What an absolute gem of a little getaway, Fiona is a great host and the shepherds hut is absolutely perfect for what we needed. The addition of homemade bread, milk, butter and jam in the fridge is such a lovely and thoughtful touch. Nothing will prepare you for how big and relaxing the hot tub is, we absolutely loved sitting in it and listening to the wildlife. The hut is really private and has its own little garden, we had breakfast lunch and dinner outside as we were so lucky with the weather! We will absolutely be back, thank you for having us!

The pictures really don't do it justice. We had an amazing time and there's so much around the area to see, we've not even scratched the surface. We'll definitely be coming back.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Our dogs absolutely loved the space and it was perfect for them to really stretch their legs. The cabin was super cozy, we stayed during a bit of a temperature drop so it was around -3 at night but the log burner was so warm we didn't even need a jumper on! Along with the temperature drop came some snow and we actually ended up getting stuck on the hill on toward the entrance but Mark answered his phone immediately and rushed down in his Land Rover to give us a tow up and nothing was too much to ask, we felt super accommodated. Thanks again :)

We booked this lovely place on a whim and without much research because the photos looked nice. It did not disappoint, the setting was lovely, it was in a secluded bit of the garden but felt very private with a nice outlook. The hut was cleverly designed and very cosy. Sitting on the front porch with a cup of tea was wonderfully tranquil. The best part of the trip was the evening meal prepared by Sarah (at a small extra cost). She set this up for us in the summer house and it was as delicious as the setting was perfect. We only stayed one night and we were permitted to leave our car on the driveway whilst we explored the local area. We went for a stroll in the local woods and fields, the secluded nature of the village suited us very well. Highly recommended for a romantic mini-break. Thank you so much to Sarah and Frank.

What a fantastic oasis of tranquility to visit. Terry and Jenny are excellent hosts and could not do more for you. The huts were all styled beautifully and were spotlessly clean. The attention to detail is fantastic and Jenny has thought of everything. Sitting by the firepit at night, with a glass in hand listening to the owls was priceless. Florence, Hector and the dogs were just an added bonus. We will definitely return.

We loved our stay at Katie & Anna’s Shepherds hut. The orchard was lovely to sit in during the light evenings & the hut was clean and cosy.

Great little space in a lovely location. Peaceful and plenty of nature. Accommodation and bathrooms very clean and all the little extras you might need. Would definitely stay again.

The location is a beautiful private field and the shepherd huts have everything you need for an amazing getaway. My son loved having a shepherd hut to himself and the pigs and goats close by were a bonus. The BBQ hut is a fantastic experience and a lovely way to cook together. All of the huts were very clean and had all cooking utensils & resources needed, plus extra thoughtful touches. We loved our stay so much.

Had a great weekend at Serena’s hut! Great communication from her with fab recommendations- the potting shed pub is gorgeous! No signal in the hut and little insulation but wood for the fire is provided and lots of blankets. Gorgeous location, thanks so much

We had a lovely weekend in this Shepard’s Hut. It’s in a great location and was very dog friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Great place for a retreat, well tucked away great views of the countryside and Bristol in the distance. A welcome pack of Bread, butter, home made cake, bacon eggs and sausages. The hot tub was fantastic. Park and ride to bath 5 min. Can’t recommend it enough great felt so chilled out staying here.

Booked for a weekend stay with my wife, lovely shepards hut, lovingly looked after in a great location. We went out to walk in the area and came back to watch the sun set. Carrie was very welcoming and accommodating, and the restaurants food was great. Had lunch and dinner there and was very impressed. Wood to burn on the log burner was also appreciated. Breakfast basket delivered in the morning was cherry on the cake - eating while watching the river. Really nice!

We booked both Shepard’s huts to stay with family. They were spotlessly clean, the kids loved the wood pile and we made use of the BBQ / fire pit. Thanks for a lovely stay, we’ll be back

We had the best time. The location was absolutely amazing, so beautiful and remote, and also very near to lots of beautiful towns and villages! There is also a lovely farm shop and cafe round the corner. The sunset you can see from the Shepherd's hut is also stunning. The accommodation itself was everything we wanted - cosy, warm and clean. Beverley‘s little Shepherd‘s Hut was the most beautiful getaway for our weekend away. It was extremely cosy and warm and had all you need. Beverley was a great host, very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend for those looking for a cute and cosy spot whilst exploring the surrounding area!

Wow what a special place. Dreamy hot tub and outdoor fire. The hut is decorated like a luxury hotel, lots of small special touches - fire wood to make a fire; board games to play, bath robes and slippers. We had the truly magical two nights away - perfect for some romantic time. We nipped into Wells on Saturday for the market (bus/car less than 10 mins) picked up lots of treats then enjoyed a lazy Saturday evening back at the hut under the stars. Lou was fantastic host, she helped set up the hut for my girlfriend’s birthday before we arrived which was incredibly kind and much appreciated.

We had an amazing time staying in Emily's shepherds hut. The hut itself was beautiful inside and really cosy but still plenty spacious enough for two people. The swan pub was a great recommendation for food and drink and was only a 20 second walk away, perfect for stumbling back to the comfy bed in the hut after a few.

perfect stay, a peaceful location to use as a bed. one of the wonderful finds where our hosts provided everything we needed. it's those touches that put this above a lot of other airbnbs we've stayed in.

My partner and I had the most incredible stay, we cooked on an open fire, surrounded by beautiful wildlife and bathed in the hot tub looking at the stars. Angela was an amazing host, the place was perfectly described and no stone was left unturned. We did take a stroll to 2 of the local pubs and ate at one of them on our second night but we were looking for rural, peaceful and private and the hut delivered all that and more. We took a stroll after check out to stour head as per Martyn’s recommendation and it was beautiful. We fully intend to return sometime in the future. Thanks again to Angela & Martyn for being fabulous hosts.

From booking until check out, everything was perfect! Janine was a fantastic host. Full of great advice on walks, where to eat and clear instructions on check in. There were also great instructions in the hut for every single appliance which made our stay stress free! The hut was very comfortable, warm and cozy, and the jacuzzi was just what was needed after a long day exploring and views to die for. Beautiful location ❤️

The location was idyllic and the Shepherds Hut a peaceful, beautifully presented place to stay. It was a cosy, warm, well equipped hut, which just aired class. The fixtures and fittings were quality and the bed extremely comfortable looking out across the field and the hills beyond. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and meant you didnt need to go shopping for breakfast or an evening tipple. Lots of beautiful walks on your door step and the centre of the village 0.69 miles away to the local pub. We genuinely cannot fault the shepherds hut one bit. Just a relaxing place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We recommend 100%.

A fabulous peaceful and romantic bolt hole - beautifully furnished, very comfortable. Great welcome hamper, much appreciated. Just the right level of extremely helpful and friendly service and lots of peace and quiet. Having to make the fire (all beautifully pre-laid for us) and keep it going for the hot tub was fun and well worth it when we got in. The robes and slippers are a great touch. Will definitely be back.

A really wonderful hut with gorgeous views for wildlife spotting from your bed. Everything well equipped and a lovely touch to leave essential food and drink in the hut - that was greatly appreciated. It’s close to a charming village and great walks. We had an amazing time and will certainly return.
