Our second time at Amu House and we just love it. Mary is so lovely and helpful! The house itself is beautiful. Nice, breezy private terraces to each room and the rooftop with a wonderful swinging chair. Very close to the main promenade, wonderful Swahili restaurants, and fantastic shopping! We'll certainly be back again. ❤️

After a safari in Kenya, we chose Casa Hera in Diani Beach for some relaxation, and it was the perfect choice! The house is spotless, with beautifully maintained common areas that are ideal for unwinding. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly staff. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, setting us up perfectly for the day. Our spacious room, complete with a private bathroom, was tastefully decorated, making every corner feel welcoming and comfortable. Michele provided excellent local tips, from restaurants to activities, and even arranged a visit to Mama Lorenza's Vocational Centre, which we greatly appreciated. Casa Hera truly felt like home, and we can't wait to return. Asante Sana!

I had a fantastic stay at this accommodation! It was spotless and perfectly located for exploring Lamu. Arnold, the host, is incredibly friendly and always willing to help. He even created his own map of Lamu, highlighting the best restaurants, supermarkets, ATMs, attractions, and other useful tips. He can also organize any type of excursions, which is really convenient. Arnold is very communicative and truly dedicated to making your stay enjoyable. The rooftop area is perfect for relaxing, and the breakfast included in the price is amazing. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return when I'm in Lamu again.

We didn't get to meet Mario as he was away on business, but we had an excellent stay at Cass Ya Ndoto. We were able to access our rooms on arrival which was well before check-in time. The rooms are huge and beautifully furnished and the home is in a very peaceful part of Nairobi. It was very easy with the security getting in and out of the property, and ubers were always only a few minutes away. The house is in a great location to visit the elephant orphanage, giraffe centre and other attractions like Langata Links. The breakfast was also top notch. Thank you, Mario!

I instantly felt right at home. Thomas, Amani and all the staff were very accommodating and were responsive to anything I needed. The breakfast is amazing (make sure to try the banana pancakes and the vegetable scrambled eggs). They make almost everything in-house so you really feel like you're eating a home-cooked meal. The afternoon tea and snack was perfect while I needed to work remotely and the wifi worked very well in the common areas so I was able to get a lot of work done during my stay. The bed was comfy, the water was hot, the room was spotless and it felt like a home away from home. Thank you!

Had a lovely and pleasant stay. Staff are attentive and friendly. Room was clean with clean furniture. I could hear the waterfalls from my room. The breakfast nook faces the waterfalls. They can also cook meals upon request. There are comfortable lounges to hang out in. Well decorated with unique architecture. I was able to walk in the quiet and green neighborhood. Highly recommend.
