Super location to access the ski lfts.

Overall we were very happy with the place. The warm floors were a nice touch coming back in from cold days of exploring. We had a little trouble with the hot water heater giving us error codes (twice) but fortunately the host was very responsive so it didn’t have that much of an impact on us. Just a friendly heads up that if you want to use the grill, you’ll need to bring your own propane. It’s a nice place and I would recommend staying there.

Can’t say enough about how beautiful a house Brett has…and the million dollar view it affords. 5 bedrooms and a yurt outside creates so much room for everyone…we had 6 in our group, you definitely, if you were couples fit more people. The kitchen had everything you’d need to Cheff up a meal so you wouldn’t have to go out to eat if that’s the way you roll. The hot tub in the yard overlooks the Homer Spit, and the majestic Kachemek Bay mountains across the bay. We would rent here again in a heartbeat. Such a lovely rental!

This house was a wonderful place to spend a ski vacation at Alyeska. The kitchen was very well furnished and thoughtful things like a bluetooth speaker, dual washer/dryer, and boot dryer were included. The house is also the perfect location for apres ski to enjoy the high end hot tub and barrel sauna. The ski resort is any easy 4 minute drive with plenty of parking. A fun twist on skiing, the resort does not open until 10am, so we enjoyed many relaxing mornings with several pots of coffee before heading out. The Girdwood famous Double Musky Inn restaurant(great for steaks and deserts) is an easy 10 minute walk. There is a recreation path on the mtn road, so you could even bike to the resort if you wanted to. Be sure to stock up on groceries in Anchorage before heading to Girdwood as the town is small and does not have a full sized grocery.

This location was perfect for our family. We had young children who felt so at home they didn’t want to leave after our 3 day stay. All ages had a wonderful time and we are so thankful to have had quality family time together. Thank you!

We stayed at Holly’s place for a ski trip with our kids and some extra family. The location is amazing - private and also walking distance to the lifts. We loved the fully stocked kitchen, cozy atmosphere, upstairs TV space and amenities. The mudroom with space to hang wet ski gear is incredibly helpful as well. We would definitely stay here again next time we come to Girdwood!

Would stay again! Perfect for a couples getaway. The hottub is shared, but we had a great conversation with new faces. Firepit was easy to light and it has wonderful views. Thought about booking another night, but unfortunately we have to face adult life. Highly recommend!!

This place is a gem and Jill keeps it spotless and well equipped! We loved the deck, the hot tub, the fire pit, the view! Jill was super responsive, considerate and helpful. I am so grateful we were able to be there when the snow flew… it was just magical. Our dogs loved this comfortable place and we will be back!

We loved our stay here. Walked to lifts some days and to restaurants nearby. Brittany gave us great recommendations for restaurants that did not disappoint. Skied, took hikes to waterfalls and a hand tram! Don't miss the Alaksa wildlife conservation area nearby. Hot tub was great after skiing all day. Beds were very comfortable. At first, we were worried about renting a 1.5 bath home vs 2 baths for 2 couples, but we planned ahead and had no issues at all. Thanks Brittany. Will recommend this place to any friends coming to Alyeska!!

Mackenzie's cabin was mostly exactly as described. The only exception was the third bed. While she described ladder access to all beds which is accurate the third bed is located in a small nook above a storage area. In order to be comfortable in this bed one must not have any trace of claustrophobia. Otherwise the cabin was beautifully decorated and clean. The hot tub did seem like it needed a water change or chemical adjustment, there was an excessive foam layer when the jets turned on, in addition to debris from the trees and foliage around on the bottom of the hot tub. The hot tub cover was pretty water logged making it heavier to remove and place back on.

The place is a small distance off the road accessible via a gravel/dirt road. It's easy to find and a very quiet location. There is a neighbor close by, but they're quiet and respectful just in case that's a concern for anyone. Wifi was fast, kitchen was clean, there was a washer and dryer, the hot tub worked, and the place fit 10 adults perfectly. I used the keurig machine everyday. Russ was responsive in addressing concerns. I would stay here again if I were to come back to Alaska. Thanks for hosting us!

The cabin was beautiful, with much love put into all the wood carvings by Kent. The beds were super comfortable. The little kitchen very helpful. We all LOVED the sauna and the hot tub on a chilly rainy day in August. Thank you Kent for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home!

Wow, hard to put into words what an incredible experience this was. Doug has spent a decade+ building a stunning lodge sitting on the beautiful lake clark - we felt so fortunate to be able to experience it. We stayed in the 2 bedroom in a group of 3 adults and 1 kid, and it was perfect for us. Doug was super responsive in communication and took care of everything. Picked us up from the airport in Port A, had all 3 meals each day prepared (+$), and organized some amazing tours for us (+$). It was amazing just realized by the water front, getting a fire going, fishing off the pier, and enjoying the sauna and hot tub. Doug and his family really make you feel at home and I can’t recommend this amazing place enough!

Had a lovely stay, we had everything we needed. would definately recommend.
