Cute place with thoughtful touches. Only about 15 minutes from the Homer Spit. We had a great time on our trip!

It was wonderful place to stay - safe and out of the city limits but close to Anchorage and the airport. Although we were disappointed in the lack of snow, our lodging offered easy access to the hillside trails in South Anchorage, a five-minute drive to winter where we found plenty of snow to play in! During winter I would advise having an all-wheel drive vehicle as the driveway is a bit steep. The lodging, as stated, had a microwave, toaster oven, one burner stove with plenty of plates, pots/pan and utensils. Doing dishes was challenging but creative offering us a large old fashion wash pan basin. Comfy beds and a fireplace regulated by the thermostat giving us a nice atmosphere. Overall, very nice! I would stay there again!

Hank’s place was just as described, easy to find with his directions and easy check-in. The apartment was very clean and homey. Lots of games, books and tv provided. As described, no kitchen, but still had an old fashion mini fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker as well as basic dishes and utensils. Being a few miles outside of downtown it had the perfect secluded feeling without being secluded. We were able to meet Hank in person, super friendly and accommodating with answering any questions we had. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I loved our stay at Jonathans. Super clean, dog friendly and peaceful stay. 10/10 will try to book again in the future.

Todd's place was a great find! Spacious, comfortable, and conveniently located- this was a perfect stop in Anchorage. Todd was a gracious, helpful host, and Tux the cat made me feel right at home!

We had a fantastic stay at Suzi’s place! The home was spotless, filled with great amenities, and the radiant floor heating made it especially cozy on those chilly winter nights. Suzi was incredibly thoughtful host. She suggested a different entrance due to the heavy snow, which was so helpful. When we left early in the morning, we were pleasantly surprised to find the path to our car already shoveled. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Such a lovely spot, and a cozy landing place- really don’t think the photos do it justice. We liked it so much we extended our stay another two days. We didn't have a dog but anyone traveling with one should book this immediately.

Beautiful place with amazing views and plenty of beds for larger parties

We loved this stay! The suite is spacious and Sarah left many essentials for our use. I worked from the suite one morning and had absolutely no issues with upstairs noise while sleeping, working, or hanging out in the suite. We enjoyed reading through the local recommendations that Sarah put together. This is a very well done Airbnb!

Allot of space, big kitchen and was well stocked with everything you need for a long stay. I loved the super comfortable seats in the living room and it was great to have the big outdoor space/deck. Just remember it’s a family home so you will hear the daily activities upstairs. A side benefit is that it’s right off the bike trail so it’s an easy and beautiful walk to some really good local restaurants and a frozen yogurt place.

This place was super cute and cozy! I needed a chill quiet weekend out of Anchorage and so happy I decided to stay here. The place was VERY clean! The bathroom was huge and I loved the shower. The bed was so super comfy!! The kitchenette was perfect for coffee and bagels in the morning and wine and apps at night. The hot tub was one of the main reasons I chose to stay here and it was very clean and relaxing!! The view here is beautiful in the winter—can only imagine how pretty the lake is in the summer time.

It was a last minute booking and Donald was awesome! Not only was he super accommodating he really helped make our celebration special. Everything is laid out so well and his instructions are crystal clear. Everything was most lovely.

This was a perfect place for my husband and I. Peaceful, beautiful and cozy. We hope to be back next time we come to visit our family in Soldotna.

Bob and Donna were amazing hosts. The most welcoming hosts we have ever seen. Bob went out of his way to help us to show Flat Top at midnight. Both helped us to understand things around Alaska for first time visitors. Best recommendations for places and restaurants as per your food choices. Best couple and host ever met. Thank You Both. Great location, very peaceful and just as described! The bed is super comfortable! Check in and check out went smoothly with no issues. All we needed was provided by the host. No concerns with this stay! Would book again!

This peaceful apartment was amazing. Incredibly comfortable and very relaxing surroundings. We loved our stay here and can’t wait to return. The hosts were incredibly kind and had very helpful as well.

We were first time in Alaska and were travelling with our toddler. We needed private space, full kitchen, close by grocery stores and easy access to downtown by a car. Lauren’s place was perfect for all those requirements. The unit is a basement unit with separate entrance and dedicated parking. Lots of grocery stores near by including walmart. The downtown was just 10-12 min away so we could easily go there for museums in the days and nice/famous restaurants in the evening. Host is very responsive and happy to help if you have questions.

This place was great, in a quiet area. We didn't use the hot tub, although it was available. My kids enjoyed the games that are provided, and we greatly appreciated the high chair and baby utensils for our baby! This place is pet friendly, our pet was also right at home. It felt like a staycation!

My two young sons and I stayed, and found the unit spacious, immaculate, nicely appointed. Pay careful attention to the instructions. I didn't and struggled a bit to find the entrance, perhaps due to the eight-hour flight and four-hour time zone difference. Once we did, getting in was a cinch. Their recommendations for local establishments was spot on.

I was in Anchorage for a funeral and my accommodations fell through, last minute. Because I had stayed at Julie and Doug’s twice before, I reached out and they were quick to respond and had it available for me within the hour. It was a great choice because I already knew the place was allergy free and safe. Plus, it is very comfortable and the location is great when staying in Anchorage.

We had a comfortable stay at Snob Hollow. My co worker and I each had our own bedroom and full bathroom which made getting ready quick and easy before our day of meetings. Holly was proactive in her communication. Check in and out went smoothly. The bungalow was clean with modern decor. We will definitely stay again!

Degen's place is better than the photos show! It's super cozy and spacious, making it perfect for a family or group of friends. The location is convenient, just a short drive from the airport and several popular restaurants (only about 5 minutes away). We had a fantastic stay! Everything was well-prepared, and if we needed anything, the response was quick. Overall, it was an amazing experience in Anchorage, and we would definitely return for a second visit.

We absolutely loved this space. The view was amazing. The apartment was so clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast items provided were wonderful. This is the first AirBnB we have been to that had everything we could possibly need. If this place isn’t available on our next trip to Homer, we will change dates to when it is!
