This place was a truly a gem. Great yard to relax and get away from everything. Place had a comfortable and homie feel! It was clean and stocked with amenities. The location was perfect for me to explore the mid-coast area which is near and dear to me. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit the area. I throughly enjoyed my stay and would book again!

Lori’s is exactly what we need while visiting family over a holiday. She is very gracious to host us over Thanksgiving as the last occupants of the year. Even during a snow storm, her place is cosy and beautiful. This is our second year coming, and we love it every time. We would recommend it for those looking for a charming getaway from busy life. We had a wonderful stay at this quaint cabin in a very quiet wooded area just a few minutes from downtown boothbay harbor. The cabin was clean and organized and our host left detailed instructions and recommendations for multiple activities/restaurants in the area. Fireplace was great to have to complete our quiet calm weekend away. Perfect for 2 who want to get away, and be able to go exploring in a beautiful Maine town. We were staying in the area for a wedding, and had the best accommodations in comparison to the loud and overpriced hotel.

Charming little cottage on the lake! Had a lot of fun, easy to get to town and the lake was serene and peaceful. Great place to stay!

The cabin was exactly what I was looking for - private, perfect location, and traditional living. The sauna was absolutely amazing. It gets up to 210 degrees which is perfect and it’s right next to a creek to cool yourself off. Emily and Jason are awesome and I highly recommend this place!

Such an amazing private, quiet place with breathtaking views! If your one with nature then this is the place to go, from its off the grid living ( no power and no running water) then this is a palace! Wood stove heating that keep us toasty during the Valentines weekend storm of 2025! Will definitely be returning in the future!!

Came for the Fall colors; left in love with the place! Small but delightful. Cluttered in the most fantastical way. Nestled in paradise. Bonnie is so nice and friendly! Pay attention to the fact that the toilet is not attached to house. Short walk to privet and very clean!

It was a great stay. The space had everything my fiancé and I needed for during a ski trip. The campground is so beautiful and has so many amenities. Thank you for hosting us!

Un superbe endroit très paisible, parfait pour se relaxer et sortir du quotidien. La vue est incroyable, l’endroit très confortable. Vous pouvez aller à leur érablière et ça leur fera plaisir de vous faire visiter les installations et un bon litre de leur délicieux sirop d’érable en cadeau! Nous planifions y retourner tellement on a aimé l’endroit.

Our stay at 53 Shady Lane was fantastic! You wouldn’t even know that you’re in a residential neighborhood. Star studded skies at night gave way to sunny mornings and plenty of sun light inside. Will book again, was really nice being out of the busy city setting.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jon’s house. The location at a dead end road right on the river was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub and watching the ducks float by and other wildlife. The place was nicely decorated and was exactly what we were looking for. Can’t wait to return in the future.

My friend and I stayed here for our annual ice fishing trip and this location was great with all the beautiful bodies of water surrounding! Close to a handful of easy access points for ice fishing or for open water fishing. The home itself is cute and lovely with everything you’d need.

This Airbnb was amazing in every way! We especially enjoyed the views of the mountains, the decor, how clean it was, the trees decorated with lights outside, and all the personal touches. It was inviting, comfortable, and had everything we could think of including sleds! (There was a privacy screen to put between the beds which was an added bonus). The Moody Mt. Cottage was the perfect location for a cozy winter getaway to hike and relax. We highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed. Cait was a fantastic host and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was special. We are so grateful!

We had an amazing stay at Sam and Lavonne’s cozy cabin! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We loved playing board games, unwinding in the sauna, and sitting by the campfire under the stars. Their restaurant recommendations were spot on, adding to the overall experience. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with thoughtful touches, this is the perfect spot. We’d love to come back!

We felt like this was our second home from the moment we walked in. The kitchen had literally every tool you could need to prepare dinner. No need to order in or eat out. The shower was pleasant and surprisingly hot. The bed and pillows were very comfy and aided in very restful sleep. We loved the option of using the propane heat or the wood stove, though we opted for the wood stove to heat the place while we were there. Thank you so much Raina for letting us stay in your peaceful space. We would definitely love to visit again.

Perfect spot to get away and have some "me" time. Sat in front of the fireplace, read my book and got some work done. upstairs bed was extremely comfortable and happy to have a window to let some cool air in. site feels very remote but extremely close to shopping and other amamenities.

Katie’s great. Came back this year after wonderful stay last year. Katie’s very attentive to anything we needed. The place exactly as described. Sweet and very small town Maine. Rockland is a hidden jewel.

The cabin was very quaint and cozy for a snowy day. A quick walk to the lake and not too far from some cute shops and restaurants in Norway. Very responsive and friendly hosts. Incredibly clean and well maintained. Would stay again!

We had such an amazing, relaxing weekend at Summer Rose! The pictures don’t do it justice- it was truly beautiful inside and out. Inside was so thoughtfully decorated with beautiful furniture. We enjoyed walking the grounds and foraging for some early spring mushrooms, and relaxing in the private hot tub at night listening to the owls. Peter was very communicative, him and Toby have a knack for hosting. We are looking forward to staying again in the future!

I had a great experience! The space is lovely and fully appointed with everything I needed. The hot tub was great! And it was walking distance to several antique and coffee shops as well as restaurants and a delicious bagel spot!

At the Sparrow's nest, we nestled in immediately. This was by far the most beautiful and magical stay -EVER. The pictures are amazing but the space is even better in person. Every inch of this gorgeous place was gracefully designed and decorated. The beds were like sleeping upon a cloud in luxury sheets. The hosts were so friendly and fun to talk to. We found many things in common. They provided us with names of great local restaurants and things to see and do. I am already planning to go back again next year and probably the year after that!
