The Stable is delightful - had everything we needed and we loved the furnishings. An easy walk along the lanes to the nearby pub (under new management) for supper, and a great location for exploring Romney Marsh, Dungeness, Camber Sands and Rye. We really enjoyed the quiet and the birds, especially when we sat outside in the evening. Sally was kind and communicative. Highly recommended.

What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

Spacious accommodation with nice views. We were given clear instructions and met on arrival. The fireplace Waa an added bonus. Not far from the Spa Valley railway and other attractions. Recommend for a weekend away or even a longer stay.

Beautiful little home! Should have taken the 'tiny home' title seriously as it was a lovely micro home. Cecilia kindly allowed us to bring out Cat and she also loved the stay, especially the heated floors! Got lost on the way but rang Cecilia and she quickly helped us find the correct place. so comfy, loved the towel robes, stunning area and fantastic price.

Lovely 2 storey barn in wonderful location, particularly if you like to walk. Hosts were super friendly and helpful, great with local recommendations and Aidan even offered to pick us up after 1 particularly long walk 🤣 Our dog absolutely loved making friends with their dogs. Hot tub was amazing and really put the cherry on the cake. wonderful weekend, looking forward to returning Joe, Marie and Reggie

We had a wonderful quiet few days spent chatting and enjoying the beautiful surroundings the area had to offer. For a quiet getaway I could not recommend enough.

Just came back from a weekend stay at Alice and Alan's place. We were welcomed at the gate by Alan and were instantly made to feel right at home. The place was cosy, spotless and well appointed with beautiful surroundings. There's a large pond on the property which is a perfect place to have your morning tea and there are plenty of beautiful walks in the surrounding area. Alice and Alan were excellent hosts - friendly, responsive and accessible if we had any queries. I'd highly recommend for a weekend getaway and would definitely consider coming back.

A cute lodge set amid the vast countryside. Calm and tranquil yet close to the bustling town of Rye and Camber Sands! Couldn’t have asked for more, especially on our trip where we had e does sun and lambs bouncing around at our doorstep! Lovely little break, would highly recommend

If you’re reading this review and considering making a reservation, stop scrolling, don’t bother looking at other properties and just book Painters Forstal. The house has been there for 478 years at time of writing this and on our trip here we’ve created more life long family memories that add to this incredible historic and amazing home. We had a lovely stay at Judins cottage. A beautiful, cosy, private cottage located in an idyllic setting with stunning views of the Sussex countryside. Ideally located, with easy access to national trust walks and historic properties. Sarah is a great host. Her thought and care to meet the needs of her guests including furry friends, is evident in the thoughtful touches throughout the cottage. I would whole heartedly recommend a stay at Judins.

If you’re a creature of comfort, and enjoy relaxing in peaceful surroundings, then this is the perfect place. Set far from the main road on a farm, we felt in an oasis of serenity. The cottage was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. The hot tub and pool were ready for us and easily accessible, there were fresh hens eggs and marmalade left for us by Jane, and a small jar of fish food for the wildlife in the adjacent stream. The bathroom was stocked with essentials and towels, and the bed was extremely comfortable with weighted blankets. The large bedroom windows let in a huge amount of light as well as providing a lovely view. As well as the plethora of board games and jigsaws in the cottage, the games room out front had a ping-pong / pool table and other activities. Jane was very helpful and checked we had everything that we needed, we were made to feel well taken care of. With plenty of things to do and nature around us in every direction, we’ll definitely be repeat visitors.

This was our second stay at Weald Lodge and it was just as great as the first time we visited. The Lodge is comfortable and clean, and has everything you need for a peaceful getaway in the country. We went for a walk and had a drink at the George and Dragon at Tudeley, which is a lovely little pub and we also had supper at the Poacher and Partridge, which we would highly recommend - both of these are within a 10 minute drive from the Lodge. A great weekend was had here - 10/10.

We had a fantastic stay at The Pool Shed - would 10/10 recommend! Toby & Kate were brilliant hosts - super friendly, responsive and gave lots of local recommendations. The barn was absolutely stunning and we particularly loved the flapjack that Kate baked for our arrival. The local area is stunning with lots to do, some beautiful walks and great restaurants. We ate at The Poet and it was one of the best meals ever. Fantastic air bnb and we’d love to come back soon!

We had a fantastic stay in the beautiful Sussex countryside. The accommodation was perfect for our family, our toddler loved the horses and friendly dogs. Nick and Nicole were super hosts and we appreciated extras like a welcome hamper and dressing gowns. Although the weather was cold and wet, the cottage was very warm and cosy: a real home from home! would definitely recommend and love to come back sometime!

The cottage was very lovely and cosy, we felt at home! It was very tidy and clean. The garden is also lovely and has a nice view on the fields and horse. Ann and Bob are very friendly and interested in their guests, but respected our privacy as well. They also gave usefull information about things to do, where to park etc. We would recommend this cottage! The low ceilings might be a bit of a challenge to taller people, nevertheless they also contribute to it's charm. We had a lovely week!

This is a lovely place to stay. The cabin is clean, well equipped and spacious. We all enjoyed relaxing by the wood fire. Communication with Sarissa and check-in was straightforward. We appreciated the folder full of information about the local area and things to do/places to eat.

The place is actually even better than the pictures portray, every detail is thought about, every item is unique and perfect for the aesthetic… it MUST have been set up by an interior designer! The space was secluded, quiet, comfortable, perfect for our family stay with two little kids, a dishwasher and washing machine provided certainly helped and the fresh milk, butter and eggs were a real extra touch treat. The host was perfectly attentive and thoughtful and made everything easy and clear for us. If you’re looking for a rural feeling escape with an adorable and lush aesthetic, set amongst the beautiful Kentish landscapes don’t hesitate.

We loved our stay at Roni’s Oast House. We were made to feel welcome and had everything we needed in the house. When a taxi let us down, Martin came to the rescue. Roni even left us some party supplies. Couldn’t have asked for anything better, thank you for having us.

A wonderful weekend stay! The barn totally exceeded our expectations - it was so quaint and cosy and quiet. The provision of breakfast items (including freshly baked bread) was a real bonus too. We had a lovely time exploring the local area with our young kids - there were so many things to do! We visited Hever Castle, Emmett’s Garden and Chiddingstone.

We had an amazing time staying in the hobbit house, our daughter loved it so much and would love to visit again! The children also loved making friends with the dog!

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was lovely and Christopher is a wonderful host.
