Had the best stay at Denise’s lodge. Denise was very helpful and responsive with any questions I had. The hot tub was amazing, the area in which the lodge is based is very private. We were even welcomed with some gifts she had left for us and provided plenty of snacks which was just above and beyond what we expected. She even put a birthday banner up as it was my birthday just to make it feel that more special. The lodge book was very helpful providing us information about local shops, restaurants/takeaways and things to do around the area. Overall was a very positive stay with a brilliant host. Amazing weekend away, the hot tub was clean and lovely. Cabin was really tidy & clean (great colour combo and perfect minimalistic additions like the plants & bathroom shelf details). I liked the fact they had leaflets of things to do near by too. Scott and Laura were always available if we needed anything and were so helpful and friendly. Such a peaceful getaway. Great food at the local pub too. Highly recommend this cabin! :)

A wonderful stay! Peaceful location next to a footpath leading to lovely forest walks. Spotlessly clean. We enjoyed stargazing in the hot tub and watching the birds at the feeders. Lots to do within a short drive (we even spotted wild boar at the nearby Nagshead nature reserve!). Thank you for hosting us :)

Me and my partner stayed at ruby's retreat for our anniversary. We absolutely loved it! It was so cosy and private and we loved sitting outside with the fire on and having a bbq! Andrew was very helpful and showed us around when we arrived and answered any queries via text very quickly. It was in a great location (just under 20 minutes from Bath!) Thank you so much, would definitely come back!

Myself and my boyfriend had a brilliant time staying in the Swan Pod. We had only booked for 3 nights but I definitely didn’t want to go home. It was easy to find and even easier to check in which is what I was hoping for. The lake is beautiful and the animals were just a bonus, I would definitely recommend if you want a nice, peaceful getaway for a few days.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary & absolutely loved everything from start to finish. The accommodation was spotless & the hot-tub was amazing & so relaxing

We had a wonderful time celebrating my wife’s Birthday at Duncan and Jackie’s beautiful cabin. The cabin was an ideal size for the two of us and our dog! Situated on their small farm with plenty of space for the dog to run around carefree and enjoy herself, it was ideal for us all. We loved how cozy and homely the cabin felt and its location was so peaceful, the log burner was a lovely touch too, perfect for the chilly evenings this time of year. Also a thoughtful birthday treat from Duncan and Jackie, a tasty cake and birthday card gave a fabulously personal touch to the visit. It was never too much trouble for them to provide plenty of recommendations for local places to visit, for food or must see locations. We particularly enjoyed our meal at their local pub The Bathurst Arms upon Duncan’s suggestion. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit at The Summerhouse Cottage and would definitely return again when in the Cotswolds.

Marcella was very informative, friendly, responsive and helpful from start to finish for our stay. Although we unfortunately got caught up in storm Bert’s arrival, it did not stop us having a lovely time in the cabin as well as using Marcellas kind recommendations for our time in the town and having a bite to eat. The amenities were exactly as described and we had everything we needed for our stay. Would absolutely come back in the summer when the weather is better. Thanks again!

My second stay with Sandy and I loved this place again. If I did t already have someone I use regularly to stay with in Bristol, he would be my first choice. Very considerately for this stay Sandy had opened up for me and put the heating up (it was a very cold night!). This was lovely to arrive to after a long journey. It’s such a great place (see previous review) and I want to come back again asap.

This is such a wonderful quiet place, the accommodation is brilliant with the pods over looking a valley vacated by sheep, goats, highland cows and alpaca. The surroundings offer loads of walks and you are so close to all the highlights the Cotswolds has to offer. The staff are very friendly and assist when / if needed.

Myself, my husband and my 2 boys had a lovely overnight stay in Anne’s ‘Little House’. Anne gave us a wonderful welcome, detailing all the things we needed to know about the house and area. She was super lovely with our boys- it’s the little things like remembering names and ages of your hosts and the reasons why they are visiting you. The Little House is much more spacious than what I thought when looking at the pictures. Lovely decor, nice shower and everything was clean and tidy- also very comfortable! Anne was also very accommodating towards our dog. We didn’t think to bring a dog bed and Anne came as if like magic with one, for our dog use during our stay. All in all The Little House is a lovely place to stay and we will be coming back in the summer time. Thank you again Anne!

