Had an amazing time at Wings Wildlife Park! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and I loved getting up close with the animals. The park is well-maintained and offers a great experience for animal lovers. Highly recommend a visit!

Great place to relax and smell the roses. The large bedroom upstairs was perfect, with a view over the pond and the huge window allows you to star watch at night. Echidna wandering the paddock, lots of birdlife and Steve went out of his way to help us spot the platypus in the pond. Steve's wild life photography is superb. Will stay here again

A very peaceful spot with an incredible view. Birds and ducks visit the water holes and there are fruit, veggies and eggs available. We very much appreciated the breakfast goodies. It was a delight to stay here!

Well designed and stunning cottage in beautiful surroundings. One of the best properties we have stayed at. Large and comfy bed, huge deluxe bathroom, wood fire, full kitchen and large living space. Topped off with a brilliant cedar hot tub on the deck, with stunning views, which was greatly appreciated after day hiking in national parks. A must stay if you want peace and tranquility in a beautiful setting.

Peter and Susie were the perfect hosts! They were proactive in letting us know that there are no grocery stores or restaurants nearby, so we had plenty of time to buy our own food (however, they offered to cook us dinner). Peter gave us plenty of local recommendations, insider information, when we arrived and they offered excellent hiking tips for Cradle Mountain. The suite was large and in pristine condition. The bed, linens, and pillows were super comfortable (we loved the heating blanket). Lovely toiletries provided and a nice hot shower. We thought the filtered water tap was a fantastic surprise addition. There was also a kettle and fridge in our room, with our personal supply of coffee and tea. The 2 course breakfast was the cherry on top, absolutely delicious. The only downfall, which should not prevent you from running to stay here, is the shower head being a little low and not having the best pressure.

Liana was very kind, helpful and generous. Her place was very homely and welcoming. We got to see a baby wallaby and how she is living sustainably. She shared delicious groats, honey, pepper berries and fresh milk. We could follow Liana’s instructions to get there but made some suggestions to make it easier and recommend that you go in daylight hours and watch out for wildlife unless you know the area. We had a fantastic time visiting Cradle Mountain and are grateful to Liana for this opportunity to experience off the grid living in a beautiful natural spot.

Absolutely beautiful! Amazing outdoor spa, looking onto the mountain, beautiful and warm on checkin. Perfect, peaceful, some of the best Tasmania has to offer. 👏👏

I had the most magical stay here! Starting with the greeting from Shane and the dogs, to then having a chat about the house's history. It was relaxing from the get go. The land is stunning and having the ability to walk through the paddocks, visiting the alpacas, sheep, goats, and chickens along the way was such a treat. Shane even provided us some local goodies for breakfast, and eggs from the coop across from the cottage. It truly felt like I was back in an old cottage in England and I am thankful that I found this place because I will for sure be returning. Thank you Shane for such a wonderful place to relax in!!
