This place is fantastic. We had a wonderful 5 days of skiing powder at Alyeska and Brittany’s place did not disappoint! The beds are comfortable, kitchen well stocked, and hot tub amazing after a day of skiing. Literally walkable to the lifts…couldn’t be more pleased

Mackenzie's cabin was mostly exactly as described. The only exception was the third bed. While she described ladder access to all beds which is accurate the third bed is located in a small nook above a storage area. In order to be comfortable in this bed one must not have any trace of claustrophobia. Otherwise the cabin was beautifully decorated and clean. The hot tub did seem like it needed a water change or chemical adjustment, there was an excessive foam layer when the jets turned on, in addition to debris from the trees and foliage around on the bottom of the hot tub. The hot tub cover was pretty water logged making it heavier to remove and place back on.

The place is a small distance off the road accessible via a gravel/dirt road. It's easy to find and a very quiet location. There is a neighbor close by, but they're quiet and respectful just in case that's a concern for anyone. Wifi was fast, kitchen was clean, there was a washer and dryer, the hot tub worked, and the place fit 10 adults perfectly. I used the keurig machine everyday. Russ was responsive in addressing concerns. I would stay here again if I were to come back to Alaska. Thanks for hosting us!

Location is prime. Cabin was cozy and perfect. Jacuzzi was clean and communication with staff was quick and timely. Would recommend anyone to stay here if you are going to the mountain. Perfect.

The cabin was beautiful, with much love put into all the wood carvings by Kent. The beds were super comfortable. The little kitchen very helpful. We all LOVED the sauna and the hot tub on a chilly rainy day in August. Thank you Kent for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home!

We had a lovely stay in Girdwood (what a cute place!), the apartment was very conveniently located for skiing and had everything we needed for a wonderful and very comfortable skiiing holiday. We absolutely hope to return and would stay here again :)

The view of the hillside was nice to watch the skiers come down. The hot tub was a great touch even though we didn’t have an opportunity to use it. Everything was clean and described as expected.

This place is like a little slice of heaven. Very quiet location, felt secluded and not at all like being in someones backyard. It was easy to find, easy to park, cozy to hang out in. I wouldn't be surprised if it is one of the best accommodations available in Hope. If im ever down again this will be the top of my list for staying.

we spent a nice time , location is intresting for go to fishing around. 5 mitute to market and Soldotona dowtown near to Kenai and Kalisof river ( 20 minutes) for sure place to comeback for other fishing trip, barbecue present and plesure to use frendly. Thank Torry for all very aprecied 😊

Cozy cabin worked well for us. The location is convenient to Creekbend where we were headed daily. It’s clean, the bed is very comfortable, hosts were easy to contact and provided coffee and little arrival snacks. Area is quiet, easy to walk if desired. We particularly liked the dark night sky and beautiful sunrise over the hills.

The place is cute but practical with towels and kitchen utensils and everything else you could need in a pinch. The bunk bed a little wobbly but not bad. Danise was a super super friendly host! The hot water tank is small so don't expect to take long showers and baths for every guest and do the dishes all in one day, lol. The property was really quiet and peaceful and the lake especially was so quiet and nice. We rested well here during our travels! We really appreciated it being pet friendly and clean!

Elliot was a woot as well as Dawson his gorgeous friendly new pup. Elliot was an amazing host! Gorgeous property, good are easy in and out of the neighborhood lots of friendly faces. The rental was gorgeous and clean expectations and instructions on how things can be used. Endless amounts of dvd and movies to enjoy! Cannot wait to stay again on my next adventure over.

The cabin is located in an absolutely stunning spot! Even on cloudy days, the views are beautiful. I met Gary during the check-in process at the front cabin and he was very kind and friendly. The cabin was small and quaint. It was a lot closer to the other 3 cabins than what we expected. As others have said, there is no WiFi at the cabin, but WIFI is accessible from the front, check-in cabin. We were disappointed to wake up to the sound of construction both mornings.

This was a really great spot for a weekend in Hope. Would love to stay again!

Place was great and very cozy!

The cabin was perfect for our girls get away! Jeannine had great recommendations for us, a paint night in the main lodge and brunch Sunday morning. We walked to a concert down the street and ate all our meals at the restaurant on the grounds, The Dirty Skillet. Every employee at the campground was delightful! Will definitely be going back!

Great cabin in beautiful mountain setting. Very clean and comfortable space with great views on all sides. Loved the paths with the little houses and other decor. Jeff was very welcoming and helpful in pointing us to some good spots for the next day. We will definitely look to come back on our next trip through.

Great place and great location. Views of the mountains were incredible! Right across the street from Wildman’s which has everything you might need. Short drive to some great restaurants. Would recommend checking out Gwin’s Roadhouse for some great food. About a 5 minute drive away.

Jayden was a great host. He sent me check in instructions when we didn’t have reception, which helped with our late arrival. It was clean and spacious. Our ten person family trip appreciated the space and large kitchen table. It was very easy to get what we needed for our rafting/fishing trip from their tackle store. The only issue we ran into was their new stove would trip there breaker if you tried to use the oven and the stove top at the same time. But using one at a time worked well.

The stay was great, I enjoyed making a fire in the outdoor fire pit with wood & lighters supplied. Just bring your own marshmallows 🙂 There was a couple of resident rabbits that my daughter enjoyed seeing also. Top value for what our family needed that was central to everything we wanted to see & do in the area

Ben's place is awesome, perfect if one is visiting Portage or Seward, small cabin in the woods with lots of beautiful birds and kenai lake nearby. Ben is also very helpful incase one need something and friendly to talk too. Highly recommended if one is visiting Seward

This was the perfect place for my daughter and I to stay for the week. We explored the entire peninsula which made this a great Basecamp. Everything was well kept and clean. The house also was very well equipped with kitchen items and other household necessities (like laundry soap, which you never see). We will definitely stay again when we return.
