Benjamin was flexible and kind. I had to book quickly because I was in town for an impromptu archaeological event. The place was safe, quiet, and secure.

Home was very clean and was close to many different small restaurants. Very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed our stay in this wonderful small town.

Loved this place! We really enjoyed our stay. The place was stocked with everything we needed to cook. It was very clean and very cozy. It was for sure a peaceful country stay. Location was perfect. It is far out from things but I loved that the most. It's on a nice plot of land so there was plenty of space outside for my toddler to run around in the grass. We would absolutely come back to stay again! There were a few bugs that would find their way inside but I guess that's to be expected with the weather warming up. Overall great stay!

The pear tree farm was a wonderful stay. The house is spacious and comfortable, with lots of little details accounted for. David, our host was extremely responsive to questions and accommodating to our schedule. Our dogs loved the big fenced in yard and garden, and we felt very at home. The farm is a unique, historical treasure, and we would gladly return.

When I say beautiful and comfortable I mean just that. Home away from home and I mean that. I travel for work so feeling at home is big to me. Stephanie was great and I would love to stay at her homes in every state if I could. Thanks for the stay and for being a great host.

I had a wonderful stay at the Camden Cottage. It was the perfect amount of space and amenities, and was in immaculate condition when I arrived. I enjoyed the "sounds of the country" at sunrise each morning, including roosters crowing, horses neighing, and yes, dogs barking. I also felt completely safe in the area and spent time exploring it with my dogs. Camden Cottage was a very comfortable place to lay my head each night after a busy day and I very much appreciate the opportunity to stay there.

Carrie and her husband are kind and gentle people. They're very, very friendly and helpful. They run a horse rescue place and that all by itself makes these folks great people. They also have very friendly dogs. Some cats, too. The A-frames and cabins are on the grounds of the rescue and there is also a lake. It was quiet in the extreme during my 3 night stay but I was the only guest. I first stayed in one of Carrie's A-frames. It was very small but the bed was comfortable. Potential guest should keep in mind that the A-frames do not have bathrooms and guests must use the separate bath house, an approximate 50 yard walk away. I hadn't read the property description sufficiently to know the A-frames had no bathrooms. Carrie very graciously moved me into one of the cabins, which had its own bathroom and kitchen . I found the cabin to becomfortable and much more to my liking than the A-frame.

Beautiful lakefront property with large porch. Lots of space to hang out and visit. Clean and well-appointed. It is down a fairly long gravel road with a steep driveway and the front door is inside the screen porch. Not difficult to access but if arriving after dark just something to be aware of so you know you are in the right place.

If you are looking for a peaceful get away with a breathtaking view, this is the place. From waking up with the morning sun & coffee on the back porch and mesmerized by the lakes view; to sipping wine on the back porch in the evening still gazing at the lakes view. Absolutely loved the behind the fence greeting of the rescue horses and donkeys! From the fresh eggs to the baby goats, we were so delighted. You will be pleasantly delighted as walk into the place, from the sweet smell in the air and all the little extras Miss Carrie thought of. Fresh smelling sheets and towels are always a great thing! I cannot say enough about the hosts! I am so grateful for them creating their Airbnb and sharing their world with us and others. My only complaint is not being able to stay longer. This was by far a great decision to visit with Carrie and her place. She is an awesome person. The place was clean quite and private. Just what my wife and myself were looking for to spend our anniversary. Thank you so much Carrie for your heartfelt welcome and we hope to visit again really soon.

Lovely home. Dock for fishing. Nice yard. House was clean and easy to find/get into. Lots of utensils, towels, products etc. enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful, lovely views of the lake. Literally 2 mins from the state park.

Enjoyed the lake house very much. It was comfy, cozy and warm. Loved to sit outside to watch the ducks or the deer. Would definitely book with Hayley again in the future.
