Absolutely beautiful location for a relaxing getaway. Quiet and serene sandy beach. Kayaks available as described and we thoroughly enjoyed taking in the views from the lake. Great place to take the opportunity to try out the SUP in the shallows of their sandy beach. Bev and Louise were welcoming and readily available to answer any questions. We truly appreciate our hosts for sharing their home to provide such a wonderful experience.

We were in town for a wedding and had a great stay at Michelle’s place. Great location in the heart of Port Carling but still private enough to relax on the large deck and enjoy the view of the water. Would definitely stay again.

We had an unforgettable stay with Leslie and Ian . The view from the apartment was gorgeous in the snowy February weather . We felt deeply comfortable and protected from the elements inside. Equipped with Amazon Alexa , my fiancée and I got the opportunity to enjoy our books to peaceful music and set a soundtrack to our morning routines . In the winter months , as Leslie and Ian state in their ad , winter tires or all wheel drive are a must for the steep driveway . Before a big night planned at Tall Trees restaurant, my Nissan with all season tires got stuck in the snow on the driveway . Ian immediately came to our aid and assisted us with the many tools at his disposal , freeing us from the snowbank and saving our night . This kindness and hospitality will not be forgotten . An excellent stay !

Anthony's place is a hidden gem nestled in the beautiful countryside, close to town but surrounded by a serene forest. The property is situated on a stunning lake, which was frozen due to the cold winter weather. The cozy yet spacious cabin comfortably accommodated three adults and two small kids, providing all the amenities as described. The view from the large windows and balcony overlooking the lake was breathtaking, offering a peaceful retreat in nature. Anthony was incredibly friendly and provided excellent check-in instructions and recommendations. We had the pleasure of meeting him, and he was super welcoming. This stay was an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil escape in nature.

We stayed at Lynn’s mid November in order to work on our own cottage on the lake. Lynn was a wonderful host and very accommodating. The suite has a cozy cabin feel and was clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for our few days stay was provided, and Lynn took care of our used dishes very efficiently given there is no sink in the kitchen space. There was an extensive library in the cabin, filled with a mix of authors and genres to browse through. A very sunny cabin with large windows looking down onto the lake and surrounded by trees. We had our dog with us and were able to walk her along the laneway. Thanks Lynn, for a wonderfully warm and cozy stay during our brisk fall visit.

What a perfect find! I am so happy and grateful that my husband and I found this hidden gem in Muskoka! So modern, so clean and such a great vibe! Kelly and Curtis are responsive, gracious hosts and 'salt of the earth' kind of people. The king size bed is so comfortable and everything you need is there for you. The separate entrance and sitting area was also lovely. We will certainly be back for more quiet time in paradise and to enjoy more paddling down the Muskoka River on their kayaks! Thank you so much for having us! 10/10!!

Susan's place has a very cottage core aesthetic that is very cute. She was very responsive and helped us get settled in. Would definitely come back here if given the chance.

Had a great stay during a long weekend with my girlfriend. The place was clean, the view was gorgeous, and the public access point was great for people watching. Met the owners and they were very friendly too.

Our family had an amazing time at the cottage. We enjoyed the lake for paddle-boating, swimming, fishing, kayaking and the views. The fire pit was a hit with privacy and quiet evenings. The cottage was spacious and the dining table had a lot of space for our family for all meals. The kids enjoyed their bunk beds and the ping pong table in rainy days. All of us had our own space/rooms and enjoyed that as well, as we had 3 families staying there. The kitchen had all of the necessary materials needed to make our stay feel like “home” away from home. Our only complaint was the stairs to the lake were steep and difficult for the older guests to climb up and down daily. We definitely got our steps in so the younger guests didn’t mind this. We had a great week stay and loved the cottage and lake activities!

We drove through the snowstorm, it was one adventurous drive until we reached the cottage. The whole area was dunked in snow. It is a nice cozy place to snuck in during the winter. It was a beautiful sight of the frozen lake. We didnt do much, as the plan was to just stay in and relax. I am sure it will be a fun place to explore during all seasons. Clare was very responsive during the time we were there. Thank you!

