaceful location. Tasteful decor and quality linen. Easily heated by heat pump; we had no need for the log burner in March. Fabulous communication prior to our stay and easy check in. Walking distance to the I site and galleries, shops, historical information boards. Thank you so much!

The Villa

WE stayed one night at the Villa. This is a full house with full kitchen and three bedrooms - we only stayed in one bedroom. The bed was comfortable, it was quiet and nice and dark and we slept very well. The water was very hot and plentiful. Breakfast basics were provided and much appreciated. The house is convenient to downtown Oamaru. We highly recommend the Villa and will stay there again when in Oamaru.

We had a fantastic night here. Place was lovely and we enjoyed getting to meet the cows. Jenny was a wonderful host. Would absolutely stay again next time we're passing through Oamaru.

I had a lovely stay in this cosy and comfortable cottage. Kathrin is a wonderful host who goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed. The cottage is in a lovely quiet location and has everything you need to ensure a comfortable stay.

Birdsong Cottage

We enjoyed the peaceful setting of Birdsong Cottage and loved our walks in the ecosanctuary next door. The history of this home is truly remarkable, and we appreciated having the historical context to deepen the experience. The kitchen was large and well-stocked, with a good-sized table for bigger gatherings. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and enjoying the gorgeous view over a glass of sparkling wine. Thank you, Rose, for your hospitality and for your stewardship of the beautiful ecosanctuary next door!

Thanks for hosting us, we enjoyed our stay. Lovely sea views and a short walk to the portside. Great pubs and farmers market on Sunday. The house was clean and tidy. We would recommend to other families wanting a nice place to stay close to the action.

Uninterrupted ocean views - private beach access

This is the third time we’ve stayed at Paul’s Place, and hopefully not the last! Such a comfortable, easy and peaceful place to stay. We love the private beach access, the highly functional kitchen with everything you need, the amazing views, and how warm and cosy it is. Thanks again for a very lovely stay.

Perfect location, with easy access to both Oamaru and the beach. Beautiful scenery, the house was just as described. The bed was comfortable and the shower and water pressure was great. The kitchen had everything we needed. I would highly recommend it...

Boutique Getaway in the Peaceful Countryside

Absolutely stunning farmhouse and surroundings. The pictures don't do it justice, it's even prettier in person. Everything was spotless, and there was even a book about the history of the farmhouse and area which was a really interesting read! Highly recommend opting for the breakfast - the homemade bread was delicious, as was everything else. We brought Christmas marshmallows with us and roasting those at the fireplace with our children on Christmas Eve was a a wonderful family memory. Hosts were wonderful with communication and instructions. Highly recommend this place, really hope to come back and stay again some day!
