Kingsbridge Estuary : locations de vacances avec accès à la plage

We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

Dawn & Richard were fantastic hosts. The accommodation was fantastic and spotless. Bed was very comfortable with great blinds to block out the light and the bathroom was lovely and clean. Couldn’t fault anything would definitely return.

This was a first class stay. The studio was spotless, comfy and well-equipped. There was a lovely extra touch of home made chocolates on arrival. The host was very helpful, friendly and unobtrusive. Recommend!

Prime location, as long as you don't mind a slight hill. Beautiful views. Nice and private. Perfect temperature. Cosy lounge and kitchen with lounge french windows with balcony overlooking a fantastic valley. Almost a sea view. One bedroom with ensuite, a bit small but the person who sleeps nearest the lounge door has access to use the other toilet and sink by the front door which we found useful. Hostess was available at all times by text and keen to make sure we enjoyed every minute, apologising for the slight noise next door whilst some building work was done to the front of the neighbours property. Very pleased that the host went that bit further leaving us milk, teabags, orange juice and milk and plentiful toilet rolls that was more than generous. This is our first experience of AirBnB and it has given us confidence to use them again. Anyone wishing to book here we would highly recommend!

My two friends and I had an amazing relaxing weekend at Susan’s place. The space was immaculate when we arrived with all amenities we needed to cook all of our meals. The view from the garden is beautiful and it’s been so peaceful to wake up with a view of the sea. The beds are really comfortable as is the sofa bed. Susan was really helpful in her instructions and very prompt to respond if we needed clarification. All in all, a 5* experience, we hope to be back soon!

We had a fantastic stay at Mat & Megan’s flat. Everything was clean and comfortable, communication was fast and clear, but the absolute stand out was the incredible views front and back.

Another great holiday at Goodrington Lodge. We've stayed numerous times in different apartments here over the last 10 years or so and we still come back every year. The location is great for us and is very dog friendly. Our 2 Jack Russell's love it. Apartment 7 is ideal for us and the dogs and was spotlessly clean on arrival. Adam is a great host, very friendly and quick to reply to messages. We will be back again for certain!

Close to the beach and a lovely pub /restaurant. The large kitchen table was ideal for our family get together. Very peaceful location we would love to return.

we highly rate this charming cottage for it's location, cleanliness & it's excellent host, Amy. the cottage is a few steps to Back Beach, it has everything we needed during our stay, & we're lucky to park near the door. restaurants, pubs, shops & the promenade are all walking distance. Teignmouth is a friendly town, & SEA-ESTA COTTAGE is the perfect place to spend our week's holiday in Devon. thank you, Amy, for hosting us, for the box of fudge, and, although we didn't forget anything, it was thoughtful of you to put the "something forgotten box" in the bedrooms. best wishes from Paul & family

The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed with plenty of parking for all 3 of our cars. Goodrington was a lovely sun trap out of the wind, we loved Cantina! The beds were so comfy and every room so light & spacious.

We spend a week at Ringmore, but could have easily stayed several weeks due to the lovely atmosphere of the cottage, the village and the attractive surrounding. House and garden are beautiful. You can feel at home instantly. The house is bright and friendly and well equipped. The beautiful surrounding invites to stray around, walk to the beach, enjoy the landscape, walk the coastal path starting from the house at Ayrmer Cove, a small beach with amazing rocks. And have dinner at the Journeys End Inn with a very nice variety of food and of course ales. There are many more things to explore: lovely villages, churches, cathedrals, ports, gardens, museums, estuarys, Dartmoor, great coast ... The host Anna was very nice and gave us lots of information. Thanks a lot for staying at this special place and experiencing a wonderful atmosphere!

