Really enjoyed our weekend away, great communication from the start. Quite and quirky cottage, so peaceful even though it's on a road, this wasn't a problem for us.. The hot tub was amazing.. A great extra to the weekend...☺️☺️

A fabulous place! Peaceful and private. The surroundings were stunning and the accommodation was spacious and very special. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym were excellent and very clean and the games room impressive. We had an amazing few days.

Had the loveliest stay at Larissa’s place on her gorgeous land. The place was perfect, had everything we needed and was presented amazingly, the garden was beautiful and we made good use of the hot tub. The animals were the cherry on top for us, the little lambs came to see us and we loved Prince Onion the cat whi came and introduced himself ☺️Perfect location as well for our shopping day at Ashford Designer Outlet. Thank you Larissa!☺️x

What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

We chose Aimee's place to stay as it looked a great place to chill out. The area is peaceful, you are in a beautiful garden, hot tub, plenty of space and privacy to relax. Aimee is really easy to speak to and very helpful with any questions you have and also has information in the table for you if you fancy different days out. You have everything you need in the kitchen if you want to cook including a BBQ in the garden. The bed is really comfy, I loved the double doors we could open in the morning. We had a brilliant time and will be back hopefully next year.

A tranquil and peaceful little spot perfect for a couples getaway. We did some hiking up towards the coastline and took a trip to the lovely Canterbury City which is a short drive away. Overall a great weekend away and highly recommended.

I booked to stay at the cottage for my husband's birthday and it didn't disappoint. The communication between myself and Tim & Maite was great. They were always responsive and super helpful. The photos of the house don't do it justice. It’s such a lovely area and although you may see the occasional walker in the distance, you feel like your'e in the middle of nowehere. The hot tub was a great addition to the property, especially since the pool at the house was not available due to it being out of season and super cold, as explained prior to our arrival. We ( and the kids) loved the house, loved the fire, loved the hot tub, loved the games, We played the family edition of Cards Against Humanity and it was just a lovely relaxing family weekend away without computer games - it was bliss. The perfect setting and in my husbands words - it was the perfect find! Thank you so much to Tim and Maite for such a wonderful stay.

We had an amazing break at Peter & Karen’s place. The cabin is perfect, we were so comfortable! Peter is brilliant with communication, really helpful and friendly. Everything is just like in the pictures. The place is in a great state of repair, everything works perfectly. In the kitchen there’s a fridge, a dishwasher and a full electric hob with oven. The shower is great, loved the rainfall shower. The linen all smelled gorgeous and the bed was so big and comfortable, we had the best sleep. The pillows and duvet were perfect, so comfy! The wood burner was brilliant and gave such a lovely setting! I loved sitting on our patio surrounded by the gorgeous countryside, soaking us the sun! The jacuzzi was amazing, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool too. We had a thoroughly relaxing time, great walks, really enjoyed every second of our much needed break! We would love to come back again!

We had a wonderful stay at Louise's cottage. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location was perfect, great walks and close to two beaches which the dogs loved. Louise was a great host, very helpful and friendly, made us feel very welcome. We highly recommend staying here and would love to come back in the future.

We loved our stay at the cottage! We were 7 people total and found the cottage to be big enough for us all. Really loved the kitchen area and back patio area for gathering, playing cards and making dinner. And the fireplaces made the kitchen and living room so cosy for movie nights. We walked into Rye from the cottage and also took taxis over to Camber Sands. It's such a peaceful and beautiful location, we loved watching the sheep in the pasture behind the house. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great and as described with a perfect location close to the sea front. Stephen was friendly and made us feel welcome upon arrival so it was easy to settle in and relax. A well deserved five stars!

We hadden 4 fantastische dagen in het huisje van Caroline. De kinderen waren heel gelukkig met de chocolaatjes en zelf was ik helemaal in de wolken met alle prachtige bloemen die werkelijk overal in het huis stonden! De locatie was zalig rustig en een goeie uitvalsbasis voor een aantal daguitstappen. We sliepen als roosjes in de comfortabele bedden en werden elke ochtend wakker met het gefluit van de vogeltjes. Het aanwezige ontbijt was de kers op de taart want zo konden we rustig aankomen zonder al direct te denken aan de volgende ochtend. We raden een verblijf dan ook zeker aan! 😊

Such a lovely location and fab cottage. We absolutely loved staying there over 3 nights. Lily thought of absolutely everything in order to make us feel comfortable so incredibly welcome! Would we stay there again? Yes in a heartbeat and will be back again for sure!

