Jeremy's home in the Kawartha's was absolutely perfect for our 2 families and young children. From the moment we arrived we felt so at home! The property is stunning, nestled amongst the trees, though wide open and bright- there is generous deck space, a lawn for kids to run around on (as well as a zip line, swing and hammocks!!) and a sweet meandering path that leads to a quiet lake and dock. The home itself has a comfortable, spacious and relaxed vibe. It's mid century, art filled and modern. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need for creative cooking, and the amenities in general are generous- from board games to water sports, sauna and hot tub. While there we had rainy days and colder days, but there was always so much to do and explore that every day was rich. This home would also be a perfect winter getaway.. maybe one day!

The cottage has a spectacular view of the lake. It is very spacious and up to date. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils, dinnerware, pots/pans, an air fryer and rice cooker. The dock area is in great condition, so it is a terrific place to relax in the sun, swim and fish. The stairs from the cottage to the dock has many steps, so my 84 year-old mother-in-law with bad osteoarthritis of the knees could not get down to the lake to go tubing. She was very happy to stay in the cottage and enjoy the view. The is only a short drive to Buckhorn with a Foodland and a Home Hardware to pick the items that you packed but left at home. Alex and Sophie were quick to answer any questions. Overall a really enjoyable couple of weeks.

Michael and Margaret are great hosts. We head up to their place every winter now for a little cottage country escape. They are super responsive and helpful. Their place is warm, cozy, and has a great hot tub under the stars (and under the snow if you’re lucky). We’ll be back again!

Gary & Mina were excellent hosts. They greeted us for check in and where very accommodating. Any questions we had were quickly answered via the AirBNB app. The house was full of character and had lots of things to do indoors and outdoors. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, utensils and kitchen wares. There was a washer/dryer centrally located which was great for towels and the Weber BBQ was in top notch condition. Water toys well maintained (2 kayaks, 1 paddle board, 1 canoe and 1 paddle boat). Pool and hot tub worked great, which was a must for our cottage getaway.

We were a group of 8 and Diann’s home suited our needs perfectly. Diann was very accommodating, welcoming and easy-going. The home is very clean and comfortable with plenty of charm however shows some natural wear and tear. The master bedroom has a large ensuite bathroom and the other 5 bedrooms share a small bathroom, plus there is a powder room on the main floor. Diann was very responsive with any questions or concerns. The house sits on a large, well-maintained piece of land a short walk to the water. Sitting on the back patio, you can enjoy your morning coffee with a lovely lake view. The front has a covered patio and a large spot to sit around a bonfire. There was lots of parking for our many vehicles. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay! Andrey and his wife met us, showed us around briefly and then were on their way. They were available by phone if we needed them. The cottage is lovely and has all the amenities we needed. It is spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Being right on the water was terrific and the sunsets were amazing! We were thankful to be able to use the fishing rods, canoe and life jackets. Too bad the paddle boat was broken. We would definitely come again!

An amazing place to have a quiet escape from the city. The lake is stunning and everything feels very private and cozy. Kimberley was very responsive and the instructions offered before check-in were clear and helpful. I would highly recommend RyBell Retreat!

Beautiful cottage with a spectacular view of the lake! Very quiet and peaceful for rest and relaxation. The fireplace made the cottage even more cozy on some very cold winter days during our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the entire cottage was well set up for a relaxing atmosphere. Everything was easy to find and anything you could possibly need was there. We loved that amenities like grocery stores and restaurants were close by and easily accessible.

The location of this property is amazing. My family and I enjoy our morning walks and our coffee time at the lake. You have everything you will need, just remember to bring your bed sheets, blankets, towels, etc. since as the listing mentions, these are not provided. There is a large convenience store with a LCBO very close by (10 min walking). The surroundings of the property are breathtaking. In general , very nice stay.

Great stay and location by the river. Most amenities you need are available and buying firewood is just around the corner. Rahul was a great host and replied to all our messages fast. I would recommend and would definitely stay here again, thank you!

My husband and I, along with our two adventurous pups, absolutely loved our cozy cottage escape in the Kawarthas! This place had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing retreat. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of privacy, even in a small neighborhood—those tall bushes really made it feel like our own little hideaway. Our dogs were in heaven, running around the beautifully manicured backyard with plenty of space to explore. Inside, the cottage was just as charming, with adorable, cozy bedrooms and a kitchen stocked with everything we needed, whether we were grilling outside or whipping up a delicious meal indoors. The kitchen appliances were spotless and felt brand new. And the view from the living room? Simply stunning! We spent countless hours just soaking in the beautiful lakeside scenery right from the comfort of the couch. Although we didn’t get as much fishing in as we’d hoped, we’re already planning our next trip back! Big thanks to Mel & Stu!

Enbridge home was a wonderful experience for our large group. Very spacious bedrooms and washrooms and clean environment satisfied us. Initially we were upset because of not having a private pool and fire pit but the lake and free kayaks were enough to meet our expectations. The largest backyard provides enough space for kids to play and enjoy. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful. Overall the Eganridge house was an amazing experience for our group.

The cabin is really nice, not too close to the other cabins near by. Dishes and silverware were provided which was nice, and a mini fridge as well. We brought our own portable stove as there is no oven/stove at the cottage, and everything worked out perfectly. We stayed in cottage #3 which seemed closest to the beach area and access to kayaks, canoes, paddles, etc. Front desk was very nice and supportive when we asked to have the beach shed unlocked for us to go canoeing. Golfing is also a really fun thing to do on site! We rented clubs and golf carts and had a great time. No complaints! Nice and quiet area to go with friends, family, or as a couple.

Great spot for a relaxing time with the kids. Small beach perfect for very little ones, nice park and basketball all right there. Unit is well equipped and very clean. Thanks for a nice weekend in Bobcaygeon!

We had a great time Gord’s place!The cabin is spacious, cozy, and functional with a fully equipped kitchen and two full bathrooms. Great location with easy access to the pool and a beautiful view of the lake where you can enjoy stunning sunsets right from the deck. The grounds are meticulously maintained with beautiful flowerbeds and ample lakeshore space, very quiet,creating a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. Gord and his family are exceptional hosts—friendly, respectful, accommodating, and quick to respond to any questions we had. Gord even offered a flexible check-in time and provided two heaters for a couple of chilly nights. His local recommendations for nearby attractions were also greatly appreciated. Additionally, their thoughtful gesture of providing a play kitchen structure with toys made our toddler incredibly happy. We highly recommend Gord’s place to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Thank you for a memorable stay—we look forward to returning!

Our 4th time at this location. Always a pleasure to go there. Great people in the park and the fishing is good as well.

We arrived at Gord’s cottage as planned and found a nice and clean home away from home. Communication and requests were answered promptly. Our family enjoyed the time and we can definitely recommend the place and Gord’s cottage.

This place was beautiful and homey! Honestly, the upper floor was much bigger than we expected and very clean. The bathrooms were all renovated and looked beautiful. The space was nice and kitchen was very pristine. The pool area was enjoyable and pond was nice to boat in. Would recommend this place for a nice family cottage trip :)
