The house and gardens were absolutely perfect for our annual get together. From multiple spacious living spaces and a well equipped kitchen to comfortable bedrooms the whole house is exceptionally well thought out and a real home from home. The real standout though is the outside space. We spent lots of afternoons and evenings outside on the patio under the gorgeous pergola or in the hot tub and the space is peaceful with beautiful views across to the Malvern hills. Dionne and Mark were superb hosts and very responsive to any questions we had. All in all a fantastic week and we are all keen to revisit the house soon.

We stayed at Badgers Rest for a combination of big family birthdays - 6 adults and 4 children. We’d been looking forward to it for a long time and it did not disappoint: lots of space for the adults and children to enjoy indoors and outdoors. We had everything we needed and enjoyed spending quality family time together as we could just get on with relaxing! Hot tub was a bonus and the birthday people were spoilt by having the garden room decorated for them. The welcome basket was much appreciated. The house was near a busy road which we knew before and the cars did not keep us awake at night so it was no problem at all 😊 Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Great place and good to be able to use swimming pool and gym

We had a great stay! The house is very spacious, with comfy beds and nicely decorated rooms. The bathrooms and bedrooms were spotless, and the huge hot tub was a highlight, though the filter was broken which meant quite a few wasps were floating around. The garden was a good size, and the peaceful location made it a relaxing getaway. The pool table was a great addition, although i'd recommended bringing your own cues. The host was friendly and very responsive. Shops like Aldi and B&M are just a five minute drive, and the town centre, with plenty of shops and a market, is only ten minutes away. Parking was easy, with space for 3-4 cars. A few downsides: the TVs and game console are a bit outdated. The house could use some refurbishment, but overall, it was great value for money. Despite the very minor issues, we really enjoyed our stay. With a few updates, it could easily be five stars. We’d still happily return and recommend it to others looking for a spacious, very affordable break

8 of us had a wonderful time staying here, the space is beautiful and well laid out. The space is fantastic social space for family get togethers; Sonos speakers, comfy sofas and a huge dining table made for cosy and fun evenings. We loved lighting the wood burner in the evenings and starter kindling is provided to get you started. We cooked large family meals in the aga. Many hours were spent also playing pool and ping-pong in the basement. There is however a musty smell in there which is quite strong and I would personally not want to sleep down there (there are bunkbeds for kids). The bedrooms are large and there is lots of room. Some of our party needed to work remotely and there is a lot of space to find a quiet area and actually two desks with desk chairs which was very handy Susan is very communicative and a very friendly host. Thank you!

We had the most incredible stay at the barn in Knowle, it completely exceeded our expectations! The place was absolutely stunning, with beautiful interiors and everything we could possibly need for a perfect family getaway. The pool, gym and hot tub were fantastic! we had so much fun, and my two young boys absolutely loved every minute. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was immaculate and fully equipped, making it so easy to cook comfortably for our family. Paul and his wife were wonderful, friendly hosts who made us feel so welcome. We honestly can’t wait to return, highly recommend!

The accommodation served the 6 of us really well. The area is quiet , but £6 in an uber gets you into the city. Ricky was really helpful and let us check in early without any additional costs. When we are next working In the area , we will 100% be booking here again.

We managed the get this booking very last minute and we weren’t disappointed in the slightest, the rooms were beautiful, so much space including the garden. It had everything we needed. We really loved the decor. But for us the hosts made the trip. So thoughtful and considerate, and despite our own lack of packing skills, kindly sorted us out, truely grateful, such a kind gesture. Really great communication and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout. Definitely looking to stay again!

We stayed almost a week here as a family and it was nice, it had everything we needed, was quiet and clean. There were 2 beds for the kids, and one for a couple (which IMHO could've been a bit bigger, but did work in the end). I have mixed feelings on the surrounding (I'm a bit unable to tell because there was a strike at the time and garbage was not being picked up, so, the neighborhood was very much really dirty and well, no place seemed really nice with all the garbage around -- not the owners fault though). The biggest annoyance was probably the additional required deposit (which was actually returned at the end of the rental, but still, I think having this managed out of airbnb did made me feel a bit unconfortable, even though it turned out ok in the end).

Clean, warm and well decorated. Really great for large groups. One of our best stays in Wolverhampton !

Lovely house in a great location. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. 30 mins walking from house to station to New Street. We had a 3 year old with us and visited the Sealife Centre, funfair, library, Legoworld, trip on the canal and Kenilworth Castle and Abbey. Food options very good.

Ideal location for commuting to Birmingham and westbrom. Lots off nice restraints in the surrounding area.

For us it was ideal because of local commitments. The proximity of the Lickey Hills made this an ideal place to retreat to in order to relax as well as keep local appointments. Nigel was a great host.

La estancia fue muy cómoda, la casa está muy bien ubicada para poder ir al NEC. Es posible que tengas que desplazarte en coche para ir a otros lugares, pero está todo cerca y la tranquilidad del sitio lo merece. Repetiría de nuevo en este lugar. ¡Gracias por acogernos!

We really enjoyed staying at Kit's place. Super clean, bright and homely. Just like the photos. Kit is a great host - great communication with us, always replied promptly and gave us good information. We had a nice welcome: Kit had put the heating on (it was freezing outside) and left us a great welcome pack of drinks and snacks. The location was perfect for us. A short walk to the station. The house had plenty of space for dining and relaxing; the bedrooms had enough clothes-hanging space. The bathroom and kitchen - also spacious - were very clean and bright. The beds were comfortable. We would come here again. Highly recommended.