We would like to say a big thank you. We had a fantastic weekend stay at this property. The garden was 100% safe for our dog and we found it nice and quiet, surrounded by nature and orchards. Mark had left lots of leaflets showing what's going on in the area, and was very kind to recommend places to visit and eat/drink. The accommodation was designed and decorated with alot of thought and attention to detail, to establish a very comfortable stay. We will certainly be visiting again.

Dani's place is stunning, the beach was less than a 5 minute walk, its peacefu, quiet and such a stunning area. The house was spotless and looked just like the pictures, everything you need for a trip away. Felt like home. Dani was super helpful and quick to respond. I visiting Dani's house by myself and my dog, and i was spoilt for room. Its suitable for the whole family :)

The Beach Boutique is the cosiest and perfect place to stay if you’re looking for something in this part of the world. There was everything you could ever need and of the highest quality too. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed somewhere where they really had thought of everything for such a comfortable stay! It was only a short drive from the lovely Rye and other local beauty spots. Would highly recommend!

I had a weekend away for myself and it was just what i needed, the bath was fantastic and a nice comfy bed - I would recommend and I will also be booking again Jules was a great host, her patience with me being terrible with directions was fabulous - thanks again

A lovely few days at Hazel cottage. The cottage was clean, light, very peaceful and it had everything we needed to make it a home from home. We enjoyed a couple of evening meals in the garden, some lovely walks along the North Downs Way with some very nice lunches at pubs along the way. I felt very comfortable allowing my dog to roam around the garden, which was very secure - he met his first hedgehog there l. Claudia and her partner were very friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back.

Fischer’s cottage is a wonderfully tranquil getaway in a beautiful part of Kent. The cottage was very comfortable, with everything we needed in the kitchen and a magnificent wood burning stove in the living room to keep us cosy on a slightly chilly Summer evening. The garden was a delight and allowed our two-year old daughter a great space to play. We even made use of the BBQ and outdoor wood-burning stove. D was so helpful with directions, recommendations of where to visit and which pubs and restaurants to eat at. We would certainly come back again.

Lovely weekend at Long Stable. Andrew welcomed us very warmly, ensuring we were settled in once we arrived. Beautiful location, secluded, peaceful and incredibly quiet. Hard to access without a car, but perfect if you want to get away from it all. The barn itself was bright and clean, and the underfloor heating gave a nice ambient warmth. Lighting the wood burner made things really warm - wood, kindling and eco-friendly fire lighters were all provided with clear operating instructions. Bedrooms were comfortable, located at either end of the barn, with bathrooms next door. French doors from every room open out onto a sunny patio with uninterrupted views of surrounding countryside. Kitchen was well equipped and we found it very homely to eat in. Good base for exploring local area. Hastings 30 mins. Farleys House & Gallery (30 mins), a personal highlight, along with Michelham Priory (which you can do in one day with a bit of planning). Great host + lovely location = wonderful weekend.

We had a lovely stay at Jo's place in Kent. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The best part was the wonderful large windows with a beautiful view across the farm fields! The kitchen was very well-stocked, and it was great to be able to easily cook most of our meals.

Just home from a fantastic couple of days, insisting her. The cottage was perfect for us, wonderfully decorated and fully equipped for all our needs. Really peaceful and homely. On arrival gifts was a lovely touch as well as fresh flowers displayed. Thoroughly recommend staying here. The bonus was the pub was staggering distance with a great restaurant. Jackie was very helpful throughout.

Totally reccommend for a quiet gateway. beutiful and pieceful location, many local farms and shops. Romy made us feel welcome and looked after us from start to finish. Every reccommendation of hers was a trully good experience to remember. Very open minded, easygoing and accomodating.

Lovely place in a wonderful location. The host was very quick to respond to any queries and all recommendations in the welcome pack were good. My only comment as a parent of young kids is a microwave would have been handy addition to the otherwise well stocked kitchen . Be aware of Margate being very quiet on Mondays ! Many shops / restaurants and Turner art museum is closed !
