The hosts created this incredibly beautiful home in the heart of old town Udaipur very convenient for visits to palace and other sights and shopping in the old town markets. Everything is up to Western standard and the aesthetics is stunningly gorgeous! Wow The caretaker, Mr. Bhagwati and his wife speaks excellent English and was most helpful in coordinating everything, including transportation, booking of dinners and suggestions of sites to see. They even bought groceries for me to make food at home. It was lovely to have a functional kitchen and ample living room space to lounge in. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite and the terrace provided great view of the old city Neighborhood and sunny spots to relax in and have breakfast provided and made by the caretakers every morning ! It was great to have laundry facilities as well. We stayed 12 days in total and thoroughly enjoyed living in old town at Smiling sparrow ! Chetan is a wonderful host and Anil the caretaker communicated well too. I felt the cleaning needs to improve a bit. Rest the whole stay was wonderful.

My family and I traveled from Jaipur, and our priority was to find affordable accommodations within the city limits, avoiding locations too far from the center. Incredible stay in Udaipur! So many great things about this stay. We booked this stay for a corporate off-site. First, Mega is a superhost - she is extremely responsive and helpful from the beginning - from when we booked to when we arrived to throughout our stay. She even left us snacks and starters when we came in - so thoughtful! Second, the location is impeccable - in the heart of Udaipur, overlooking the beautiful lakes, everyone commented on how incredible the location was. It was very accessible to everything - all walkable. Third, the house & suites itself were amazing - the rooms were spotless clean, very modern yet well decorated with traditional Rajasthani feel. The beds were large & clean, and bathrooms as well. Each suite is very well designed. Fourth, the views and general feel of the place was incredible - the outdoor space, the balconies, etc - really allowed us to enjoy the full view and enjoy our trip to Udaipur! If you’re looking for a peaceful break from the chaos of city life, this mountain retreat is everything you could ask for. Situated at a beautiful elevation, absolutely stunning 360° views of surrounding mountain valley. The privacy is unmatched. One small note - the pool is a bit deep, which might be less comfortable for shorter guests—but it’s still a great spot to relax.

Easy check-in, spotless, roomier than the pictures. All amenities. Great bath accessories, good internet and online TV was a nice touch. I'm a light sleeper and their was zero extraneous noise. I was most impressed by Mr. A's responsiveness to any query. Great transportation recommendations.

It was an amazing get away from city cluster. Rohan was well before our check in time to help us for our stay and guide us about the city and things to do. All the care takers were always on their feet to help with all the things. Rooms were clean with lavish interiors Location of the villa is breathtaking. It was a complete go to place. Highly recommend!

At Lovesh's, we felt right at home. The hosts are super polite, considerate and helpful. The home is in the center of the old town, transporting the residents right back in time. You can expect friendly nods and smiles when you walk around the neighborhood. Pretty much everything is walkable. The home has been tastefully designed and is neat and clean.
