Great budget-friendly location, and amenities were still great! Kids had a blast exploring the property, lots to do and loved having an indoor pool (needs painted) in spring. Our unit had games and plenty of kitchen wares, wine glasses, towel hooks and sitting space. Family room furniture was different than the grey couch pictured, but comfy. The patio seating was different than pictures with a patio couch, table and chair set, but it was great- perfect for lounging, listening to the surf and watching the amazing wildlife! We saw alligators, turtles and heron and diving ducks in the marsh. There was a fountain outside our balcony than was on 9:30-9:30. Quiet hours were well-observed by other guests. Walk to the beach was about 10 minutes, but easy and there was a shuttle if needed. Easy access to laundry and to the elevator and stairs. It was nice having the Island Grill/shop on-site and Coco’s on the Beach. Rented beach chair set through ShoreBeachService .com

Teena’s place was beautiful -the beds are very comfortable and nice to have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was so nice to be right on the beach and see the sunrise. We saw a lot of birds, including a resident pair of eagles! We were fascinated by the length of the difference between low and high tide and it was neat to experience it all. The indoor pool and hottub was nice to have since the outdoor pool wasn’t technically open yet (even though we did lounge on the chairs and dip in slightly when we got hot.) We enjoyed how peaceful and private this area of the island is. We would go back again -thank you, Teena, for providing a lovely home away from home for us.

The unit was as described, and Jennifer was incredible in offering recommendations and timely responses. The beds were comfortable, the view was beautiful, and the furnishings were clean and new. The unit is small for more than four people. We had 5 family members, and it felt tight when we were all together, but mostly we were out so it was not a problem. Our two kids (8/6) enjoyed the pools, and we all enjoyed the beach bar, Cocos. The facility is dated compared to other locations, but it worked for our young family. If it were just me and my husband, we'd probably choose a different area with more walkability and newer amenities. There were plenty of bike paths to get around. We rented bikes, which were helpful as there was not much walkability to food and beverage, as we did not want to drive everywhere. We would for sure come back with our family.

As advertised. A pleasant condo for our family of five. Well stocked on beach items. Furniture/beds comfortable and livable. Hosts responsive and accommodating.

The sun rise is beautiful! And be sure to check out the sunset when the tide is low. The Hidden Gem has a well stocked kitchen, plenty of storage, and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. We appreciated having a screened in porch a washer/dryer with laundry soap and security that controls entry. For bike riders, the paths by the complex are in good shape. Location is fantastic; out of the congestion but very easy to navigate to all parts of the island and to Bluffton. Theresa thank you for sharing the Hidden Gem with us. We had a wonderful time.

This was our first time to Hilton Head Island and we can’t wait to come back! I’m so thankful we landed on such a serene and peaceful part of the island. Eric and Angie’s place had everything we needed for the week…and the condo was incredibly clean! We rented bikes from the Bike Doctor, which was so much fun and easy to navigate. Great recommendations for eating out to Salty Dog Cafe, Crazy Crab and Skull Creek. We cooked most of our meals at the condo and even caught some fresh shrimp for dinner. The pool, hot tub, and beach were just a few steps away to enjoy and explore. Everything was as described and the instructions were very detailed and easy to follow. Eric and Angie were great to answer messages timely and with kindness. We feel very lucky to make so many new family memories here!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this condo! It had everything that we needed, the place was very clean, & it was decorated nicely. I loved that it included beach chairs, umbrella, & even a cooler! It also had other necessities like a hair dryer, kid items, keurig, all kitchen items you would need to cook.. it had everything! We would definitely stay here again!! The only thing I would suggest is having a sound machine if you are a light sleeper. The AC turning on/off is very loud. Other than that, the place was perfect!! We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay and would book again! The unit was exactly like the pictures. The only thing others should be aware of is the entry door is located up a flight of stairs. Not a problem for us but could be for others.

My husband and I loved our stay at Pelican Watch! It was a great location with super easy access to the beach. We brought our dog who enjoyed playing on the beach and long walks around the island. The condo was super clean and felt very homey. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

We absolutely loved waking up to the beyond beautiful views over the sand dunes and out across the water!! Private, secure location with great amenities and lots of charm! The back porch and private locked entry out to the walkway to beach was an added pleasant surprise. We look forward to a return visit!!

Sarah's condo was in an excellent location. Right on the water and close to shops/restaurants in Folly Beach. There was plenty of room for our party of 7 adults and Sarah was extremely responsive.

So often rental properties don’t match the description. This one did not disappoint. Seemed to have been renovated recently. Spacious, clean, and a great view of the ocean. We loved it and Wild Dunes is one of the best resorts in the Carolinas. Will be back!

Great place. End unit by the pool with the slide, not the pool in the initial photo. This unit is also by the BBQ area, wasn’t a problem. If you go out the back gate you can access the each easily through the Westin or get a morning coffee there.

John's place was exactly as advertised - nice views, easy walk to the beach and outstanding sunrises, comfortable beds and seating, and a well-equipped kitchen. On arrival we followed the GPS to the published address, but that led to the wrong auto entrance. Only the "Wild Dunes Residential Entrance" works for first time entry. The large outdoor pool was open earlier in the season than at some other properties and was great for a quick but chilly swim. John was very responsive to questions. Check out was quick and undemanding. Recommended!

Wonderful stay at Folly! Condo was perfect for our family of 7 adults and 2 children. Just a perfect location and space. We loved being able to easily walk to shops, restaurants, playground and pickle ball. Having Charleston so close provided a midweek break from sand and a fun opportunity to explore. We all appreciated the quality of the local restaurants, the touch of easily accessible night life but mostly the gorgeous beach. The unit itself was clean, and very comfortable. Would highly recommend and hope to book this unit again!

We had an incredible week-long stay at this beautiful condo, which was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 young children. The condo was spacious, immaculately clean, and offered stunning views of both the ocean and the golf course. All three bedrooms were generously sized, and we never felt crowded. The location couldn’t be better—just steps away from the beach and even closer to the pool, which provided endless hours of fun for our entire family. The easy parking and short drive to Charleston made exploring the area a breeze. Plus, there are fantastic restaurants both nearby and in the city. Steve was an outstanding host—friendly, responsive, and very easy to work with. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this condo to anyone. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
