A perfect quick getaway for my wife and pup! Looked even better than the pictures provided on airbnb and had everything we could ask for. The stay was comfortable, peaceful, and without any hiccups. Communication was great throughout. Would definitely stay here again if back in the area!

Great home with everything you need. Super close to town. The only thing is that the neighbors clearly dont like Airbnb. They have picket signs up protesting short-term rentals which doesnt make you feel very comfortable. Doesnt affect the house at all.

"Wonderful Stay at a Prime Location" We had an incredible time at this villa, which is located in a prime spot, close to everything! The property is clean, well-maintained, and offers a perfect getaway. Marco, the host, was absolutely fantastic—friendly, responsive, and made us feel right at home. The villa features a beautiful pool and the Spanish-style architecture really captures the authentic California vibes. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay.

Our Thanksgiving by the Kern was a dream, A perfect place for our little family team. Quail danced in the yard, deer roamed at night, And the river’s song brought pure delight. Ty’s kindness made check-in a breeze, A home filled with love, so easy to please. The setup was perfect for a father of three, A 9, 5, and 3-year-old, happy as can be. The backyard was magic, the views serene, Nature’s beauty, like a living scene. Laughter and memories, joy in the air, A trip to remember, beyond compare. We’ll cherish this stay forever more, By the Kern River, a place we adore. Thank you from the Walker’s for a wonderful stay.

I cannot recommend Laura’s Airbnb highly enough! From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Laura is a genuinely kind host who truly cares about her guests. Her communication is excellent, and she’s always quick to follow up if there’s an issue. For example, when my car unfortunately leaked oil onto the driveway, Laura handled the situation with incredible professionalism and kindness, ensuring everything was resolved without any stress. The space itself is immaculate—spotless, fully stocked with high-quality amenities, and exactly as described in the Airbnb listing. The price is beyond reasonable for what you get, and it’s worth every penny. The location is supreme! Whether you’re on foot or driving, everything you need is within easy reach. It’s also kid-friendly, with parks and a golf course nearby, and dog-friendly, which was a huge bonus. The neighborhood is super quiet and feels incredibly safe—I’ve enjoyed peaceful night strolls and even found the neighbors to be kind.

Laura’s place was perfect for our quick weekend trip to Bakersfield. We were visiting some family and this place was 5 mins away from our event we were going to. It was quiet, super clean, and spacious. The bathroom had a lot of counter space which was helpful while getting ready in the morning. I highly recommend staying here!

Paul is gracious host. He is friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with. Paul has a wealth of knowledge of the immediate and surrounding areas. I would stay at Paul's again. I highly recommend Paul and his Air B-N-B.

Eric was very responsive and helpful. His instructions were clear and his explanations of the rules were straightforward and reasonable. I would gladly recommend this property.

We booked this home for our family Christmas trip, and it honestly surpassed our expectations. Lots of room for a big family. The sauna was a plus for us, it snowed when we stayed there and it was such a perfect cozy home for after some snow fun. There isn’t much of a grocery store nearby besides a convenience store. We took a lot of things from outside of the town(near castaic stopped by a Ralph’s) which helped with meals and snacks. They did provide a lot of toiletries so that helped, I would definitely travel again to this property with my family next year. communication was very easy to have and check-in was a breeze!

We spent a long weekend getaway at Pete’s with our children. The house was clean, quiet and comfortable. It is very close to everything but also secluded in a private neighborhood tucked back away from the main road. It had every single thing we needed and way more. We especially enjoyed the beautiful views from the porch. We would absolutely stay again. Pete was a great host- he was easy to communicate with and gave very clear instructions.

Some reviews noted spider webs and debris. We saw no evidence of this. Others complained about the heat system in the guest room. We’re familiar with a split system so had no issues. There are 3 different systems in that unit so maybe they were trying the electric wall heater which isn’t very efficient and what seemed to be a gas radiator which didn’t seem to have the pilot light on and also wouldn’t be as efficient. We had timely responses on the few questions we had ahead of our arrival

The place was spacious and peaceful. We all had a restful night sleep. The house was super clean! The pictures is exactly what we got if not better. Our cars that we parked outside were super safe. There was no problem getting inside the home. The house was super beautiful. Nos encanto esta casa está preciosa grandísimas ya tenemos planes para volver muy bien todo le damos un 10 excelente el trato fuimos para la boda de mi sobrino y no queríamos regresar a nuestra casa muchas gracias por todo éramos un grupo grande y la pasamos excelente la cocina preciosa los daños las camas súper todo muy bien olganisado limpio seguro tranquilo una de nuestras mejores experiencias la recomendamos al 100 esta casa está preciosa es más de lo que vimos en las fotos gracias.

Great host, thank you for the stay

I had a large group getting together for our annual friendsgiving celebration and this place was perfect! Everything was comfortable and easy. They even allowed me to check-in early which I really appreciated. The location is beautiful. We went on a hike and utilized the club pickleball courts. The only thing was there wasn’t a dishwasher- which was a bit surprising given the size of the house and kitchen. It was okay for us, but something to be aware of if you plan to do a lot of cooking as we did. Otherwise a very well equipped house. Overall everything was great and we all had a good time.!