Fred’s house was great! The house’s open concept was large enough for all of us (6 adults) to hang out in through the cold winter days without feeling crowded. The fireplace added lovely ambience and warmth. The six bedrooms ensured we all had our own space, which was a nice treat for our girls’ weekend. The master bedroom with ensuite was particularly spacious. The whole house was nicely decorated, and overall was a cozy and welcoming place. We didn’t use the sunroom, as is unfortunately smelled of smoke. Fred was a very responsive host. He quickly answered any questions. We had a lovely stay here, and wouldn’t hesitate to fully recommend it.

We had a great time. Sir Sam’s ski hill nearby. Hot tub was great for those days when ski hill was not an option. There is fast internet at the cottage. Very private and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

We loved this cottage and this is our second visit this time of the year. There is beautiful large table to serve meals, spacious kitchen with plenty of storage place and 2 fridges. Cozy atmosphere with a wood burning fireplace and an additional playroom/ family room. There is plenty of outdoor activities including walking, skiing (Sir Sam’s is nearby), cross country skiing or skating. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

Stayed at Linette & Dave's place with a group of friends and loved it. The house feels very homey and cozy, and the property and surrounding landscape are lovely. Linette & Dave were always quick to respond and provided some great recommendations for local hikes.

Great place to stay in Huntsville, close to the lake and provincial park with lots of winter activities. Igor was very helpful and accomodating.

The condo had recently been remodeled. There was excellent lighting throughout the unit. The bathroom had ample space with a good shower and fixtures that worked well. The beds were comfortable, with good bedding and linens. The kitchen was well stocked with usable items. All the appliances worked well. The view through the trees to the lake was lovely.

Peter was very quick with his responses and took the time to look up what was near the air bnb. The location was amazing since it was right beside a ski resort and 20 minutes away was the most beautiful skating trail in the forest. The air bnb itself was very nice. We cooked dinner and it had everything we needed and seasoning as well. The only thing would be the TV which we didn’t bring a laptop to connect to, which Peter did communicate to us we needed. It was a very great stay and Peter was ever helpful and kind ! Will come back in the summer for the lake.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The place is beautifully and tastefully renovated, making it feel both cozy and stylish. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail was evident throughout. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the ski slope! We loved that we could walk right over without even taking off our ski boots. Plus, the lake is just downstairs, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere. It truly felt like the best of both worlds. Our host, Jesse, was incredibly helpful and responsive, providing all the information we needed and answering any questions quickly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a perfect ski/lake getaway!

Our family of four had a fantastic time in Phil and Kim's vacation home over the February Family Day weekend. The location is idea for skiing at Hidden Valley or for experiencing any of the other winter activities around Huntsville. The view over the snow-covered lake gave our stay a sense of tranquility and privacy. The place was very clean and comfortable and was well represented by the photos. It was a pleasure to cook in the kitchen and use the high quality appliances and kitchen-ware. Phil was a very proactive and accommodating host - we would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay at Pino’s & Maria’s. The beds were comfy, the kitchen met with our needs and the fireplace was lovely for ambiance on a cold winters night. We actually came during the end of a snow storm at around dusk so the lights weren’t on yet. This made it difficult for us to locate the unit from our vantage point and the steps weren’t shovelled out yet, so other than those uncontrollable glitches everything else was fine.

I had a wonderful stay at Maja's and Neno Airbnb in Huntsville! The place was incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed – from a fully stocked kitchen to comfy beds and cozy living spaces. The host thought of every little detail, making it feel like home. The location was perfect too, just 10 minutes to arrowhead provincial park. Whether you're here for outdoor adventures or exploring downtown, this place is a fantastic base. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area! Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay, the accomodation is beautiful and the view on the lake in winter is amazing! It is located near a National park which offers lots of winter activities. Huntsville is nearby which is convenient also. Very nice (too short) stay!
