This place really took us by surprise. We drove 5.5 hours each way, just to visit and our biggest regret was not booking longer! Worth every bit of the money and drive. The place was private and peaceful. Very safe and secure and very quiet so you can really enjoy yourself. Really feels like you have the whole place and surrounding areas to yourself! Utensils and appliances wise you could see Jane has real care and attention to detail, everything you could need or think of was provided. And that too of high quality not just your budget items. The bbq was a proper bbq which was a joy to use. The hot tub come with lighting and jets. Even the pots and pans were tefal! A lot of time and money has gone into it all. Garden was well lit also for those late evenings. Was lovely to meet Ben also. So much more to say but we won’t ruin all the delightful surprises! Very happy with the stay and we will be back for sure. Thank you! And see you next time.

we throughly enjoyed our stay here. excellent location. cabin was clean, homely and spacious! would stay here again. only downfall would be the jets on the hot tub could do with being updated as some of them never worked so we had to take it in turns. overall a fantastic stay!

Had such a lovely stay. The hot tub was such a nice touch. Once it gets going it’s really hot! I must say the bed was really a dream to sleep in. I text Julia a few times and she responded very quickly. Would highly recommend for a lovely night away ☺️

This place is a hidden gem. Rosie and Jim are excellent hosts, they made our stay incredible and we had the most wonderful new year. The house is better than in pictures, the surrounding fields and beautiful landscapes are truly incredible. We had a great stay and would love to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay, beautiful surroundings. Visited Ennerdale water for the first time and it turned out to be real hidden gem of Lake District. Nice to relax in hot tub after hiking.

Such a lovely spot for a family getaway. The patio looked out to woodland which was perfect for a secluded hot tub retreat. Location was great for tourist activities like Alnwick and Bamburgh, plus the zoo at the end of the road was awesome! The underfloor heating made the cabin toasty warm in what was a cold Feb half term!

Me and my partner stayed over for valentines weekend, the lodge was lovely, bed was so comfy! Hot tub was perfect on the cold nights, we had a lush weekend.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Julia’s charming lodge with my family to celebrate our son’s 30th birthday, it exceeded all my expectations. The space was impeccably clean, with very comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen that made me feel right at home. The location and views are just fantastic, it is just under a two mile walk to the lovely twice brewed pub and Hadrian s wall. Julia was incredibly hospitable and responsive to my queries The thoughtful touches, like the fabulous welcome basket, well stock kitchen cupboards with all the essentials and of course the lovely kind touch of a very tasty homemade fresh cream cake and Prosecco on ice when we arrived. All rooms having well equipped en-suite with all the essentials, shampoo etc. all bedrooms also having your own door leading to the beautiful outside area with chickens welcoming us every morning. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting this area and definitely look forward to returning

Lovely farm, host very friendly. Pod was perfect for our stay and very cosy. Facilities were clean and well maintained.

Lovely caravan, in a peaceful location with beautiful surroundings. Perfectly located close to Alnwick, Alnmouth, Bamburgh etc. Will be back.

Great cabin in beautiful grounds. It had everything we needed, an amazing shower, a great log burner with some logs available, everything we needed in the kitchen, comfortable beds and great outdoor areas to relax in. Hosts were warm, welcoming, very helpful and responsive to needs. Would definitely recommend!

We’ve just had a 2 night stay at Hugo’s Pod and WoW 😍 what a stay it was!! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The Pod was absolutely immaculate and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect 🤩 everything was spotless and smelled AMAZING! We also had an amazing hour in Harvey’s Paddock with our little dog, Oscar, and i don’t know who enjoyed it more, us or him 😂 everything was so secure in both the Pod and the Paddock we didn’t need to worry about anything at all. The hosts were so amazing too and so helpful and friendly 🙂 we honestly had the best time and not one bad thing to say about any of it 👍🏼 Thank you so much for making our stay so perfect and we can not wait to come back! 😍

Lovely clean caravan In beautiful peaceful surroundings. The caravan park itself only had around 5 caravans so nice and quiet, the donkeys were a welcome sight too! First ever Airbnb for all of us which went very smoothly so big thank you to Rachel for her advice (and the park warden who found my wallet and arranged to post it out for me!) Stayed to walk scafell pike which went very well. Big things!

This was the best place I’ve stayed in when visiting the Lake District. It was so peaceful and the cabin was immaculate. There’s lovely walks in the area and Windermere is a 15 minute drive away. I wouldn’t change anything about it and will definitely be returning!

Such a warm welcome and hand over seamlessly organised beforehand by Sharon and Paul. Everything explained well and such a generous hamper provided. The accommodation is spot on with everything you need to hand. The view is breathtaking and hard to tear yourself away from but great suggestions for days, meals etc given. Sharon and Pail are excellent, thoughtful hosts. A great place to stay.

Fell farm hideaway glamping pod was extremely clean, and beautiful place to stay, has everything you need and in a lovely peaceful location, the host was very helpful and friendly and responded to questions very promptly, I would highly recommend.

Spot on! Exactly what was needed. Rachel was great with communication & couldn’t do more if needed. Logs were in abundance for the log burner which is rare 👌🏼 little problem with the hot water lagging but nothing to worry about, managed it ourselves but maybe mention to Rachel to see if there’s a knack to it. Still 5* ok everything, the views out back were 10/10 & we really enjoyed it! Would definitely recommend! Thanks again Rachel! 💙

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean and well-equipped. The location has a beautiful view and was very quiet, yet close to both Innerleithen and Peebles. We would definitely stay again!
