The love shack was perfect for a weekend away! We grilled, enjoyed the hot tub, relaxed by the fire ring and on the back porch with gorgeous views. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed, from fire wood for the fire ring to k cups for the coffee pot, and lots of clean towels. We came down for a motorcycle rally, and scenic rides, but this was such a perfect little cabin, that we will absolutely be back. The host was thorough with the instructions, and super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We were secluded but not too far from grocery stores or restaurants, they were just a little drive away. The bed was SO comfortable too, we both slept great! We had a wonderful time here at the love shack, and can’t wait to come back.

I liked everything about the place! We stayed in the Hansel and Gretel cottage and it was a clean, comfortable, cute little cabin. It was a perfect base for our adventures. There was a charcoal grille off our private patio, so of course there were steaks the first night! We did every adventure they offered (except the horseback riding, ran out of time!). Micky was a wonderful host and tour guide. We met every animal on the place and the ANIMALS were even nice, well trained, well kept, and fun to be around. Vicky and Micky gave us some recommendations for a trip into Boerne, which is about 5 miles away, and they definitely picked out the best places for us to get food and entertainment. If you like animals (all kinds including some exotic birds), walking a beautiful property, being left alone to enjoy it, and personal service any time you need it I can HIGHLY recommend this place. Thanks to Micky and Vicky I was a hero for a nice anniversary weekend!

My wife and I loved our stay. The location was perfect just a few miles outside downtown Boerne. We were able to enjoy our day and quickly get away from it all on beautiful land with great cabins that feel like a true escape. The cabins were well appointed with everything we needed. Our hosts thought of everything and made our stay perfect. We had a nice chat with very hospitable chickens in the morning. And the most friendly donkey ever wished us well when we left. Don’t think twice, this is a great place to stay and the hosts are top notch. We feel like we have new friends in Boerne that we look forward to visiting again very soon.

We have had the pleasure of staying at the cottage several times. It has become our “go to” place when we want to get away from the pressures of day to day life - so cozy, peaceful and relaxing with everything we need and nice restaurants nearby. We can’t wait to return

Micky took us on a tour and told us heart warming stories how they adopted these animals. This was an “experience “ and not typical Airbnb accommodations! Highly recommend!

First, Hellene is a super kind soul. We got there late, but she stayed up to welcome us with a smile. The property itself is secluded and far enough away to escape light pollution, but close enough to visit Bourne. The hot tub right out the tree house was great after a long day. The stars set a break backdrop, but the colorful lights in the trees ad to the overall feel. Will definitely be back.

This home is a very special, hidden gem. Located on a large piece of land, it is surrounded by trees and walking trails, and completely private. You have your own area to sit under the trees and enjoy the beautiful weather. And is only a few minutes from downtown Boerne. The home itself is simply charming, with lot of interesting decorations and details. There is everything you need with a comfy bed and full kitchen and bathroom. And a loft upstairs with 2 more beds! We absolutely loved staying here.

Gorgeous place with a responsive and friendly host! Beds were comfortable and on the firm side. I like a soft mattress, but slept very well. The pillows and bedding were new. I appreciated the shoes off rule. The place was a little hard to find. You don’t actually take the turn on Thomas drive. The gate is right at the beginning of the street, more at a diagonal, almost before you turn. Very clean.

This space was cozy and peaceful. If you are looking to enjoy a country setting with easy access to Hill Country attractions, then this is your place!

I've been using AirBnB for over a decade and it is no joke to say that this was the best experience I've ever had. Abel was quick to respond, kind, and informative. The bathhouse was a literal dream. The kind with soft focus lenses, ambient string quartets, and a discernable sense of safety and warmth. The stay has an almost treehouse vibe. Oso built it himself and he imparts an aesthetic that is , at once, patchwork yet cohesive. Oso also welcomed us into his home to see the museum like build of his own making. It felt like a room pulled straight out of Meow Wolf. Straight up , I hope the memory of me and my wife's first bath together is the last thing to pass before my eyes as I die. Alone, together, cradled by hot water, cool evening air above us, the warm and faint amber lighting, Miles Davis' "In a Silent Way" softly filling the room from the provided bluetooth speaker, aware of only the now and unburdened by the rest. We stayed at the Bin. It was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. It was about a 25 minute drive into Main Street. Jenny was very responsive and was extremely helpful. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Looking forward to our next stay!

The place was absolutely beautiful! The peacefulness and surroundings were nice, quiet and relaxing. The old tunnel road park was super easy to “hike” and the Alamo cafe was delicious!

The home is exactly as pictured! I loved that there were blackout curtains in the bedroom area and sheer curtains in the living room area. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful, and the sunsets and stars at night were nice. It was the perfect getaway! The property is about 25 minutes from downtown, but the views are totally worth it!
