Walter has a beautiful place with awesome views of the sunsets. It is remote, so you definitely need to get a car. Great recommendations for food. Walter was very friendly and super responsive for anything we needed. One thing to note for future renters, the doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms are slatted for increased airflow. This does make sound travel, so privacy within your group may be limited.

A great place! Beautiful garden and patio with citrus trees and birds. The house was perfectly stocked with everything in the perfect place. From band-aids to sunburn aloe vera to beach everything to snorkel gear, it is right where you look first. Minutes from fantastic snorkeling and beginner friendly surfing, the house is in a great location. Stuart is a great host, providing local info and very responsive to questions and requests.

Truly unforgettable stay! From breathtaking ocean views to lush surroundings, every moment was enchanting. Each morning, we were greeted by charming horses nearby, adding to the serene atmosphere. The location is ideal for exploring, whether venturing across the island or enjoying local snorkeling and paddleboarding. Despite its off-the-grid feel, it’s close to excellent restaurants and cafes, offering a perfect blend of peace and convenience. Morning walks through the coffee farm to the gift shop were a delightful highlight, surrounded by coffee plants and avocado trees. The home was comfortable with stunning views, and Kelly, an amazing host, made us feel immediately at home with her attentive and caring nature. As my son and I are audhd, Kelly's place provided a relaxing escape from overwhelming hotel environments, combining home comfort with luxury. Her thoughtful communication ensured our stay was magical. . We can’t wait to return! 🌺❤️

Very safe location and beautiful neighborhood. 20 minute walk to the beach. Lots of room for 3 couples. The host was very responsive to questions about the area and codes for the house.

Very clean and obviously recently renovated space. You’re on the second floor and there is another unit directly below you. It’s a beautiful view out to the ocean, but lots of twists and turns to get there.

Ruimin’s house can be described by the word ‘charm’. It was wonderful to stay in a house that was open to the ocean brise and to be able to wake up to the sounds of birds singing - while being protected by mosquito nets. The house is large and has a wonderful view over the town and the water, allowing for stunning sunsets. Ruimin is an attentive host and quickly provided what we needed (gas grill was not working and was promptly replaced). There is some disrepair to this older house (wood railing around the - great- hot tub), but everything is in good working order and the Hawaiian open-concept charm of the house makes it all worthwhile.

We stayed for 9 days with 4 children. The house is conveniently located on the mountain, comfortable temperature during day and night. Close to Kona. The place has well equipped kitchen amd bbq. We cooked meals. There are beach towels, beach umbrella and snorkeling equipment, laundry. Host is very friendly and responsive. Beds are comfortable.

The Aloha House is spectacular in every way. From the beautiful and peaceful garden to the wonderful wraparound deck, accessible from the bedrooms, and overall comfortable accommodations. It is steps away from Manini Beach which is a total paradise - you can put a kayak in Kealakakua Bay just feet away, walk two minutes and swim in the bay or watch dolphins from the beach. Beth is a wonderful host. Can’t wait to go back!

This place was exactly what we needed! Even with a last minute double booking, they were accommodating and made the space work very well for us. They were always a text away, and very responsive. Close to what we needed, but also not in the middle of town where it was very busy. Thank you!

Very comfortable condo. Was great for our adult family. Used the beach wagon and beach towels a bunch of times. There was snorkel gear, but we had our own. Was great to have a very nice washer and dryer in the unit. Kitchen was adequately equipped for when we ate in. It was great to have so many close shopping and restaurant options within walking distance. Airconditioning was great, especially with ceiling fans to circulate ite air. The parking garage was a little worrisome. At first it looked like our big suv would be too tall, but there was about 3 inches clearance. A little tight getting around the temporay foundation supports in the garage, but it worked out. Nice to have convenient parking. We would definately rent this condo again. Host is wonderful. Very quick responses each time we contacted him.

I loved this place. Stayed here a week with my mom. The balcony is large and the view is amazing. Despite there being a pool from the apartment next door, noise was never an issue. It was a five minute drive to the downtown. The pool area was relaxing. Jason was very responsive and kind. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

helpful host and nice house. Everything is perfect except for some cockroaches intruders. Highly recommended for those who love immersive experience in nature but also want to be close to amenities like restaurants and stores.

Lovely little place with beautiful surroundings. Older than appears in pictures but very clean. Very limited space to cook and fridge is quite small but there is a bbq and outdoor seating which was great. Hosts were friendly, attentive and always responsive. The pool is lovely and the nearby bay is close walking distance . The hosts live on the property full time and work from home so they are present and around most of the time. They were very respectful and were not nosy in the least but something to be aware of. Their cat and dog are wonderful and will visit you if desired.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Devorah's house. Devorah was gracious, and her house was amazing. Plenty of space for my huge family. The house was perfectly located in a beautiful neighborhood that's easy to find. House is as described with a great pool and lots of room. We recommend and will return on our next trip to Kona, Hawaii.

The ocean views were fantastic. It was clean and tidy. I didn’t get to experience much as I was only there for about 15 hours total. Located near many restaurants and many things to see to experience the Hawaiian vibe!

Nos hemos sentido muy a gusto en la Ohana de Brian y Linda, y nos han ayudado en seguida con todo lo que hemos necesitado. Casita muy confortable y amplia, totalmente equipada, situada debajo de la casa de los amfitriones, con un jardín privado muy agradable y amueblado muy cómodamente. Situado en un barrio tranquilo y seguro, a pocos minutos en coche del centro de Kona donde hay zonas de restaurantes y bares. Hay sitio para aparcar gratuitamente en la calle al lado de la ohana. Mahalo!!!

This was a great stay in Kona! The space is small but very comfy, has fans and a/c and a great shower. Outdoor space to rinse gear and tons of beach gear to borrow. The bed was comfy and the covered lanai was great for breakfasts and had an ocean view! Valerie and Larry were friendly and gracious hosts, and we enjoyed meeting them. The location is not super walkable, but with a rental car access to anywhere in Kona is super easy and within 10 mins. I'd highly recommend this space!

It’s very convenient that this property had free AC. It was also nice that we were able to cook full breakfast every day. That helps save a lot of money. Also great location!

We needed a place to stay last minute for a few days after a flight cancellation. Rosalba's place was well-reviewed, well-priced, perfectly located, and communication was fast and easy. It was a comfy place for my husband, my teenage daughter, and myself. It was very close to Magic Sands Beach and we greatly appreciated the beach towels, chairs, and umbrella that were available to use. The description and pictures were spot on. Communication was great. I highly recommend.

Not your typical rental. This is someone 's private home so there is "stuff". But that also means you have everything you need. Kitchen has every imaginable gadget. Beautiful view of the beach from the fully furnished lani. Gorgeous tended garden with plenty of sitting areas and a fire pit. Plus many different fruits. Comfy beds, 3 beds and 2 baths. Perfect for couples or family. Host is friendly and very accommodating. Good location, close to beaches, restaurants and sites.

The view is absolutely stunning—one of those views that reminds you to slow down and breathe it all in. The host was kind, responsive, and so welcoming. I’m especially grateful for the treats they left—it really added an extra touch of warmth and aloha. If you’re looking for a place that offers both comfort and natural beauty, this is it. I left with a full heart and lots of gratitude.

Would recommend the turtle house to anyone who is traveling to Kona! Kristy was a great host and made our stay so enjoyable!!
