My family and I had an incredible stay at Kate's property on Kangaroo Island. The incredible surroundings on the lagoon, with free room to roam with the kangaroos, combined with the luxury and comfort of the property made for a perfect vacation. We can't wait to return.

Bright and spacious accommodation very conveniently located for Kingscote where there is a good selection of shops and restaurants. Christine and her team could not have been more helpful with oodles of recommendations and suggestions for our stay. Recommend.

Great location with a fantastic view. Could do with a few upgrades but overall I would have no issues coming back again. Both host excellent service and always answered my questions. The view is the best on the island in my opinion.

Our family of 4 (1 year old and 4 year old kids ) had an incredible 7 night stay at Becky’s . The location was absolutely Perfect for us. Felt very secluded and we even had a koala in the tree in our backyard . We loved our mornings at the beach exploration rock pools, grabbing fresh seafood from the Rockpool cafe which is a 2 minute walk away and afternoon bbq’s and wine on the deck . There are wineries 40 minutes away and it’s really well connected to get to all the different parts of the island you may want to see . The house is well equipped with everything clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

A great place to stay on KI if you're after somewhere with that remote feeling but still close enough to the main towns to get supplies. Good access to the main roads running through the Island as well so was easy to get around for day trips. The views across the lagoon were fantastic and saw an abundance of wildlife around the house (can definitely recommend filling up the bird baths).

'The Nest' is a beautiful place to stay, not only for the stunning views but the amenities and finishes of the place were absolutely gorgeous and luxurious. We felt comfortable immediately. It is a perfect base for a few days of exploring KI while providing the perfect amount of relaxation after some exploring (or even just for a whole day of rest). We'd love to come back in the winter sometime to rug up near the fire with a good coffee from the coffee machine while enjoying more of the view.

The best Airbnb so far!! What a view. A must to book - don’t hesitate. Every morning my daughter and I would watch the family of Blue Wrens forage the garden and count how many frogs we could find in the pond. A place to reconnect with nature and switch off. We didn’t feel the need to leave once our entire stay.

We had an absolutely amazing 3 night stay at Ecopia Retreat. The retreat was spotless and beautiful, and Yael provided some local goodies which was a wonderful surprise. The location is perfect if you want a peaceful, private retreat surrounded by wildlife, while still being just a short drive to local attractions. We took several walks on the property and spotted 2 koalas, 2 echidnas, and a number of kangaroos and birds. It was unexpectedly hot (97 degrees Fahrenheit!) on one of the days we were visiting- we went on a dolphin snorkel with KI Marine adventures that morning (incredible!) and when we returned to Ecopia mid afternoon, we were so pleasantly surprised at how cool it had stayed inside, due to the fantastic insulation. With the fans on we stayed very comfortable. Yael was very friendly and quick to respond when we had questions about walks, etc. If we could tele-transport ourselves there, we would come back over and over ☺️. Just book it!

We stayed here three nights and loved it. The outdoor areas, surroundings and wildlife were truly special. It was amazing to have penguins in the literal backyard and a great beach a couple of minutes' walk away that was effectively a private beach as there was never anyone there, and one night we had a possum walk right up to the windows and look in at us. Indoors it was excellent too - very clean, plenty of space for a couple as there were two bedrooms, and well-equipped in every way including in the kitchen (we found it a good idea to stock up on groceries from Kingscote for cooking dinner). Definitely recommended!
