This place was so cozy and perfect for our group! There are a total of 5 rooms which was plenty of space for my group. Our favorite was the three bedrooms with the master en-suite bathrooms attached (it was perfect for the older people in our group). And checkin was very easy and parking. We will return again in the future!

I had such a lovely stay at this unique top-floor Airbnb in Alameda! Nestled right by the lagoon, the location was peaceful and scenic, with gorgeous light filtering through the windows all day. The space had this wonderful artsy, hippy-aunt energy — full of character, cozy nooks, eclectic decor, and little touches that made it feel like a true home away from home. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down, breathe, and enjoy a good book or a walk by the water. Super comfortable, clean, and well-stocked with everything I needed. Alameda itself is a charming escape just outside the bustle of SF, and this spot was the perfect base for exploring. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something with heart and soul. I’d absolutely stay here again!

This place made us want to sell our home and move in. It was perfect, quaint, clean, had amazing amenities. The neighborhood was adorable, amazing views.... 10000000/10. Definitely stay here if you get the chance.

Dave was a great host who communicated well. His house was very clean and matched his photos and description exactly. The house was perfect for our needs and we had a great trip to the Bay Area. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay in Berkeley that’s within walking distance to some good restaurants and bars. Street parking was available but we did have to walk a few blocks. Though this is pretty expected in Berkeley and it was a Saturday night.

Great layout. Our family of 4 and dogs were very comfortable here for 3 weeks when our kitchen was being remodeled. Backyard was great for kids and dogs. Neighborhood has everything you need within walking distance-coffee shops, restaurants etc. Very close to golden gate park for outdoor recreation.

Sunny’s place was a perfect home base for our stay in Berkeley. The location was incredibly convenient and the space was perfect for a family of 4.

We loved the house. Well located in San Rafael with lots of restaurants and parks nearby.

My family (parents, grandparents, and kids) stayed at this great waterfront home in March 2025. My kids loved the heated pool, hot tub, and kayak! We liked the well appointed kitchen and having lots of space to spread out across the five bedrooms. The only downside is that’s it’s a bit on the well used side and could use touch-ups here and there and one bedroom is a loft so we had to be aware of the noise level downstairs. That didn’t stop us from having a great time and using this as our jumping off point to the city (15-30 min depending on traffic) or North Bay for hiking, oysters, and wine.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage on Kristen’s beautiful property with our two kids and my parents. The cottage is beautifully appointed with a great sunny deck and very comfortable beds and linens. The property is amazing and we loved exploring the hiking trails and private beach and watching the sunrise. The kids also loved the trampoline. The house is in a very private location but it’s just a short drive to downtown Tiburon, which has lots of charming restaurants and stores. Kristen and Athena were wonderful hosts - very welcoming and responsive.

The house for our needs perfectly and Noel was helpful when we let him know of a couple small issues. The kitchen was perfect for our family dinners together so we didn’t have to worry about eating out each meal.

Gorgeous setting, spacious, well appointed. Great space with views of redwoods throughout. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. They really thought of everything when setting up this place. The trails across the street are phenomenal, as are the neighborhood views. The village is a 5 min drive and one of my favorite little east bay pockets. We hope to return!

Nelson’s place was very nice, and was one of few places available with a pool, in a reasonable and competitive price range. Although they were dated and showing some wear, the furnishings were comfortable, and the space was adequately equipped to prepare and serve meals. The location was convenient, felt safe and offered great views. We enjoyed our time here and felt that the price fairly represented the space, reasonable, comfortable, safe, and fun.

Nestled on a hill and behind a gate, The Casita is a world away from the ordinary. Beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches and many amenities to ensure the comfort of each guest. We enjoyed being able to park and unload our gear right at the door - no steps. The kitchen has the essentials and more, all tidy and easy to find. The informative binder with local tourism bits, safety information, etc. was especially well put together. Bedding was clean and fresh, towels thirsty and large. We did use the washer-dryer, which was great since we had been on the road and needed it. We especially treasured being able to watch the twinkling city lights from the patio perch. When it was time to go, we definitely sighed with reluctance. It was not easy to leave such a lovely place with such a kindly and proactive host offering the most peaceful and pleasant of stays.

Excellent place. First class all the way. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Stephen's place. It was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. It is in a walkable area with easy access to restaurants and shops. Our kids (ages 6 and 3) loved staying in the trundle bed. And Stephen was proactive in providing helpful instructions and was easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Alameda.

We enjoyed our stay at Mel’s place! Short walk to the beach. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen came equipped with everything you might need to cook. Mel was very responsive to any questions we had. Nice place to stay while visiting the area!

It’s a very private abode even though you share a gated entrance with the owner. Barry couldn’t have been friendlier and had a great spirt about him. We nerded out on landscaping, tiny homes, and rivers. He sold me on giving the American River some of my time this year. I’d absolutely stay here again. The only real issue was the effort to climb down a ladder half awake. I did it in the dark so I wouldn’t lose my cat eyes and wake up too fast. There’s plenty of outside lounging areas and the views are pretty. I had a decent view of the night sky to the east and above. The town may be busy but you’re perched hillside under some great live oaks. The neighborhood was full of quiet families and quirky houses that are truly Marin County in nature. Open space trails are just uphill and the town is just down. It’s very convenient to everything.

This was definitely the best airbnb I've found in the area! The space was private and comfortable. Plenty of clean towels, toilet paper, and paper towels (a surprising annoyance of mine with stays other places!). Responsive host. Helpful instructions. Felt right at home in the space. Clean and tidy. Comfy bed, pillows (actually 4 of them, thank you!), and overall temperature of the apartment. Easy check-in and check-out. One thing to note is that it is conveniently located across from bart station, so there is some noise associated with that, but you ARE in the city, so there's that. It didn't really bother me, just something to note if you're a light sleeper (but the bed was so comfy, it didn't phase me much!). I stayed for 12 days, and it was perfect for my needs. I would definitely stay again! Thank you!!

Janette was a great host! This place was a great get away for the weekend. Host was responsive and the place felt private. We brought our dog and she loved it as well. Clean space with great amenities, would definitely stay here again.
