Ich war für fast einen ganzen Monat in Rashil’s Wohnung und habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Rashil und Kiwako sind unglaublich herzliche Gastgeber. Egal ob man Tipps für die Umgebung braucht oder gemeinsam kochen möchte. Danke euch beiden für die tolle Zeit, die ich in Banepa hatte! Ihr habt meinen Aufenthalt zu einem wundervollen Erlebnis gemacht. Die Lage war super für mich, da ich in Dhulikhel Krankenhaus gearbeitet habe und die Bus Station sehr nahe war. Bis zur Arbeit hab ich von Tür zur Tür nur 15 Minuten gebraucht. Auch sonst konnte man in der Nähe alles finden, was man so braucht, wie Restaurants, Supermärkte und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Wohnung ist hervorragend eingerichtet, mit großer Küche und einem tollen Innenhof. Alles ist sehr stilvoll!

Tahaja is a serene homestead that feels like a true refuge — simple, soulful, and steeped in meaning. What makes it truly special is its connection to Niels Gutschow and Bijay Basukala, whose life’s work documenting Newari architecture and rituals gives the space a quiet depth and tremendous dignity. The highlight of my stay was an architectural walk through Bhaktapur with Bibek Basukala — Bijay’s son — whose insights as a trainee architect brought the city alive in such a personal and inspiring way. Back at Tahaja, the peace and quiet were matched by the warmth of a wonderful homecooked dinner and breakfast — nourishing in every sense. Lena, the host, was wonderfully clear and responsive, and Mohan, the caretaker, made sure everything ran smoothly. A rare and beautiful stay.

The place itself was warm and inviting, with lovely details that made it feel like home. Rashil and Kiwako were outstanding hosts. They were friendly, helpful, and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Their hospitality really made a difference and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and charming spot to stay. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in the area!

We highly recommend staying at pranathi’s farm. The experience there was magical and special, inspiring us deeply. The unique architectural style, delicious and healthy food, and the surrounding nature all came together to create a one-of-a-kind experience. Pranathi was attentive to all our needs and made us feel at home. It is perfect for ones who want a quiet place that is close to nature.

Best place I’ve stayed in Kathmandu! The place was spotless, had all the amenities I needed, and the host was incredibly responsive. Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway to relax and enjoy quiet and peaceful place. We loved the farmhouse and the little house on top of the hill. Shyam and his wife were very kind and got my son milk early in the morning since I forgot to bring him some. Beautiful scenery and sunrise in the morning was breathtaking.
