We had three very nice nights! The apartment was bigger than we anticipated and very well appointed. It’s right on a busy corner, so we heard the snowplows during the night (lots of snow!!), but was otherwise peaceful with the sound of the river. Joe was very flexible with dates when we had to shift because of weather. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

Arrived a little later than expected as we had a 6 hour ride. His wife met us at check in to hand off the keys and explain the parking. Park pass lot was right across the street and always had a spot available. The space was perfect. Super clean with a well stocked kitchen. We came to town for a youth hockey tournament so the kitchen was much appreciated after the games. Location was perfect. Walking distance to the Olympic Center and right in the middle of all the shops! Bonus that Starbucks is right across the street! We will be back!

The location is perfect with easy access to the Ausable river with brown trout fishing within 100 yards. Meg was friendly and responsive and made sure everything was smooth. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful Adirondack getaway!

My wife and I loved our weeklong stay here. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, with a full kitchen, 2 beds, a propane grill, and a comfortable living room. It's right in the middle of some of the best places in the Adirondacks but quiet enough that you feel secluded. We loved being able to hear the Ausable River roar right behind the apartment. The whole town lost power from a storm on our last night, and the hosts were sure to check on us to make sure we had what we needed - we really appreciated that. Looking forward to our next stay!

We had an absolutely phenomenal stay at Sue’s place. We met her husband as well, and he was so kind and helpful. It was accurately described, very clean, and she was very responsive. We were impressed with how much light the apartment let in the middle of winter. The backyard views were incredible. It was an absolutely perfect stay for what we needed. We visited the college and were only five minutes from the campus. The town is very cute with everything we needed right there at our fingertips. We would 10 out of 10 highly recommend and come back at any time of year. This is a property that would be beautiful during every season.

June’s place is nice and cozy, great amenities including washer/dryer, beautiful views of Lake Champlain and Adirondack mountains. June was a responsive host and helped us get in to her place last minute with ease.

Betsy is a super host! Let us know about the local area, places to eat and visit, where we can go stargazing which honestly is a must if you come to stay here! She is flexible and accommodating, just communicate with her and she will respond. The airbnb was clean, private, and very cozy! The local area is great with beautiful surroundings. Can't wait to come back to get some more hikes under our belts.

Relaxing cabin perfect for small groups. Easy place to gather by the fireplace or hang out in the game room. Responsive and friendly host. Clean and modern house with fun layout. Close to skiing at Gore and restaurants of Lake George. Overall great rental and experience.

On our last day we saw a spectacular sunset which was indicative of our whole stay. The star was of course the wonderful setting on the lake. It was enhanced by how tastefully the house was renovated, decorated and fully supplied with everything we needed. It truely exceeded our expectations and made for a memorable experience in the beautiful state of Vermont.

We adored the cottage and are already making plans to return in the summer. The host was so accommodating and helpful we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We loved the cabin decor and beautiful views of the frozen lake from the living room. It was so cosy, peaceful and quiet just what we wanted. We were really impressed with the eco friendly wood pellet heater too. Highly recommend.

Shauna’s home was well maintained, clean, and well stocked with the essentials. We had a large party, and everyone was able to hang out together but also find smaller spaces for quiet time. It is very close to town, while also being an easy 20 minute drive from Whiteface. We would love to stay again!

It is my pleasure to recommend Brad's house in Lake Placid / Saranac. I travel there every year with a group of friends for hiking and skiing, and this was the perfect spot for us to stay. The house was easy to find and more than large enough to fit us all. Brad's instructions were very clear and he was responsive to all messages I sent over the course of the stay.

We had a great time! Location is private, peaceful, and a great place to relax and recharge. Karen gave clear and easy to follow instructions for check in and check out and was responsive about any questions we had. The house was very clean and cozy, we felt right at home as soon as we walked in the door. My family loves to cook and bake and it was great how well the kitchen was stocked with utensils and everything we needed to cook while we were there. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The kayaks were awesome to take out for a paddle! We will definitely return again when we can!

Our family of five just spent Thanksgiving at the lake house. Its size and layout accommodated us well - having the second frig became necessary. It’s a lovely place and stunning views from almost every window. Would definitely come again. Thanks!

The condo was great! We stayed for a ski weekend and enjoyed the beautiful view of mirror lake, access to the indoor pool and hot tub and easy walk to shops.

It's a beautiful location with plenty of things to do in the area. You do get your money's worth. It's also close to many shopping amenities for those who prefer not to travel by car to buy groceries or medicine. Overall, a great experience!

Its perfect for a couple to stay in. Great place to stay at a reasonable price. The unit had beautiful views of the mountains. It's about a 5 min drive to lake placid and 25 minute drive to whiteface. I would definitely stay here again. Our Host recommended some delicious places to eat for breakfast and dinner. It made it very helpful trying to decide from all the business in town.

Condo matches the pictures, but the view is far better than the pictures. Very comfortable space and open floor plan. Kitchen was well stocked, we cooked in a couple nights and had everything we needed to prep meals. Having three full bathrooms was great (we had 4 adults and two kids). Easy walk to the middle of town and all the restaurants/shops, but far enough away that it didn’t feel busy. Coffee on the balcony was an amazing way to start the day. We’ve been going to lake placid for 20+ years and have stayed many places - this is one of the best views we’ve had while still being right in the village. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful weekend in Lake Placid with our daughter and family.We had lots of snow, a true winter wonderland. When the sky’s cleared we enjoyed the spectacular views. This is a very comfortable and cozy home. We relaxed by the fireplace. The kitchen is very well stocked so we ate in a couple nights.The whole condo was as clean as can be. We will certainly be back. Maria is a super friendly and responsive host. The room looks more cozy and spacious than the picture :) Maria did a great job keeping everything clean and welcoming. It was great staying at her place! Definitely recommend this place!

We had a great stay and the location was peaceful and quiet. Access to both lake Placid and mirror lake was easy with paddle boards. It was an easy walk to town as well. The condo was spacious with more than enough space for our group of 7. The kitchen cabinets and appliances as well as bathrooms are dated but all in perfect working order. We would definitely book with Diane in the future.
