This was our second time staying at Jill & Steve's place, and it won't be our last! The space is immaculate and comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of living space. The river is beautiful, and the area is quiet. There were a couple of issues during this stay, one of which Jill & Steve warned us about ahead of time (and compensated us for generously), while the other wasn't able to be fixed during our stay, but will no doubt be resolved very quickly. Still, the stay was well worth it, and the hosts were very helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this place, and I look forward to our next visit!

What a beautiful spot! Ton of room for a group of people to have their own space. Hot tub was amazing and very easy to use with clear instructions. The yard and beach/waterfall was amazing (even in the winter)! Plenty of things available to keep a group entertained and having fun. The fridge and freezer were empty so we had all the room we needed for groceries (very much appreciated). The complimentary coffee was delish! Would recommend this rental and would love to go back!

Wonderful spot with hot tub to relax in and unwind! Home was well equipped and had everything we needed for a night away! Friendly host! Dog friendly and fenced in yard! All the perks :) would recommend!

5 Stars – A Perfect Retreat! Red Horseshoe Retreat on Horseshoe Lake was exactly what I needed – peaceful, rejuvenating, and beautiful. From the moment we arrived, the views of the lake were stunning, especially while relaxing in the hot tub – absolute bliss! The lake house is cozy, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The beds were super comfy, and there were plenty of games to enjoy during our downtime. Lois and David are wonderful hosts – kind, responsive, and always making sure their guests feel welcome and cared for. This truly felt like a home away from home, and I left feeling refreshed in mind, body, and soul. I can’t wait to return!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect to visit the surrounding area such as the local Wineries, Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove. At the end of the day, the log home was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a sunset on the lake. We made great memories this week. Thank you for sharing this beautiful log home with us.

We booked this place last minute for a wedding band on a long weekend and Catherine and Daniel were so accommodating letting us house them in this home. They felt so comfortable being in this big, private space with everything so nearby. The place was perfect and could not have asked for better hosts. They highly recommend!!

I wanted to express my gratitude for allowing my family to stay at your beautiful property. It was an ideal choice for our holiday getaway from the city, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property's remote location allowed my six year old son to see many stars, a rare sight for him. We were also impressed by the spectacular ocean view, which was accessible from the comfort of our living room. As a family with an autistic child, we were concerned about whether the property would meet our son's needs, but he had a wonderful time and is already missing the place. The place was prestine and very modern. The bedrooms are spacious and beds are more comfy than home. Everything about the place was perfect including the kitchen which was well stocked with cookware. I would stay at this place again without a doubt.