I was very happy to return to the Shed for a second stay and it was as comfortable and spacious as I remembered. I was able to feel immediately relaxed and at home. Steve has made some thoughtful improvements including more fridge/freezer space in the kitchen. On this visit I was able to explore the fabulous outdoor space with my dog in the beautiful spring sunshine. This is a magical fairytale setting and I hope to have a reason to return again soon.

I stayed here because I’m overseeing a project nearby. These charming shepherd hut/wooden cabins were truly a delightful experience. The cabin itself was beautifully designed and well-equipped, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that made each moment special. Watching the sunset each evening was a highlight , and I found that it could be a peaceful and rejuvenating place to visit. Thanks to Tom for his hospitality and for providing such a wonderful stayover . I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway.

We had an absolutely incredible time at the chalet. It’s perfectly located inside a beautiful garden where you wake up to the sound of wildlife and peaceful running water. I feel truly rested, body and soul from staying there! The location is fantastic, right on the slope of Glastonbury tor, making it perfect for watching the sunset on the tor and then wandering back for a cozy evening. The chalet interior is very comfortable and well appointed and makes a really good use of the small space. Incredible views over the Somerset levels and a gorgeous outside area with cute wooden day bed right outside the door and seating area below. Pia was a very responsive host; proactive with sending detailed instructions on how to find and access the property, checked in over messages on the first morning to make sure everything was ok, and was very friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again, no hesitation! A 10/10 property on all fronts for us!

Maxine and Rob are amazing hosts that were more than happy to explain everything that you could need to know about the accommodation, and also went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a lovely stay. The accommodation was lovely and clean and well kitted out with some very useful additions including an air fryer. The hot tub was lovely and warm on arrival and spotlessly clean too. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Brilliant stay! Ivan's place was spotless, peaceful and the perfect place to explore the Forest of Dean. As a family of 5 with 3 energenic boys this was just perfect! Ivan supplied plenty of wood for our stay and was extremely helpful with storing our bikes and helping with queries about the local area! Would highly recommend and we will be returning for sure!

Thank you Helen and Barry for the welcoming and hassle free check in. I used the property for a one night stay. The location is walkable from the train station in town, which has many cafes and restaurants. My instructions were clear regarding the check-in process and I immediately felt at home. Temperatures outside were quite cool, but I was warm enough inside the property and the bed was really big and comfortable. The hosts left me a few extras, milk, tea bags etc. which was a nice touch. There is a small fridge. The area was very quiet, and slept very well. Plates and cutlery were provided for me to have breakfast, no problem. Everything was spotlessly clean, including the bathroom which had a nice spacious shower with good water pressure. I would be more than happy to recommend Helen and Barry's place to anyone wishing to stay in the area. Thank you again.

If we could give Fiona and “The Log Cabin 10 stars out of 5 we definitely would! She was always responsive and proactive and took care of every detail which, made us feel really comfortable. The milk in the fridge, tea and coffee as well as the shortbread was such a nice treat! We identified a really small problem close to the end of our 5 day stay and Fiona communicated immediately and dealt with it straight away. We arrived after dark and Fiona’s directions helped immensely and we found the location without any problem. Still, I would recommend getting there while it is light to make things just a wee bit easier. Fantastic location but is for those with access to a vehicle. We would DEFINITELY stay again!

We were blown away by this stunning cabin. The height of modern luxury. Spacious and very comfy with a fabulous log burner and super comfy lounger sofa. Spacious kitchen with quality appliances. No expense spared here with everything top notch. Superb shower. We really enjoyed our stay here. Vix was really friendly and helpful and the place was spotlessly clean and maintained to the highest standards. Large fridge and large freezer. By far the comfiest accomodation I have stayed in for years. I would highly recommend.
