Candice ist eine sensationelle gastgeberin & wir haben uns direkt wie zuhause gefühlt. die gemeinsame zeit mit tollen gesprächen vor dem kamin waren herzerwärmend & haben uns den aufenthalt umso mehr versüsst. wir kommen jederzeit gern wieder!

Fritz was an incredible host who went above and beyond to assist us after a long and stressful road trip. He was even prepared to help take us to UMtata when we had an issue with our vehicle which we were thankfully able to resolve. We loved his attention to detail and extra touches. Definitely a Super Host deluxe who takes guest services to the next level ! You were our blessing of kindness and calmness , Thankyou

Het tuinhuisie is een fijne plek om te verblijven. Een heerlijke stop tussen de Drakensbergen en Addo. Aankomen in een ´huisie´ waar aan alles aandacht is besteed deed ons heel goed. Daarbij is Amanda ook nog eens erg vriendelijk en attent. Wat wil je nog meer?

Delightful cottage on the banks of the Kraai River

This was my second stay at Cora’s cottage, and it felt like coming home. The cottage is well-equipped and private. There are beautiful trails on the farm to walk, hike and run. I enjoyed a swim in the river and listening to the sounds of nature. I’d definitely recommend this for an individual or for a family/friend stay.

The Tree House Coffee Shop and Guesthouse Room 4

We were only there 1 night more would have been better. We ordered lunch at the cafe to eat them and there and a dinner as well as breakfast. Dinner and breakfast was delivered to us in the room. Food was tasty and lot of it. We took a walk round the neighbourhood to stretch our legs after a long drive. The room was spot on and relaxing in the wooded glade. A very welcome shower. Everyone was helpful and Megan gave us advice for our onward route. Very useful due to roadworks with lots of "evil" speed humps to slow traffic (do them at walking pace) and varyable speed limits l was able to journey plan.

This host offered a pleasant stay. The accommodation is exactly as seen on pictures and the host was hospitable. We forgot a few things in the room & the host was kind enough to call us and notify us. Thank you Nana

The Loft at the Farm House

What a beautiful gem we found. We should have stayed for a week. So much to do. Who had a mountainbike ride deep into the mountains, swam in the icy stream, and explored the cave at about 5km in. Th surroundings are spectacular. Phyll's knowledge about the archeology is astonishing and her passion for the history of the area is worth listening to. The loft was so much more than we expected and we had a wonderful rest in between the cycling and walking. Thanx Phyll for letting us share in a little of your heaven

Linky's farmstay is in a very rural and beautiful location outside Maclear on the gravel road leading towards the Naudes Nek pass. It was a perfect location for us and had great facilities including a well equipped kitchen and lovely lapa. Linky will also provide dinner and breakfast if you give her notice. We had made a very late notice booking and Linky was super flexible and accommodating about it. One of the other guests, a regular there was telling me how lovely her dinners are. We had a stunning breakfast the following morning. A 5 ⭐️ experience all round.
