I can’t say enough good things about my experience. Everything was as described. Instructions were precise and clear. Lara was the consummate host - available when needed (or anticipated!), yet completely unassuming. The room, linens, amenities were all perfect. The sauna was the icing on the cake. I look forward to staying again.

Lara is so kind, intelligent and easy to interact with. She made us feel at home instantly! When we had to leave early for a family emergency, she volunteered a refund of our last day without being prompted. How kind and generous! Meredith, the manager, was spectacular. She was a warm and welcoming host who took the time to make us feel at home with breakfast and good conversation. I recommend the Inn to every person passing through Blue Mountain Lake. You will not be disappointed!

Deborah offers a clean and comfortable accommodation next to an amazing lake. Be sure to bring a boat to explore and watch the sunset. I know I will be back to enjoy the area and spend more time hiking.

This was truly the best airbnb I've ever staying at! I could never say enough nice things about the host and the place. Lara was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful with anything that we needed. The description is a completely accurate representation of the house. She keeps the fridge and kitchen stocked with eggs, teas, snacks, etc. Everything is kept clean and organized. This is a whole closet of pillows and blankets. Everything you could ever need is there, and if by chance it isn't, Lara can find it for you. We had the best time in VT, made all the better by Lara and her home. Can't wait to visit again soon!

David was a fantastic host. He is friendly, thoughtful, incredibly helpful and very accommodating. The property is beautifully kept. My room was extremely comfortable (I slept like a rock) and the bathroom super clean. It’s a luxury to be treated so well.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Lara ‘s Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, the hostess and her son made me feel incredibly welcome and at home. They were both so warm, friendly, and attentive, ensuring that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The suite itself was beautiful—spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed with all the amenities you could ask for. It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the area. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible amount of local information the hostess provided. She shared great recommendations for nearby activities and restaurants, all of which were spot on. Thanks to her suggestions, I was able to discover some amazing spots I wouldn’t have found on my own. I can’t recommend this place enough! It truly felt like a home away from home, and I can’t wait to return. Thank you again for such an unforgettable stay!

Chalet Whiteface was exactly what my boys and I were looking for to facilitate a weekend of hiking in ADK. Allison is an excellent host: very accommodating, focused on making sure that we were comfortable, and always up for a chat. Her place has a cozy feel to it, beds were clean and comfortable, and satisfying breakfasts were served in a comfy lodge common area. The food, drink, and live music (Saturday) at the pub provided the perfect end to a long day of beautiful fall hiking. This is the place to go if you're looking to be hosted by another human being, not a corporation. Stayed here last fall, will be returning next fall.

it was great experience to stay here. it's far from near tourists places but cool and calm place. Good thing about stay was no search for food. It is on top of really good restaurant where you can find Indian along with other items. we enjoyed.

Thanks to Julia’s precise directions, I was able to find the property in a pitch black night. It was so nice to be welcome by deers in the field, and get to a warm and clean house. The room was cozy and comfortable (great beds, pillows ans comforters). The view from the room is stunning. Nice touch with a buffet corner with a choice of tea/coffee, oatmeal and fresh fruits. Will come back!

Allison and her family run the Chalet Whiteface and the onsite pub/restaurant Rudy's Scar Bar. This place is a gem. The staff is super friendly and clearly care (they live there too). It is essentially an old ski lodge (pub downstairs, living area upstairs) with a newer 10-room hotel bolted on. The rooms are just like the photos, clean and comfortable with classic Adirondack wood styling. The bathrooms are not fancy but are super clean and the shower is good. Every room has both an outdoor exit right to your car, and an indoor exit leading to the living areas. The living areas are wild and woolly, it's old northeast ski culture - big couches, fireplaces, a new TV and ping pong. This is not hipster 1980s, it's the actual 1980s. Guests hang out and chat, families play, it's a lot of fun. Having the pub grub and bar just down a secret staircase is such a plus. We were visiting to ski, and you can't beat the location, 4 minutes to the main lot at Whiteface Mountain. Thank you, Allison!

I stayed in the Adirondak room and it was very comfortable. I met Randy one morning at breakfast and he was friendly and a delight to talk with. The common space had coffee and tea, microwave, toaster, and dishes. It was only a couple minute drive to the olympic center. I was here for the Empire State Winter Games and 100% would stay again.
