the place is clean, clean water, closer to main road. everything as in the pictures, good check in and check out times. I would recommend this for people looking for a secure hosting.

nous y avons passé 2 nuits et tout s’est très bien passé. très bonnes prestations en particuluer bonne literie, bons sanitaires, machine à laver avec fonction seche linge ( prévoir de la lessive). prévoir aussi de l’eau et tout ce qu’il vous faut pour cuisiner. les infrastructures annoncées (piscine, gym) ne sont en revanche pas directement accessibles à proximité du logement comme je le pensais au vu des photos. nous n’en avons donc pas profité. enfin, si vous prévoyez de vous visiter ol pajeta, c’est à une bonne heure de route et un 4x4 est necessaire.

Great location close to the lakefront as described. Also there is Carnellys restaurant nearby. Check-in was smooth and the host was responsive. We enjoyed the brunch at the garden area. Overall good stay! Thank you.

My friends and I ushered in 2025 here. It was a really good place with amazing views of fireworks. The bonfire was always lit and the jacuzzi always hot! Not ideal for more than 4 couples though (unless you don’t mind being in each other’s space). The chef did a fantastic job! 👌

I had a family visit to the facility, and it was one of those memorable vacations. No surprises as everything worked as it's supposed to. The rooms, AC, kitchen, and Internet were all on point. The location is breathtaking from the pool, poolside relaxation, gym, and, more importantly the private access to the beach. The Ola Ola restaurant was also affordable, within the bigger compound, and on point with Swahili Cousine. You don't even have to struggle with utensils..time better spent at the beach. A place to just visit and experience the wonderful side of Kenyan Coast. Dr. FIfi was also very helpful and a great host. Kudos.

Very nice place with good facilities, and the location was perfect, with walking distance to town centre. The host Ben was so helpful and answered at messages even late in the evening to give us the best stay. Absolutely worth the money and would love to come back!

Our family had a fantastic stay - the beach was so close, our kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the sunrise/playing card games at the different view points. Highly recommend!

Sam and Harriet were very great at responding and advising with local /near by restaurants. Elijah at the house assisted a lot in the checkin and providing firewood for the fire place . Absolutely brilliant! The dogs (Nusu + Teddy and their friends ) amazing add on. Thanks again.

I loved John's place, it's warm comfortable and adequately furnished. James the caretaker was very attentive and a available. If you love nature this is the place to go for beautiful views and surroundings.. it's so peaceful. If you are hiker there is an interesting and scenic trail to venture to... You need a 4WD or Study high car for the 12km rough road to the house. Will definitely visit again... Thank you John and James for your warm hospitality.

Comfortable cabin with a beautiful garden and amazing views of Mount Kenya. Really close to rock climbing, shopping centres, and restaurants in Nanyuki, The Ol Pejeta conservancy and Ngare Ndare forest where you can hike and swim in natural pools depending on the season. Great for a weekend getaway :)

This Airbnb was absolutely perfect. The place was spotless, stylish, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The host was friendly, responsive, and thoughtful—providing great local tips and little extras that made us feel right at home.There was even tampons and panty liners in the washroom, I mean how thoughtful 😊 , ladies would definitely understand that this means alot to us. The location was convenient yet peaceful, perfect for relaxing. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, this was our 2nd time visiting, and it’s for sure not gonna be the last, it has become our go to home away from home when we need time away from the city noice.

Exquisite location to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The host Kananu is extremely friendly,responsive and pleasant to deal with. I enjoyed the space and everything about it! The Chef Liz prepared sumptuous meals during our visit. We will definitely be back.

This was the most fantastic stay we have had in a number of different trips to Diani. It is a beautiful spot and really handy to the beach and to amenities. Marianne was so helpful and all the staff fantastic. We went with Josephine’s cooking which was amazing and definitely the right choice. Pool is clean and wonderful. Tortoises, hammock, great space. Everything was fantastic. Thank you so much!

It's a really good place to stay especially if you'd like some peace and quiet away from the city. It has easy access to the lake which is nice plus you get to see quite a number of animals.

My family and I had a great stay at The Kite cottage in Watamu. Sue is a great host, clear communication from the start and great recommendations for local activities. The house staff, Wasi, Josephine, Patrick and the guard Joseph all made us feel right at home and assisted us throughout our stay. Patrick, the chef, made delicious meals for us each day and helped us source fresh seafood. The pool was refreshing in the heat and the cottage is a short walk from Garoda Beach. Tuk Tuk’s were parked nearby for trips into town. Definitely recommend the Dhow trip in the guide book. Next visit we will likely stay somewhere with air conditioning, as the heat made it difficult for the baby to sleep but definitely recommend The Kite to others visiting Watamu.

Absolutely beautiful cottage - surrounding by trees with seating so you can enjoy the monkeys jumping around in the trees. Immaculately clean and very helpful and kind staff. Less than a minute’s walk to the beach. Highly recommend!
