From my first inquiry, this host was very quick to respond. They were friendly and happy to answer all my questions. The house is a part of a duplex and this one is located in the back. It was very homely, and comfy, and had the most modern amenities. The bedrooms were spacious with plenty of room for two people each. Everything was very clean upon arrival. The area was surrounded by lots of trees and luscious greenery! A welcome change from our desert home. If I ever come back to the area for business or pleasure, I would definitely consider staying here again.

Wow, what a beautiful home, beautifully renovated with lots of character! Fully stocked of everything necessary and then some! Loved having a TV in the bedroom, perfect for recovery after surgery! Kate was very friendly, helpful and flexible with my time parameters! Overall a VERY lovely and convenient stay for my circumstances. I highly recommend this place for long or short term stay!

My family and I had a great stay at Rae’s place. It was spacious, clean, and well-stocked with amenities. They had a beautiful outdoor area as well, with a pretty garden. The home is located in a lovely, safe neighborhood, and we felt very comfortable being there. Rae was a very responsive host and gave clear and easy instructions. Highly recommend!

Such a lovely peaceful place. The view is amazing. We sat on the deck watching the red-winged blackbirds and hearing them call. It is just 5 minutes from town so perfect to run in and get something. Couldn't be better and we look forward to coming back!

This was easily one of the best accommodations we'vestayed in. The place is clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The beds and bedding items were comfortable, the toiletry items were high quality, and the water pressure was excellent. It is in a quiet area while not being too far from shops. It was perfect for what we needed to do in Portland, and I could see it working well for either a short trip like ours or a longer visit. Having the kitchenette was super helpful, and surprisingly several snack and food items were also provided. Danusia and Ron are gracious and welcoming hosts and reached out about what we needed during our stay. It was particularly heartwarming to receive homemade baked goods, which were lovely. This turned out to be a very relaxing place to spend time and truly a 'home away from home.' I hope to have another chance to stay here again, and I highly recommend it for people coming to the Portland/Milwaukie area.

Really appreciate this cozy stay with private river access to the Willamette. It was lovely. The massage chair is not to be underestimated! Would def stay again in warmer season to take advantage of water amenities like paddle boards and canoes. It was a bit cold to do so this time around.

This was a truly lovely airbnb to stay in. Sellwood is my favourite Portland neighbourhood— I always try to stay nearby when I come to town, and the location of Lorie's place couldn't be beat. Lorie too was a lovely host. It was a last-minute booking and she made sure to have it ready in time for me. Pros: -Walkable! -Amazing kitchen for cooking, bright, spacious, and fully stocked -Natural cleaning products and no artificial scents in the apartment, including the linens -Plenty of seating options to enjoy meals, inside and outside -Perfect size shower with great water pressure -Everything clean -Nice touches throughout the apartment -Didn't feel cookie cutter, even the flooring was great (I think it's concrete or something more natural, not vinyl) Cons: -If you're *really* sensitive to noise, you can sometimes here people walking upstairs, but it wasn't bad -I like a really firm mattress and these were a little soft, but again, not bad Would absolutely stay here again! Home was beautifully furnished and very cozy. Cindy thought of everything. I forgot my make up wipes, Cindy provided some! We forgot coffee, either Cindy or a previous guest left some! We were in Portland for a few days to meet our new grand baby and the kitchen had everything I needed to prep meals for the new parents. The bonus was the location, only a mile away from our son!

Location was perfect, 45 min drive to Multnomah Falls, 2hr 30min drive to Seattle, less than 15min to all the must sees spots in Portland. The house was comfy, we felt safe and it had everything we needed.

Loren is a great host. I cannot recommend her enough. She is an amazing person, and the house was beautiful and spacious. She is kind and helpful. If you are visiting Portland or Oregon City, stay with Loren!

We enjoyed our stay at Mary Jean's place. She was a very attentive host and we had everything we needed. It is a really comfortable space. We had our family (11 including us) over one night to hang out and there was plenty of room. I enjoyed watching the birds at her feeder in the mornings and taking walks in the neighborhood. It's a beautiful area!

I really enjoyed my stay here with my dogs. Megan was great and very helpful. The only thing to note is if you have larger dogs like I do then make sure you supervise them in the yard because the gate is very easy to open just by giving it a push (without lifting the latch). This didn’t end up being a problem for me because I didn’t use the yard that much but it’s still just something to be aware of. Overall I had a great time and would recommend staying here.
