An amazing location with absolutely stunning views of the harbour. Well equipped. Lovely deck. A short but steep walk is well worth the effort for a relaxing drink watching the harbour. Non members welcome and great food. Some stunning beaches nearby for Ollie’s dog walks. Julia was very responsive to our messages. Highly recommended.

Kay's place was perfect for a couple of night's getaway. She was a very quick communicator and everything was as expected. She kindly left us freshly baked bread, as well as honey and apples from her property. The beds were very comfy and the whole place was well stocked and much more spacious than we expected. Kay's husband James sorted the pizza over for us and we cooked homemade pizzas. The property is private and secluded but just up a driveway from the road. Would highly recommend both the hosts and the property. Would happily stay again or suggest it to friends and family.

I booked on behalf of work colleagues and they had a very comfortable stay. Thanks for the prompt communication and wonderful home for the guys to relax in after work.

Te whare is an awesome place to stay. It has plenty of space for the entire family and also a good sized front yard for the kids to play. It is walking distance from the local takeout, cafe and shop. You could also walk to the beach from the location. The hosts were awesome and very responsive, they went out of their way to cater for us and our stay. Will definitely return again and highly recommend te whare!

This is a real pearl! The pictures doesn't do it justice. The surroundings are amazing and the house it self has everything you need. Very private and the property surrounding the house is super nice. The host is proactive and gave good information which was very appreciated!

I would like to start off by saying how peaceful and beautiful and majestic this land is. The farmhouse is an amazing place to stay if you want some peace and quiet if you want to be able to see the Milky Way at night or wake up to cows and sheep in the morning. It was a last-minute Airbnb find for myself and my friend and Marissa was fabulous! She came over and made sure the house was good for us and when we got there, she also left us four fresh eggs, some freshly made hot cross buns, and some milk for the coffee. I felt like home!! The kitchen is unbelievable. The beds were so comfortable I didn’t wanna wake up. The sunrises over the mountains and the mist on the fields was beautiful. We got the most beautiful pictures of the sunrise and also some amazing pictures of the stars at night. I would recommend anybody in that area. The farmhouse is the place to go! Marissa and her husband showed us this beautiful scenic route to drive which we did and it was fabulous! The Farmhouse rocks

We were six couples who had a thoroughly enjoyable break from city life for 5 days. Used it as a base to do day trips to go fishing, trip to Cape Reinga and Kerikeri. Big comfortable home and friendly responsive host

We loved Nuku Cabin, Diane and Anthony were lovely and friendly and I think My hubby could have chatted to Anthony all day. They seemed to have thought of everything and it was very well organised and easy to find what you needed. The cabin was exactly as described and there was plenty of space for us to spread out and relax. The weather was extremely wet so it was great to have so much space. We thought we might have been able to hear the highway more but once the door was shut we couldn’t hear anything. We can thoroughly recommend Nuku Cabin.

We had an amazing stay! Rodd was incredibly professional and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The house is absolutely stunning and looks exactly like the pictures. The amenities provided truly elevated the experience as we had everything we could possibly need at our fingertips. My family and I had so much fun as there's so much to do, and all of the amenities are in amazing condition. Thank you Rodd for being so accomodating! Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Had a great stay at Joanne’s place. The studio itself is spacious and has everything you need. It’s nicely decorated and cozy. Also, it is a perfect location to rest up and break up a drive to far North.

We came up from Auckland for a wedding & the property was local to everything The property was great and both Rob & his wife were lovely. We barely seen them so we decided to go say hello down at their Phat House bar in haruru. We had a couple of nephews come and visit while we were up aswell . Catching up with whanau and coming back to relax there was lovely .

We had a wonderful 3 days stay at Vicki's house. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed and lounge. Kitchen had everything you need. Vicki was great to deal with, so lovely and helpful. awesome views, very private. Would highly recommended Vicki's place. Kind Regards Mike and Shaz WA

A quintessential New Zealand beach Bach, well equiped and classic Northland sea views. loved our stay

11 out of 10 ! Claire was outstanding as a host. Spacious, off-street parking (plural), private, clean, fully equipped, comfortable, squillionaire views with almost ‘private’ beach access. Maybe someone didn’t mention the great outdoor shower for getting rid of beach sand ? This place is perfect for family gatherings. There is only one thing not perfect about this place….having to leave !

In the words of my girlfriend, “this is the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in” and I 100% agree. This place has an abundance of charm and character, beautiful views and the beach on your doorstep. I went on a run down the beach and the views were more breathtaking than the exercise. Don’t even get me started on his 3 gorgeous labradors that joined us for breakfast, absolute diamonds! This place was so good we had to change our plans after so we could stay another night and take it all in. Can not recommend this place enough

The apartment was brilliant, the location one street up from the beach so good. the unit had everything, coffee machines, hot plate , huge microwave convection oven and all the usual suspects. loads of parking on the grass verge, and beautiful view. Linen was good, a million pillows and blankets and even beach towels. games etc Our only tiny gripes were it looked at little bigger in the photos, with beds etc suitable for six except it didn't have dining or lounge seating for 6. We borrowed a chair from family nearby and worked it out but it was quite small, and there was only three staying and the dogs. So just a note if you are six people, it is quite small space. Dog friendly but it would have been nice to have a small out door area fenced so we could have let the girls (doggos) out to pee on their own, but this wasn't a problem really except for the dog with the shy bladder... hahah so thank you so much Linda and Judy for a friendly and great getaway to the far north.

Do not miss the chance to book this lovely place. If I could, I would give more than 5 stars. This was our best Arbnb during our New Zealand trip. The place has lots of space in the "Living room" and garden, so our Baby had plenty of space to crawl and explore. The view is so beautiful, the garden private and peaceful, the price fair. Everthing was tidy and clean and well equiped. On top, Sarah is a delightful host; so friendly, helpful and responsive. What more could you with for?

We had a very enjoyable few days in this lovely place. Great views, peaceful surroundings and comfortable, spacious accommodation. Steve was a good host, friendly and helpful. We loved exploring this part of the world and would happily come back to the area and the house.
