The Potting Shed is the perfect place to stay. The accommodation is well laid out and tucked away. Sam and Karen are friendly hosts but respect your privacy. We enjoyed sitting in the orchard area and were lucky with the weather. We walked to The Leather and Lace pub (10 min walk through the village), where we enjoyed a delicious burger. The pub is so interesting, full of retro accessories. The beer was well kept too. We enjoyed walking in the local area, visiting Glastonbury and walking further afield. Thank you Karen and Sam for your warm welcome and our generous goody basket, milk and local apple juice. We would definitely like to return. Mel and Simon

Beautiful cottage! The cottage is located on a small country road made the place feel really private. looks exactly like the pictures, super clean and lovely hot tub! sarah is a fantastic host and very easy to contact. A lovely stay and will definitely be returning and recommending! Thank you sarah!:)

We had a beautiful stay, the views from the air bnb were very serene especially at sunset. The beds were extremely cozy; a homely little stay, with a big garden space & hot tub. Perfect for a weekend getaway or short stay Bath being only a 10 mins drive away was great for us to go & explore Poppys home is lovely & communication from Poppy was helpful & prompt We had a wonderful time, thank you

Really lovely stay. Plenty of local walks and pubs and only half an hour from both Bath and Bristol. Catherine was a great host and has set up the place really nicely to make you feel at home. Would definitely recommend.

Carley was an exceptional host and made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was stocked with anything you would need and plenty of extra toys & games for the kids. Incredible stay!

Everything as described and the perfect host! Situated within walking distance of the town centre, the accommodation was a comfortable gem. The hot tub was a great accessory too! We loved it!

Absolutely gorgeous little find. Gary and Lynda’s place was super cozy and spotless. It was so nice to relax and unwind in the hot tub too. Great communication from our hosts and beautiful location. Hoping to return soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a lovely stay. The barn was beautifully decorated and very clean. Kate and Allison were very helpful and responsive. Directions were very clear and we found the place easily. It was very conveniently located to explore the Forest of Dean. The only quibble we had was that there was no hot water in the ensuite bathroom - the other bath was fine though.

James was very responsive when we had trouble finding the place (due to technical problems accessing the airbnb website with the full address). He stayed on the phone with us as we drove and gave us instructions. The place was very homey and comfortable, mostly clean, with the exception of minor issues. Some small amount of mould in one of the bathrooms. There was a homemade cake for us which was delicious. We had a great time staying there.

What a lovely cottage. Great location, facilities provided were excellent. Really informative booklet, great little pub literally steps away :) Lots of nice little touches such as the note for our dog and the treats, she appreciated those. Cottage had a lovely, homely feel and was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. Communication was good and would definitely recommend to others. All in all a fabulous time away, thank you :)

Lee was an excellent host: friendly, charming and helpful. The delightful cottage was a joy to stay in. We were a couple but there was plenty of space for four adults: two double bedrooms, generous lounge/diner, well equipped kitchen and more than adequate washing and toilet facilities. There is a utility room but we didn’t need to use it during our short stay.

Really lovely little place to stay, I was only there one night for work but was clean, great amenities and lovely location! Jo was very responsive and friendly in her messages, would recommend for those who need to stay in the area.

we had a fabulous stay at priory view, very dog friendly, lots of great beaches within close distance. Loved that the garden was totally secure for the dog, no worries of him getting out. Very comfortable stay with everything we needed.

We have stayed at Wendy’s place before and each visit is better than the last. Wendy is brilliant at giving recommendations of things to do in the area. We used the indoor and outdoor pool which the kids loved. We stayed as two families and the children are mixed ages there was something for everyone and plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The house was spotless. I would highly recommend!!

A lovely little cottage and great base for walking in the local area.

Sally and Steve have a lovely cosy cottage, you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Sally was very welcoming on my arrival, told me a few things about the cottage and had left a much appreciated cake in the kitchen. Woollard is a very pretty village, with lovely walks and a choice of pubs that serve food. I recommend this as a good location, with easy access to Bristol and Bath. Sally and Steve are very friendly hosts and go out of their way to ensure that you enjoy your stay. Thank you.

Lovely, peaceful location. Short walk to the pub with a great Indian restaurant and takeaway. The whole place was immaculately clean. Really comfy bed. As mentioned by others parking is a bit of a squeeze.

A perfect location for our short break in Somerset with 2 dogs. The villa is quirky, spacious, clean and very comfortable. Lots of space for families with a beautiful garden, sun room and great kitchen. Lovely walks nearby and we walked to the local restaurant the first evening for a takeaway. Took a total of 8 mins there and back! A great base for visiting the Mendips, Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury and Blagdon. A stones throw from Wookey Hole also, although we didn’t visit this time. I would really recommend this beautiful place. If you want to either kick back and relax, or walk and walk and walk - then this is the place for you. Thank you so much. We’d love to return if you’ll have us!

We had the most wholesome time in this cottage. Exactly what we were looking for for a girl's trip in the countryside. This stay was a whole experience for us. The fireplace, DVD player, tea pot, little table in the garden where we had breakfast—everything about it was perfect. 100% recommend.

Martyn and Rosemary have a beautiful cottage tucked away in the countryside but only 5 minutes away drive from Stroud. The cottage was everything we had imagined and more for spending Christmas with my family. They had put up a decorated Christmas trees and lights. There was fire wood and kindling to have cosy evenings playing games and singing Christmas songs. They were extremely accommodating, making us feel as though we had lived there and was part of the community. It was an unforgettable trip with the beautiful views of the Cotswolds, everything to see and visit and explore the nature. But then to come home after a long day and be able to cook in a incredibly kitted and comfortable kitchen and sit beside the fire place. Well done to Martyn and Rosemary for such a magical and unforgettable stay. We wish you a very happy New year!!

Thank you very much Ann, our whole family had a great time in your lovely cottage with loads of character, so peaceful and clean and everything you need practically were there in the kitchen plus breakfast goodies which were an added bonus. The beds were so comfy with lovely and soft linens that made our stay really a restful getaway for our family and our fur baby.

Our stay at the Lodge was everything we hoped - in easy access of Bath but set in beautiful nature. We started every morning with a coffee on the terrace listening to the bird song. It was perfectly proportioned for the two of us and while nestled in the countryside was easy to find that’s to Janice’s directions. We’d love to return for a proper walking holiday, and will be recommending to others.

We loved our stay at Manor Cottage in Seend this past weekend. Peaceful cottage with homely feel, great tennis court and wonderful relaxing gardens. Francis made sure we were looked-after at all times. Thank you!! TJ & Gabs

We had a lovely stay and would definitely come back again. The annexe is beautiful, and is situated in a great place with lots to do. The annexe is equipped with everything you need and Wendy is really helpful and friendly. A great stay, thanks Wendy.
