Wonderful stay! Michael’s place was just what we were looking for in a central beach location on the Outer Banks. He provided great suggestions for local sites and restaurants, checked to make sure we were comfortable, and was responsive to our questions. Would stay again!

This listing is exactly what you see and is perfect for one or two people. I loved the decor, it was very quiet, and the walk to the beach is 5 minutes on the nose (I timed it). I had a few questions and the hosts were very friendly with a fast response time. I loved the outdoor shower to rinse all the sand off. I would stay again and highly recommend.

Beautiful home and wonderful stay. Perfect retreat for my visit home to NC. Warm and welcoming, awesome amenities. All of my friends and family wanted this Airbnb stay link so they can book it for future stays. Thanks again! I hope to be back soon!

Catherine could not possibly have been a bigger help in making our stay enjoyable. Everyone around town that we spoke to spoke highly of her kindness and she proved that to be correct. I can’t wait until the next opportunity my golf buddy and I have a chance to stay with her.

Victoria’s place was perfect for a weekend getaway with our dogs! The space was clean and well kept. The location is great and close to our favorite spots.

My family and I were in a pinch and we were able to rent this place day of! It was the week of 4th of July where places were hard to find. I was skeptical but the room was nicer than the pictures make it look! The resort was great, the pool was clean and big and had bathrooms close by! The playground was better than most parks these days. Really easy access to the beach. Restaurants within walking distance were delicious, TenOsix for breakfast and Holy cow creamery for ice cream are must haves. Easy and accessible rooms all with a good view. Beds were comfortable and the rooms have a very relaxing atmosphere. This place saved our family vacation on short notice and we will definitely be staying again. We’ve found our home away from home.

Hayley's place was a great setup for my friend and myself, we had plenty of room. I would like to come back for a stay with my family. I can see their place being great for families with kids. The hosts were so helpful with local recommendations and you can tell they really love the area. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable and the ability to outside was lovely. Would definitely come back here again!

From start to finish Richard was so kind and thoughtful. When the previous guests had to leave really early, he let us know we could check in early and he also inquired about what beverage we’d like waiting there for us after the long drive. We arrived to find, not just a bottle of wine, but also a meat/cheese/cracker tray and green seedless grapes. We really enjoyed them in the evening when we just wanted a little something to snack on. Richard really thought of everything; flashlights for night walks, walkie talkies, a Bluetooth speaker and anything you’d need for the beach. Two outside showers are there to take a complete shower or just spray off. The bathroom is also nice and big with plenty of linens; there’s even a bidet! (life-changing) Also, string lights on the deck made the outdoor space so beautiful at night. The walk to the beach was very short and the beach wasn’t overly crowded. Hands down, Richard’s place is our favorite Airbnb so far. We hope to be back next year!

Very comfortable nest! Very high quality bedding & towels. Great water pressure in the shower head and the AC was nice and cold. Location was perfect! Owners were quick to communicate and make sure we had everything we needed.

So I highly, highly recommend staying here. Perfect location in a very quiet neighborhood! The host’s were amazing! I will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I stayed at Max and Debbie’s place for the second time and it was even better than the first time. They had a welcome basket (did the first time too), but this one included a personal card and balloon, as my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. We also were able to meet our hosts this time and they are great people. The weather was fantastic (not sure if they had anything to do with that) and we were always comfortable. We spent a lot of our time exploring the area as we always do, but the place was great to relax at. Whether we were out in/by the pool, or watching tv in the living room, we felt like we were at home. We will be guests as long as Max and Debbie open up their space to us.

This is a lovely spot if you’re looking for a calm and peaceful setting close to the beach. Neighborhood is quiet. Distance to the beach is a small walk to a private area. Nice little coffee shops around the corner. The house is just perfect for a couple of people. I enjoyed my time to reset. Lots of local spots to dine out. Very clean and peaceful. Friendly hosts.

Sharon’s Airbnb was absolutely wonderful! From arriving at this pristine landscaped property , to entering the fresh smelling lovely decorated clean room, we felt relaxed right away . Every detail was clearly described and exactly communicated. Sharon’s price was very fair . We had complete privacy all the time. A grocery store is right across the street. We cooked a couple meals right in the Airbnb ourselves. We will definitely be renting this lovely place again .I only texted Sharon with a compliment and she responded very quickly, which was nice. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic stay. Exactly as advertised, spotless, spacious, and usefully equipped. Hot shower, comfy bed, WiFi and TV all worked perfectly. We had a restful stay for Thanksgiving and really enjoyed the off-season vibe of Manteo and the OBX. OP

The apartment was very clean and spacious. Hosts had clear instructions and touring suggestions. This air bnb is right around the corner from the Wright Brothers National Park and any easy drive to other sights. There is a private walkway to the water to watch the gorgeous sunsets. Highly recommend.

Our first Airbnb stay—and what a dream! Reese & Cayce’s place in Kitty Hawk was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated with surf-inspired touches, local photography, and thoughtful details like fresh flowers, snacks, tea, and even dog towels. We were greeted warmly, given helpful beach parking info and dog-friendly food recs, and made to feel truly at home. The bed was super comfy, the couch shifted into a daybed for cozy nighttime TV, and there was a desk—perfect for future extended stays when we have to work. The hammocks were such a relaxing bonus, and we loved how quiet the area was while still being close to everything. The location was ideal for a peaceful escape. We especially enjoyed walks to the Wright Brothers Multi-Use Path—just a short stroll away—for breathtaking sunrises and colorful sunsets with our pup. Even with cold and stormy weather, the space was so welcoming that we didn’t mind at all. We can’t wait to return. 5 shining stars! Thanks for the hospitality!

We had a great time staying at Lidia’s place :) Walkable to restaurants, bars and beach. A prefect little get away. Would recommend bringing a sound machine as the garage door lets in a lot of sound. Space was comfortable and clean. Thanks!

Sammie’s place is the perfect beach pad! My boyfriend and I spent the weekend in OBX for a work trip and brought our dog. Sammie’s place is located in the perfect area — a quiet neighborhood full of friendly neighbors and just a quick walk to the Ocean and Sound. Outside of the neighborhood had lots of restaurants and stores which was super convenient. We felt very safe, the Airbnb was cute and clean, and Sammie had welcome beers for us and the perfect booklet outlining details for our stay and her recommendations. Sammie’s communication was great and how accommodating she was for our dog was very much appreciated. I’d recommend this place in a heartbeat — it’s the perfect size and has everything you could need (privacy, bikes, beach chairs, an outdoor shower, cleanliness…I could go on and on). I look forward to staying with Sammie again in the future!

Lazy Days was a wonderful gem! In a quiet neighborhood VERY close to all the sites, great food, and beach! It was a great place to relax in the evenings with the closed in porch and darts after all the site seeing we did. Sean was very communicative. Highly recommend!

This place was awesome! Perfect space for us, easy bike to the beach, right on the trail to the kitty hawk woods, and there’s a shared pool that was excellent. I hope to stay here again!

We so enjoyed our stay at the Spoon Rest! In fact, it’s our new go-to Airbnb for our OBX travels. You cannot beat the view of the ocean from the living room and the sweet treats that were left for us made the stay so special. The space was immaculately clean, thoughtfully furnished, and unbelievably comfortable. We felt right at home. It was restful, serene, and so nice to be close to everything. Thank you again! We really loved how welcoming and accommodating they were. Tiffany and her husband were both pleasant people to talk to, and really helpful when we had questions or needed something. We would definitely stay here again!!!
