We walked in the property in awe..!! What an amazing place “house on the hill” is. My wife and I couldn’t stop looking out at the view even at night time when it was dark. Under floor heating and a log fire certainly keeps you cozy throughout your stay. We had a bath on both nights together and we could sit side by side it’s that big and take in the view of the stars and planets. That was a first for both of us..!!! The bed is that comfy my wife had decided we need one exactly like it and the same size, which I’ve agreed too. We took in a day in Elie, Pitwimmen, St Monans & Anstruther. We had breakfast at the Pavillion and meal at Ship Inn. Both places were lovely and great food. We haven’t had the luxury like this before so we are going to book again for next year. We had a wonderful stay at Ainslie’s place. Excellent accommodation, very welcoming. I can very highly recommend as a lovely place to stay!

Fantastic house, great facilities, loved the jacuzzi. Stayed for a week of golf and was very central to our needs. Host was available when needed but no interference. Recommendations for food were excellent! Highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. The cottage was well kept and very homely. It was ideal for our family with everything we needed. The location was fantastic. Great walks for the dogs, both at the cottage and nearby (some recommended by the owner). As well as close to a number of child friendly locations and activities for our 7 year old. A large Tesco was nearby as well as some great restaurants. We found it very relaxing and enjoyed watching the garden birds, red squirrel, and local deer. The owner was very helpful, with quick responses, and all relevant information provided in advance. The only point we have to note was the limited water pressure for the shower. The owner did make us aware of this in advance of the visit. Although low pressure, it was also still sufficient, clean, and worked so we could have a shower. Thanks again to Ashley for all her support throughout and her beautiful holiday home.

Very well designed cottage making the best possible use of quite a small space - with both a shower room and bathroom , utility room as well as kitchen/living space and the patio with hot tub. Although near to the High Street with a range of takeaways and a superb butcher (Hunters) the cottage is in a very quiet street. The nearby Curate Wynd free car park was very handy and we could unload from there. Although Dawn and Darren were away Dawn was on hand to answer any queries. We had a great three day break - spending the days at the RSPB Nature Reserve in stunning weather. We ate out one night at the Balgedie Toll Tavern - highly recommended for great food and very good service.

The cottage was lovely and tranquil, and Andrew and Angie were great hosts. They left a great book with hints and tips and notes around the cottage. Coffee and biscuits were left for us, which were much appreciated, and immediately drank and scoffed upon arrival. The garden and decking area is brilliant , and our 2 dogs had a great time playing hide and seek around the tree. The hot tub was amazing, and much needed after long walks around the area. Thank you again, and we will definitely be back.

Super logement , cocooning comme nous le souhaitions! Accès à Édimbourg relativement rapide. Attention aux instructions d’entrée, car le tri sélectif en Écosse n’est pas le même que le nôtre en France .. beaucoup plus poussé ce qui est un bon point pour l’environnement . J’ai fais par réflexe comme en France ce qui m’a value à juste titre un message D’Ali . Si je devais repartir en Écosse sans hésitation je reprendrais le même logement .. le SPA avec vue c’est un bonheur!

Very much enjoyed our stay in rural Fife. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor bath every evening we were there. The cabin was cosy and the bed extremely comfortable. Complete peace and quiet meant we had a wonderful sleep every night. Thank you Monty for allowing us to enjoy a peaceful getaway at your cabin, Lorraine

Absolutely beautiful, amazing location on the beach. After walking the coastal path just sat with a gin watching the waves. Perfect!

We loved out time at Homelea Cottage and would definitely return! It was the perfect base for exploring Fife further. The cottage is decorated beautifully and is very spacious . It really felt like a home. We explored the surrounding areas, walked in Falkland, visited St Andrews and all along the East Neuk coast. We also took a train to Edinburgh. It was my first proper trip to Scotland ( aside from a work trip) and I loved it. We also managed to visit the Kelpies on our way up! Highly recommend this cottage, all communication was spot on and nothing seemed too much trouble. We dined at the Boars Head on our last day for Sunday lunch and this was a great recommendation! Lovely pub and stunning food. We will hopefully return sooner rather than later. Thanks again for a fantastic stay xx

Can’t recommend Rona and Bryan’s beautiful home No 3 Rose street enough. We had the most wonderful and relaxed weekend with our dog 🐕 Rona and Bryan met us on arrival, made us feel totally at home, giving us local recommendations and showing us around. The cottage is perfect, enclosed garden for the dog, cozy interior, spotlessly clean and the bed was so so comfortable. Rona and Bryan had already popped some bread, milk, tea, coffee, dog treats and some adult treats, such a lovely thing to do. We honestly can’t wait to return. The cottage is beautiful and well-equipped and we had a gorgeous stay there. The coastal walks are beautiful and all the locals are extremely friendly and welcoming. Steven was really communicative and responded quickly to messages. Check in and out was smooth and easy. We would absolutely recommend!

We were in Elie for 2 nights and the Cupboard was great for a short stay as we ate out both nights. Although exceptionally well equipped for such a short space it would have been difficult to cook. due to the lack of workspace. The design of the space is exceptional for the size of the space and the wood burner kept us lovely and cosy. There are 5 beds all together but it would have been a challenge having more than the 2 of us and our wee dog. We love Elie and will be back and it's very likely that we will use Short Stay St Andrews again.

The garden cottage is beautiful - lovely spacious living area which is great for spending time together. The bedrooms are also large with nice touches and cushions etc. The rooms upstairs were particularly nice. Fabulous garden area and right in the town centre. The cottage had everything you could need as regards glasses, crockery etc. There was even an air fryer. One of the best equipped airbnbs we have stayed in. Would highly recommend.

I picked the cottage for a few nights away as it looked gorgeous and the plan was to spend most of our time just chilling in the house. The property is stunning. Really beautifully decorated and has a lovely luxurious feel. The kitchen is probably the best equipped I have ever stayed in, not only in regards to the equipment but also the pantry staples, cleaning items and lovely glassware and crockery. There are a host of gorgeous books, novels and cookbooks throughout the house. The bed is DIVINE, and the bedroom so peaceful. The wood burner in the bedroom was such a treat too. Patrycja was really responsive from booking right to when we left, helpful with all questions and local recommendations. I highly recommend the cottage and would definitely return.

Lovely place in a beautiful, peaceful spot. Very spacious & well equipped. We loved the walled garden & walk to it. Great communication from hosts. We really enjoyed our stay.

A lovely family break at Eastburn Cottage. Nick was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. The kids absolutely loved seeing the chickens roaming outside and we had an added bonus of some new lambs to keep us company in the outside field. Great family accommodation, well looked after and an excellent host!

We had a fantastic stay at Fishponds cottage. The hosts were super helpful at providing information about how to find the cottage along with helpful tips about walks in the area and how to spot wildlife. There was an abundance of birds and squirrels visiting the garden. The cottage was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need for our stay. Inside, the cottage was tastefully decorated but our favourite feature was the beautiful back garden. We were blessed with great weather and it was the perfect place for having a BBQ and for an Easter egg hunt which the kids loved. A lovely, peaceful stay and we can't wait to visit again!
