We had a brilliant stay at Nicola’s house. It is beautifully done and very clean. Easy to find and get in with the lockbox. Amazing location for Whitstable high street and the beach. Would highly recommend!

If you’re reading this review and considering making a reservation, stop scrolling, don’t bother looking at other properties and just book Painters Forstal. The house has been there for 478 years at time of writing this and on our trip here we’ve created more life long family memories that add to this incredible historic and amazing home. I cannot recommend Sophie's cottage highly enough. It's in a perfect location for everything you may need, the cottage is beautiful and has every amenity supplied. It was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. We had a wonderful stay

The space felt welcoming from the moment we walked in, and the location was perfect for everything we wanted to explore. My friends and I had a wonderful time at Katrina's place. She was very responsive from booking and flexible with our check in when we were running a little late. The house was pristine and we really appreciated the little touches. Would definitely recommend and book again!

Lovely quaint house in the heart of Sandwich. The house is really well kept, with absolutely everything we needed. Location is perfect close to lots of restaurants. Claire was very responsive and super clear about everything. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in south-east Kent.

We had an absolutely wonderful week in this great property- the direct access to the beach is very special - and the house is a real home, furnished for comfortable living rather than rental. Lots of gorgeous walks near by - great golf course up the road, handy EV charging point 2 mins walk away, and Ashford designer shopping outlet 30 mins drive away.

We stayed at the house with four adults and five children. We found the house to be exactly what we needed. There was plenty of cutlery and crockery, pots and dishes, towels and toilet paper available. The house was clean and we felt comfortable straight away. It was very well heated. The small children enjoyed playing with the Duplo and Schleich figurines.

Fantastic visit! Great apartment! Brilliant Host! Everything was as described and my family and I had a fantastic weekend. The beach was right on our doorstep and we could not have asked for more. We will be back!

Very charming flat in the city centre of Rye. Perfect location, close to all the little cafes, shops, pubs… We loved our stay and we will definetly come back again! Thanks for hosting us!

Wonderful stay, amazing location and comfy base for exploring Margate. This was our first little holiday with our 4 month old and we couldn’t have picked a better spot location wise, the flat itself was well furnished and comfortable, and importantly the bedroom had space for our travel cot. All I would add is be prepared to have to park in the public car park opposite as the on street parking wasn’t possible when arrived! Hosts responded quickly and patiently to any issues - which turned out to not be issues at all!

The apartment was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. It felt luxurious and we would definitely stay again!! Anji was great and responded promptly if we needed anything. We had the best time!

Antony’s place is a beautifully restored suite of rooms in a Georgian townhouse. Homely, spacious, comfortable, quiet. Welcome instructions were all clear and helpful. Antony was a kind and helpful host. Perfect place.

The flat was full of light in the mornings, and directly above the wonderful Windy Corner cafe, so easy access to breakfast! The location was great, quiet but convenient for the main high street. Spacious and well maintained. The kitchen diner was really comfortable for family times and meals. Rooms were good sizes and had very comfortable beds. The host was very responsive to questions and all information shared was clear making our time very relaxing. I hope we can return again very soon x

We spent a lovely Christmas here and had everything we could possibly need. The location is perfect, endless sea views and plenty of places to walk to with the dogs. The apartments are well stocked with everything needed to cook a beautiful Christmas dinner and Anthony even provided us with lovely Christmas trees. It felt like a home away from home. Anthony kindly let us check-in early and check-out late which helped us truly relax. This was our second time staying and won’t be our last!

We had a great Christmas. The house is a much bigger then the photos. Plenty of space for a large family and more then enough hot water for all of us!! The house is very clean, enough pots, pans plates etc. Lovely setting, loved the little church, which is open for visiters only, seeped in history.

Le logement est très agréable on a l’impression d’arriver dans une maison de famille (jouets, livres…. à disposition). La maison est très bien située, on abandonne la voiture car tout peut se faire à pieds. Le parking dans la maison est un plus très appréciable. Le seul bémol, s’il en faut un, pour les amateurs de café que nous sommes c’est le percolateur. 😉 Nous recommandons sans aucun problème cette belle location.

we had a great stay at this property, enjoyed walks on the beach with our dogs, great location with Rye and Hythe within 30 minutes drive, both with great history. karting at Lydd and we also ventured through the dunes at GreatStone onto a beautiful sandy beach. Camber sands is only 15 minutes away too. the property itself was wonderful with 3 ghod size bedrooms, 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms. perfect for our grown up family, with partners and dogs. it was booked with a chilled and relaxing weekend in mind, it met this perfectly

A nice spacious house which is great for big family and kids, nice views from the living room over the wide fields and at walking distance from the centre and beach, great location. House has a lot of amenities and plenty of space, good beds also. Would definitely recommend and consider a revisit.
