Teachers cottage way exceeded my expectations! Private, peaceful and beautifully surrounded by nature. Well decorated and has everything you need. Candy and Ritchie were both wonderful hosts, friendly, very responsive and always willing to help. Loved my stay at Old School Farm!

Wir waren mit unseren Kindern (5 und 2 Jahre alt) 2 Nächte im Brenton on Sea Chalet. Die Aussicht ist einfach atemberaubend, jedes Zimmer hat Meerblick besser geht es nicht. Die Einrichtung war wunderschön und sehr hochwertig. Auch der Hot Tub auf der Terrasse war spitze. Über einen Pfad gelangt man direkt vom Chalet aus zu dem Strand. Vielen Dank Annelize, wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit.

Wow! Where to begin to describe this wonderful place: hanging on the side of the converted pool-dam and staring over the endless green pastures, complete with herds of cows; cycling down the hill to Sedgefield’s market or lighting the fire for a braai. Or shall one start at the luxurious and ample space, filled with comfortable and elegant decor, the bathrooms with sliding windows that one can continue staring at the views? Or the riveting River Trail that takes you down to dark, cool rock pools? Perhaps one should start at the fully equipped open kitchen inspiring healthy, laid back salads in beautiful bowls…. And then there are the quiet evenings and nights of blissfull sleep. Impossible to describe everything. Suffice to say we have been engulfed with gratitude of having found this incredible place.

Great cottage in a great location. We visited in winter and the wood burning oven warms up the entire house. Great bedrooms, comfy and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to be self sufficient. The deck looks out over a fantastic magic garden. The garden has all sorts of hidden corners that must be explored. We picked our dinner veggies, grape fruits, oranges and lemons - there is loads more. If we could give this place 6 out of 5 we would have. Loved it

What a magical place! Linda is the most accommodating and tentative host we’ve ever had!! It is the perfect place for a family and truly an amazing spot for complete R&R. From the walks around the farm, swimming in the rockpools, the jungle gym, feeding the calves and the recommendation to see the 800+year old tree! What an amazing experience! Wish we had stayed much longer than 2 nights! We will definitely be back for a longer visit!

Very comfortable sleeping arrangements. Lots of space and AirCon made it cozy and we didn’t have to really deal with mosquitos. Full kitchen with everything you would need which was great! Even a blender for soup so I was very happy. Great restaurants near by, a beautiful beach and lagoon to play on, and a lot of birds in the area. Gate and self check in was safe and easy to manage. Would stay here again

This place is truly a hidden gem! The breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding landscape made it feel like a perfect blend of forest and seaside tranquility. The home was fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Every moment felt like stepping into a masterpiece of nature’s beauty — truly a reflection of God’s artwork. The steps leading to this hidden gem were truly rewarding. Karen was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with, making me feel like part of her family from the start. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a refreshing escape from daily life, even if you already live near the ocean — this is an entirely unique experience.

Lovely stylish cottage. Bigger than we expected. Loved having my morning coffee on the patio, enjoying the view. Sleeper couch is super comfy. Wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend.

Beautifully constructed house and great stmosphere.

We definitely recommend staying at Nix’s beautiful cottage in Plettenberg Bay. The place is fantastic with everything you need and more. The area is wonderful with lots to do with kids and without and we would have loved to stay much longer! Nix was a fantastic host!

Wir haben zu sechst zwei Nächte im Milkwood Cottage verbracht und uns direkt zuhause gefühlt. Die Unterkunft sah genauso aus wie auf den Fotos und war mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Bei einem der Zimmer handelt es sich um ein Durchgangszimmer. Ein großer Pluspunkt ist die unmittelbare Lage am Strand. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto ca 10 min entfernt. Zudem war die Kommunikation mit Erick und Alicia sehr unkompliziert, Nachrichten wurden schnell beantwortet. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

Very peaceful stay. Something unique. Loved every moment

This was an absolutely wonderful stay. The cottage is just right for two people and has everything you need. The surroundings are so peaceful and quiet. The farmstall is also amazing. Very delicious and afforable breakfast and very friendly staff.

Amazing place to stay and right off the N2 - very convenient if you’re going to be exploring around. Cozy feel to the home and nice ambience. Really enjoyed my stay here!

Delia’s house is pristine. It’s modern and very tastefully decorated. It also felt very safe and the kids loved running around the spacious grounds. We loved the canoes and paddle board on our doorstep, with the fireplace overlooking the river. Only slight drawback is the proximity to the road, but other than that it’s been a great place to stay and explore the many available activities on the garden route. Many thanks! P

We felt right at home in this spacious and peaceful oasis, with a beautiful lawn all around, and a large tree providing shade when it was hot. We especially appreciated the metal kettle, not the usual ghastly plastic kettles one usually finds, the litre of fresh milk in the fridge, the complimentary rusks, and so on. Plenty of strong hot water. James was very friendly and happy to chat. All in all, a wonderful stay and a great memory.

What a lovely location. Everything in walking distance, loved Thesen Island. Boat trip and great restaurants, we particularly enjoyed the Nest.

We really appreciated our stay at Sandra's place. It has a particularly well equipped kitchen and we loved the pool and views over Knysna. Also nice to be close to town but not right in the middle of it

Peaceful vacation, functional home and friendly host. Stayed at Heidi’s home with kids and we LOVED our stay. The pool was a highlight and the parents really enjoyed the coffee maker. Great retreat for a few nights!
