Nice quiet get away, super friendly and right near several vineyards. Wife and I loved the horses that come up to the gate. Plus, the fire pit at night with the background noise was the perfect ambient noise for us getting out of the city to relax. Kelly & Al also very personable and make you feel right at home.

The inside space was well decorated & clean. There are air purifiers, dehumidifiers, good attention to details. The outside areas, pastures, outbldgs on right/left need attention. The paved road is very narrow & windy, no true shoulder and not as enjoyable for dog walking as I had anticipated. Their multiple dogs are very loud, barking and growling which was ongoing almost every entry, exit with my small young dog. If your dog is reactive, this would not be a good fit. My dog is in therapy dog training- my 3rd, and was fine. For dogs to just be called when this occurred is simply poor dog management. One should not have to deal with this - we stay at -only dog friendly Airbnbs. It is surprising no one else has mentioned this in a review. I feel if I messaged privately , its unfair to other future customers. I definitely would not have booked if I knew this. My next Airbnb had a large loose dog, again on a very large farm, who had impeccable manners as was described in listing

What a perfect getaway location! Ruby's place was just what we needed, clean, beautiful, and so spacious, we truly had everything we could ask for. We so appreciated Ruby's great communication, flexibility and attentive nature for our stay, she was so helpful! 10/10 recommend!

This home was the perfect fit for our large group of 14. We stayed over the Christmas holiday and the place was very accommodating! Larkin was very responsive and helped out immediately with any questions we had. The kitchen was fully stocked and all the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of towels and blankets, dishes, etc. for our entire group. The location is a small quaint town. The Blue Crab down the street had some delicious food but other than that there isn’t much around so you definitely need to hit up the store. The Food Lion is less than 10min away for groceries. Williamsburg is 30min away and Yorktown about 45min away- we visited both towns to explore. Overall a marvelous stay!

Cozy, comfy and super clean roomy ranch home in a quiet neighborhood. Visiting the area for a wedding and touristing with extended family. House set up well with both a living room and a family room which made it possible for quiet relaxing and socializing to happen at the same time in different areas. We would definitely stay here again.

Gina’s cottage is a little slice of heaven overlooking a beautiful stream and lake. Very private and wonderful for our two dogs who ran free and had the time of their lives..

I enjoyed my stay at this location while I was working in the area. The house was very clean and had a great view of the river. I loved the area and all of the amenities that she had in the home. Would definitely return.