We had a four night stay with our friends, there we 8 of us in total and it was absolutely perfect for us all. The living, dining, cooking space was exactly what I was hoping it would be and the weather was even good enough to have the bifold doors open which was so good to have the outside in! A really comfortable space to relax and enjoy each others company. Sophie was incredible from start to finish, she was fantastic at responding to any queries and totally kept us updated with everything we needed to know. She also was extremely flexible with our arrival and departure times so we didn't feel rushed at all- thank you Sophie! Also a fabulous little walk to Burgh Island and great beaches. Highly recommended 5*

Absolutely perfect 🥰 We have just returned home from a fabulous week at this wonderful house. It truly is home from home and fully equipped with everything you need. The views are absolutely stunning. Mark, the owner, was super helpful and we knew that he was available anytime if we needed anything (we didn't) We took my elderly parents, and our daughter. My dad has dementia and it was so lovely and peaceful and calming for him and it gave my mum some much needed relaxation time and I am so so grateful for that. Our daughter loves photography and she took beautiful photos of the amazing sunsets. All in all it was a perfect holiday in a fabulous house and a stunning location. We will definitely be returning there and I cannot recommend it highly enough

Another great stay here! This time, for a longer period of time, additional cleaning and replenishment was offered throughout. A very proactive and helpful host who obviously takes pride in their property and guests. Would highly recommend to others and consider using again in the future.

We stayed for a 2 night stay to celebrate my friends upcoming wedding. Communication with Simon & Charlie was great and they were very understanding and clear in communication. We arrived at the property following very clear instructions and we fell in love instantly! The property is decorated to perfection, perfect for those that like a modern decor. The small pub in the property elevated our stay and is a perfect ‘gimmick’, we enjoyed playing darts! The bedrooms were spacious, clean and with all the amenities needed! Again, perfectly decorated! The en-suites and bathrooms were pristine clean and the complimentary toiletries were a nice touch. We were greeting with a small welcome box of some biscuits (perfect with a cup of tea!), crisps and a bottle of Prosecco which we all enjoyed! We enjoyed meals at two of the recommended restaurants too, the food was delicious! We are already planning our next get away! It was perfect! Thank you so much both!

Matthew was a fantastic host, extremely prompt with his reply clear instructions and plenty of recommendations. the apartment was better than the pictures. beautifully decorated, with so much space. Location is in the heart of the town so perfect for a seaseaside break in a Teignmouth. We will definitely be booking again!

The flat was very spacious & beautifully designed. It had everything we needed & was very close to the sea. All the furniture was really comfortable and Karen was a brilliant host

Throughly enjoyed our stay at Jenny's flat and look forward to returning next year!

It's true to say that Teignmouth probably isn't everyone's perfect Devon base but with the railway station, the town centre, the beach and EV chargers all within easy walking distance oh and the best real ale pub in town being the closest pub to the flat this place had everything we needed and that's without use of the garden which didn't quite get the sun when we were 'home' - April though! We were lucky to have sunshine and shorts weather throughout !! The flat was lovely and clean, the kitchen had absolutely EVERYTHING we needed and Luke was constantly on the end of an email during our stay initially with tips for our stay then with help when we needed it. I can imagine parking could be a nightmare in summer, the local streets are narrow and were busy with parked cars although I suspect it's actually quite a 'local' residential area so may be little different to when we stayed, that said there were two car parks close to the flat one of which looked permanently empty.

Perfect place to stay with my elderly parents for some house hunting in Seaton. Walkable to Local shops and restaurants, disabled parking almost right outside with no time limit. Helen also organised a parking permit for the local handy parking which I used too. The living space was open plan and very comfortable. Helen provided some milk and other extras which was kind and super useful. The bedrooms were pretty and nicely done and there was a lovely hot shower. Helen was super helpful.

Stayed here over the New Year period and it was perfect. Great location, the sea view was spectacular and the log burner was a great addition given the cold weather. Local pubs were so friendly and food was great. Will definitely return, thank you.

We had a lovely long weekend (4 night) stay (family of 4) at the apartment. We chose this apartment as it's in a good location (great views, near to the town and the harbour (approx. 15 min walk with young children), and it looked well maintained, very clean, etc). The photos did it justice, and was as expected. Martin was there to greet us on arrival, and had laid out some beach toys for the children. There was milk, tea, coffee, and a bottle of Prosecco in the apartment, which was a nice touch. There were some printed out maps of local places (beaches etc.) to visit, in the apartment, which Martin talked us through. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in!! If we stay in Torquay again, we would happily stay at this apartment again.
