The barn was beautifully situated and very peaceful. We loved the family dogs and cats coming to visit us. The barn is right on the Cuckoo trail and so we enjoyed walking along enjoying the spring sunshine . A really lovely pub in Old Heathfield called The Star Inn is definitely worth a visit, it's warm, cosy and very friendly. The food was delicious so well worth the short walk from the barn. A couple of nights in this beautiful setting was just perfect.

We had a lovely few days in this beautiful Oast House. The accommodation is exceptionally well equipped and Charlotte’s taste in decor is impeccable. Everything provided was top quality and there were notes on everything to do with the house plus lots of suggestions and recommendations for local walks, meals out and day trips. The Oast House was simply a delight to stay in!

Cannot recommend enough - had a fantastic stay, Vivienne was so helpful and responsive, often checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. Overall, had a fantastic stay and was well looked after. Beautiful surroundings, even in cold wet Feb. Plenty of wildlife, chickens, ducks and guinea fowl to admire out the window!

Jane kindly messaged us to say the barn was ready which was before the stated check in, this was really helpful. The barn was located in a beautiful area with walks from the doorstep, the local village of Penshurst is very pretty with a great pub the Leicester Arms. The barn had everything we need and a lovely courtyard garden which we sat out in each evening as the weather was good. A great property and would definitely return. Thank you!

Just came back from a weekend stay at Alice and Alan's place. We were welcomed at the gate by Alan and were instantly made to feel right at home. The place was cosy, spotless and well appointed with beautiful surroundings. There's a large pond on the property which is a perfect place to have your morning tea and there are plenty of beautiful walks in the surrounding area. Alice and Alan were excellent hosts - friendly, responsive and accessible if we had any queries. I'd highly recommend for a weekend getaway and would definitely consider coming back.

My daughter, myself and her little dog stayed for 4 nights mid March. The lodge is in a perfect location, surrounded by fields and so peaceful. We were so lucky to arrive in the lambing season and it was such a joy to wake each morning to new born lambs in the field, right outside the lodge. In addition, their two cows were also there to greet us each morning, along with the pair of guinea fowl, who were just hysterical to watch! The lodge itself is decorated so beautifully, is comfy, clean and the beds amazing. All in all one of the best Airbnb experiences, it was beyond our expectations. Thank you for a wonderful few days, we loved it 🥰

We took my wife’s parents for a weekend away,not too far from home, but out in the Kent countryside. The barn was as described and as shown in the pictures. The instructions to find and access the property were clear and accurate. The barn is very warm, which was nice as travelling with elderly parents. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. There is a nice kitchen which we only used for breakfast but there was everything available if you wanted to bring food and cook. There are plenty of DVD’s, books and local information available if you wanted to read or the weather is bad and you stay in. This is the perfect space for 4 people with two bedrooms both of which are en-suite. Parking is right next to the building and it’s easy to get to local attractions. Perfect stay even if the weather was freezing cold. Thank you.

This stay was lovely, great for the price, very clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and contactable. We would definitely recommend and return if in the area again.

Perfect space for a relaxing few days with the young family with the coast and Kent attractions all in easy reach. The place is well kitted out and very cosy so perfect for a winter break. Lisa welcomed and was in contact with helpful tips throughout. Would recommend

Fabulous location and the place had everything we needed. It wasn’t just dog friendly, it was perfect for a little dog to stay.

6 of us stayed for one night and brought 2 dogs with us. We had a fantastic stay. Beautiful surroundings, comfortable place to stay, very nice hot tub and an amazing farm shop nearby! We ordered pizza from there that was unreal.

Very happy with our choice of the Cottage, very close to our own properties , so more than likely we will try and stay there again not because what i just said but its so peaceful as well and that is very important to us as a family, it also contained all and more desirable amenities you need. Perhaps if there is something I would add to the cottage service I personally would in a hot day of a guest arriving,( like us) I would make sure to leave the windows upstairs open to create a cooler ambience . When we arrived ( end of the day) it was just like in Dubai -) very hot! Many thanks

We had a fantastic stay in the beautiful Sussex countryside. The accommodation was perfect for our family, our toddler loved the horses and friendly dogs. Nick and Nicole were super hosts and we appreciated extras like a welcome hamper and dressing gowns. Although the weather was cold and wet, the cottage was very warm and cosy: a real home from home! would definitely recommend and love to come back sometime!

We had a fabulous couple of nights at the Cow Shed, the instructions Caroline left were really clear and made the place very easy to find. Comfy bed, cosy fireplace and everything we needed for a lovely weekend away. The location was great, a 5-minute drive to the Pantiles and some tasty recommendations in the guest book. Thank you!

A very peaceful location, Charlie very kindly allowed an early check-in which helped with your travel plans. We walked into a warm home, clean and quaintly decorated, that was both inviting and relaxing. Charlie also ensured we were supplied with some delicious essentials! Can't recommend this location enough.

Sandras home was wonderful. The home is absolutely stunning with lots of space for everyone. The space was clean and inviting and amazing for hosting our family getaway. Sandra gracefully allowed our Dog to stay in her home and he loved it. The best part was the cows which greet you at the fence at the back of the home every other day. A wonderful home which was even better than described.

I stayed at Andrew's place for a week with my husband and 3 year old son and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The open kitchen/lounge area works well with young children. The wood burner had a sturdy safety gate and all plug sockets had protective covers. It's well placed for visiting the local area. Plenty of national trust properties nearby and we drove the Heart of Kent route one day. Port Lympe zoo is also brilliant. Unfortunately, our son became ill during our stay so we had to cut our stay short by a couple of days. Despite that, my son hasn't stopped talking about our stay at Long Stable and will be booking a return stay in the near future. Marie, Oli and Alfie.

This property is outstanding. It's set in the beautiful Kent countryside but not far from anywhere. It's extremely well-equipped, very modern inside. It's warm and very comfortable. Sharron is a great host; very accommodating, helpful and kind. Just the best. We go to the UK from Canada every year to see my cousin who lives nearby and we will definitely be asking Sharron if we can stay here again in future years.

Myself and my family stayed at this air BnB and we have stayed in a fair few over the years, and without a doubt this has been our favourite. It was so clean, it was really homely and checking in was a breeze. We were left a welcome pack which was really thoughtful. There was everything you needed and more. Thank you for a great stay we really loved it.
