“I can’t say enough great things” is not where I want to begin with my review because I feel it’s too cliché… but it’s true. The only reason we didn’t extend our trip is because of our fur babies at home. My fiancé and I don’t often want to stay at places too long, as we long for our own home and routine after a few days away. Darwin made it so that we felt right at home, forgot our problems, and lived right in the moment. I don’t know what was better… the fresh coffee every morning, the custom meals and yummy homemade desserts, the late night Mario Cart wars, or the fact that his presence on the mountain made me a better snowboarder. Truly one of the best snowboarding adventures of my life, thanks to Darwin (I do not say this lightly, I’ve been snowboarding on and off for 20+ years). It’s not an Airbnb you’re paying for.. it’s an adventure and a lifetime of core memories. Oh… we WILL be back, so long as you’re still around, Dar! We’re on the plane heading home, & wish we can turn back

I have stayed in more than 50 Airbnb's and this was one of the best experiences I have had. The room and space was absolutely beautiful and magical. The host's, Julie and Hutch, were friendly and easy to talk to. In fact, Hutch noticed that my son had a guitar with him and asked if he would like to play for him and some friends at a local restaurant in Breckenridge. My 17 year old son was very excited and immediately wrote a set list and then performed two hours later at the gathering. It was very kind and thoughtful to include my son. And that is the kind of experience we had the whole time. I will definitely be back and I will always check if this space is available first when I go to Breckenridge. Ten stars.

My friend and I who were in for a long weekend for skiing found this place just what we needed, a crash pad. Realize this stay is a hostel type amenity that is operated out of the hosts house and you’ll be just fine. Don’t expect a place all to yourself and you won’t be surprised. That description is not a dig on the place just a matter of fact and if you’re ok with it and meeting new people then this place will do the trick for you. We really enjoyed the hot tub which was a nice amenity because 1) it’s a smaller population using it and 2) Darwin, the host, requires everyone to shower off before getting in, so the hot tub is clean! Darwin is also a gracious host who made breakfast sammies and baked goods for before and after your day of hitting the mountain. Everything appeared clean but it is cluttered, because 5-10 people could be staying in the house at any given time. Don’t get this review wrong, we enjoyed our stay and the people we met!

We loved our stay at Hutch and Julie’s home! I think if we were to stay again, we would definitely select one of the more spacious rooms. The incredible location made up for any concerns. Getting to the mountain was easy as ever. Hutch and Julie’s cats were the stars of our stay. They were so sweet and made us feel at home. It was such a comfy cozy spot to have a mini vacation!

A great friendly host. A very homely place to hang out. Has social space as well as more private areas to relax alone. Cooking was superb. Cookies were a nice touch. Breakfast was varied and very tasty. Pizza dinner was a highlight of my trip.

Loved the location! Hot tub was a great plus at the end of a ski day. Hutch and Julie were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

This is a really great place to stay if you’re coming to Breck. A maybe 10 minute walk to the gondola wearing ski boots. Clean and comfy bedrooms. Darwin will make you feel right at home too helping to accommodate you any way he can and cooking delicious breakfasts from scratch each morning. Will return if it’s a possibility in the future! 10/10

This place was so nice and well-cared for. I’ve never stayed somewhere with sharp knives and nice cookware like this. What a difference that makes. We felt right at home. We are particular about clean and this place was immaculate. The layout worked well for relaxing in our large group and retreating to other rooms as needed. I had a great stay at the Fireside Inn. The location is great, you can walk to Main St and to the gondola stop (there’s also a free bus stop right across the street). The hosts were communicative, check in and check out were easy. The kitchen is small and there aren’t a lot of pots/pans, just something to be aware of if you plan to cook and there are other guests cooking. I would stay here again.

Cute little piece of history. Lauren was super nice and gave us lots of recommendations for things to do. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely amazing stay from the second I got there to the very moment I left. Very clean space with amenities for everyone to share. Respectful rules keep the place in great shape 24/7. Breakfast every morning is the cherry on top! (Be sure to tip!) Amazing deal - I feel like I got my moneys worth 10x over! If this spot is available, BOOK IT QUICK!

Felt completely comfortable during my 5 day stay in Silver Plume. Very unique town with a rich history. I will stay here again if trip arises. Thank you for welcoming me into your home Lauren.

Great B&B that's very close to Breckenridge ski resort. There is a free shuttle right outside of the B&B that takes you straight to the Gondola. We got the sweetheart room which was quaint and had its own bathroom which was a plus. They were kind enough to grant a late checkout when my wife wasn't feeling well in the morning. Would definitely recommend it if you're looking to ski or just explore the downtown area!

What a enjoyable stay, perfect for my trip. Close to town , walk to all stores and food. Felt at home as soon as i walked through the door. Met a bunch of great diverse people. Will come back .
