Good location, quiet and private. Had everything I needed, no issues at all. Thank you!

Everything was perfect, took advantage of the private space. Kids had lots of fun on the playground and lake. The views are spectacular, one of my top favorites. Be prepared to take your own toiletries. Will definitely be back.

Adorable loft home. Hosts were very kind and responsive. They made it super easy for a late night check-in and left very detailed, helpful instructions and directions. The bed was super comfy and the entire vibe of the place was adorable! Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was lovely! The space is as described and looked just like the photos, and based on the some of the previous feedback, we knew what to expect. Yes, it could use some decor/furnishing updates and a good solid top-to-bottom deep clean, but the perfect location/proximity to amenities and reasonable price makes it worth it. We would stay here again!

The location is pleasant, and the guest room is separate. It would be beneficial to install a curtain or blind on the door to enhance privacy.

Steezy's guest cottage is in an excellent centralized location for access to all of Bakersfield. The cottage was small, yet perfect for one person visiting on business. The WiFi worked very well. The kitchen is like new with everything needed. The ability to park inside the gated drive was a very nice added security option adding good value to the property. I would certainly use Steezy's place again if available and would recommend to others for similar use.

Our stay at Sophia’s place was lovely. We enjoyed the amenities it offer and we were not far from restaurants and activities to do in the area. Communication was great! Easy access and Sophia gave great recommendations. Would stay again!

Great place, views. Very quiet and private neighborhood. Good place to stay and get away from the city. The Little Dun retreat lives up to its name.

We loved our stay. Fyza & her husband were very on top on everything and were so helpful. It was so cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. We would 100% stay again. 10/10 recommend staying here or in one of their other rentals. They are amazing hosts.

I really enjoyed reading in the sun on the swing! That was my favorite spot. Quiet, a light breeze, comfy. The furniture arrangement was fascinating. I love things that can be tucked away, and used for different purposes. It made the space far more usable than the square footage would suggest. I made good use of the desk, and the Wi-Fi handled my Zoom calls without a problem. I would stay here again.

Megan’s place was a perfect getaway for us and our two dogs to explore Kern River. The place was clean, had everything we needed, and a wonderful mountain view. Megan was a great, attentive host. I would recommend staying here!

Its nice and quiet. They had everything I needed and more. The shower is amazing. The beds are super comfortable. The hosts are very nice and responsive. If you're gonna waste money on a hotel, I highly suggest you stay here instead. it's about the same price as a hotel but you get more space, privacy, and amenities. I'll definitely be booking again in the near future.

I couldn’t have had a more comfortable stay. Upon my entrance they were there to make sure I had everything I needed! I highly recommend anyone stay here or any of their places. I moved from Georgia here and they helped me feel right at home with the comfort their room provided. This island perfect for someone looking for extended stay options!

The Tree house was perfect for the time we spent in Bakersfield. We had some mechanical issues with our motor home and after we dropped it off at 8 am I texted Jacob and he said everything was ready for us. The house had everything we would needed including laundry. We have 2 small dogs and yard was secured for them. Jacob told us fun places to eat and if we needed anything he always texted back right away.

I came all the way from New Hampshire. I was here for two days and didn’t like where I was staying, and I ended up Finding Her Place. She had me in within two days and she even had it cleaned early for me so that way when I checked out of my Airbnb, I was able to go straight to her house. Her and her husband are very knowledgeable. Everything I needed they gave me someone to contact. Even had some car issues and they had their mechanic come look at my car for me. I’m traveling all the way from New Hampshire to Maria’s was exhausting and I felt right at home. It was so wonderful and peaceful. They definitely made me feel welcome and safe, especially coming from an area that has nothing. Maria and her husband were actually the first people I met here they made my whole experience in California amazing. I am very thankful for them. It’s absolutely beautiful and comfortable and peaceful. I definitely enjoyed my stay and I would go back again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much

The perfect, easily accessible, clean and safe “stay over” spot for our travels! Michelle was great, communicated with us about a few details ahead of time and was really accommodating! We arrived late in the evening and had no problem getting in and settled. Blackout curtains - thank you!!! It was very quiet and the bed and bedding were comfortable.

This was such a wonderful experience staying at Barb’s place, I only wish the weather had been warmer to use the pool. This King Suite has a door directly to the pool. Everything was perfect. Down to the decorative towels in the bathroom and Barb is very responsive and very kind. It’s a great place on a quiet street. Can’t wait to come back.

Our stay at Oscar’s mountain home was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The check-in process was a breeze with clear instructions and a cozy red door that made the entrance easy to find. The house itself is charming, spotless, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. The thermostat was preset to a comfortable temperature, but easy to adjust, and the WiFi was fast and reliable. We especially appreciated the access to the fenced backyard—our dogs had the best time exploring and enjoying the fresh mountain air while we relaxed on the deck. The bed was super comfortable, and all the little touches—from the welcome sign to the peaceful setting—made it feel like a true retreat. Oscar was a kind and responsive host, and it’s clear he cares deeply about his guests’ comfort. If you’re looking for a peaceful, pet-friendly escape with beautiful surroundings and a touch of mountain magic, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!
