Ben and Laura maintain a beautiful space. Our group felt relaxed and comfortable; the arrangements were flexible for children, singles, couples, and my elderly parents. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels and the kitchen had all the necessities. The views are gorgeous it feels quiet and secluded even though you are moments from the busy surrounding city areas. Ben and Laura were helpful and responsive with the few needs we had. This was an absolute gem of a place. It’s the perfect size for 3-4 people, especially with the outdoor space. We went over spring break, knowing that the weather would most likely be uncooperative, but found that the deck is perfect for rain or sun! There’s a propane fire pit for added comfort and really nice chairs for reading or morning coffee. My 7-year-old niece played on the beach with her sand toys and went on a shell search on the day we did have some sun. She had a blast! We would have loved to take out the kayaks, but it was a bit too cold and windy during this particular weekend, although the water there is very calm. I would say the only minor drawback was a very old stove, so it might not be the best place for extensive meal prep, but we found all kinds of places to go in town and did use the stove top to make breakfasts. They even provided the coffee! Melissa was extremely efficient with her responses and was always very friendly. I would love to go back when it’s summer!

Grateful for another pleasant stay at Joan’s… always seasonally and tastefully decorated, with ample space & sleep options. Living area on one floor is very accommodating to our needs. Water & mountain views nearby make it a desirable location for us. Flexibility with check-in is very much appreciated. We look forward to our next visit!

We had an amazing stay at this house! The view was incredible & we loved the hot tub! We never got to take advantage of the kayaks but it was nice that they were available!

You truly won’t find a more responsive and helpful host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, felt comfortable and at home. The location is beautiful and is just like the pictures. The home had everything we needed, including extra phone chargers for those who forgot them. We had 8 adult women for a “girls getaway” and it was the right size for us. Plenty of room to be together and places to relax in smaller groups or have a rest away from the group. The view and the reviews are what made us reserve this home and we weren’t disappointed. Now it’s your turn to enjoy!

We had a nice stay at Michael’s place, we enjoyed the river and garden and how much he put into his outdoor space. The home was clean and well kept. He had lots of recommendations for the river area and we appreciated that.

We enjoyed our week at SK's lakeside home. The private dock and included paddle boats/kayaks were awesome, we used them several times during our stay. The area was peaceful and private. SK was very responsive and a wonderful host, he even had items quickly delivered that were not found in the home. The home itself was very clean and spacious, Thank you for a wonderful week!

Very peaceful cottage to relax and enjoy everything the PNW has to offer. With beautiful views of the Puget Sound and ferries coming and going all day, the cottage was exactly as deceived and depicted on the listing. Although small, Stephen and Kelsey take full advantage of the entire space. The only negative I would say is you have to park up the hill and walk down to the cottage, but there is a little pullout to park and drop your stuff before you do that. Otherwise, I would highly recommend to anyone needing a little getaway from the bustle of real life.

My small family of three had a very cozy stay on a peaceful and remote feeling part of Vashon Island. We enjoyed most meals in town but kitchen was well equipped to prep simple meals. Our favorite trails for running were nearby at Dockton Hiking Trails and we spent a lovely afternoon finding sea stars and jelly fish in the Dockton Harbor. They had a wonderful playground as well that my 6 year old enjoyed at this park. Grateful for the slow mornings we had sipping coffee looking at the amazing diversity of birds and various watercraft floating along the water. Highly recommend!

We loved this little place! It was the perfect place for us to celebrate our anniversary! The view was gorgeous and we truly felt that is was as peaceful as it could’ve been! It was the perfect getaway!

Jennifer’s cottage was incredible! Located in a very peaceful neighborhood, it was quiet and serene. The view of the lake was wonderful to wake up to. We had everything we needed for full comfort, including the grill and hot tub! I stayed here in February and enjoyed it very much with the light snow. I will definitely be looking to stay again when the weather gets warm. Jennifer was super responsive and clear about instructions, too. This cabin has everything you need 😊

Absolutely loved this space, spent 4 nights while skiing at Crystal and it was extremely nice and remote without being majorly off the beaten path

Incredible, relaxing stay on the Puget Sound. So peaceful, right on the water, huge yard with lots of privacy and room for kids to safely play. Quiet and picturesque neighborhood. The home itself is cozy, beautifully decorated and designed with vintage and antique touches throughout. Kitchen is well-stocked with all the basics! The owners have provided local coffee and a Chemex- we enjoyed morning coffee watching the sunrise over the water. Highly recommend this fantastic space. I hope to return some day for a longer stay. The owners are very kind and helpful also!

We had an incredible weekend at the cottage! The house is perfect and has such a beautiful setting. Everything about the house was very intentional. We had everything we needed and more! We will absolutely be staying here again!

Had a 1 night stay while I was working out of town. Karis place was perfect for myself and crew. it was 4 minutes to our job site and the perfect place to relax after an exhausting days work.

My sister, son, & I, along with our 3 small dogs felt right at home in this very welcoming & cozy cabin. The feel of it was exactly what we were looking for. It had a wood stove, along with heating, which made the place smell so relaxing & kept us warm. There was a couple huge tv's with roku setup so we were able to chill out & have a good time watching movies & shows while enjoying the beautiful snowy scenery that was surrounding the cabin. Our dogs enjoyed exploring the yard & my son enjoyed sliding around in the slippery snow. There was even a hot tub over looking the back yard. The shampoo & conditioner in the shower was great as well, made our hair feel very soft and shiny. I even plan to get the same stuff for myself now that I used it there & liked it so much lol. There was plenty of dishes & whatever else you need for cooking/eating, even a plastic kids plate for my 2 year old son so he didn't break the glass ones. We all had a great experience out at Brian's cabin!! 😊

Really beautiful place! Art and views are stunning. Beds really comfortable. Only one shower, but otherwise perfect for our family! Would LOVE to return in the summer so kids can play in the lake.

We visited the cabin for a relaxing "reading retreat" with five women. We loved that the rooms were spread out and offered privacy, but the gathering rooms were large enough to seat us all comfortably. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. A highlight of the weekend was enjoying the sun and water views from the firepit area. I think this would be an excellent cabin for two families with kids to enjoy. The hot tub layout is not suited for more than two adults. It is mentioned in the listing, but we were still surprised at how far away the water is from the house in the winter. With a bit of snow, it's really difficult to even get remotely close to the water line. Not a dealbreaker, but we thought booking a "lakefront" cabin would allow cold plunging and it was not possible. Fang was super responsive and check-in check-out were a breeze. The town of Roslyn was super cute and coffee at Basecamp and dinner at the Mexican restaurant is highly recommended!

Beautiful view and very comfortable home for the six of us. Annie was a wonderful host and it was nice to have a kitchen that had the utensils, pans etc that we needed. There are several steps to the house, but they provided a handrail and lighten which really helped. This place is a winner!

Hamid was an excellent host, and the view was exactly what we were hoping for. We had a fantastic stay and would gladly book again on our next visit to Seattle.

Each visit gets better! Being able to use the deck furniture on a dry day and spend time on the lake on a warm day is spectacular!

It's even better than the pictures. If you're thinking "oh, that place looks cool!", it's even better. Very relaxed, very quiet. A two day stay recharged us like we haven't had in a long time. We'll definitely be back.
