We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! It was the perfect family getaway. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, making it feel like a true home away from home. Our host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, always quick to respond and ensure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The location offered so much to do — from outdoor activities and so many games there was never a dull moment. Whether we were enjoying the ice rink or hot tub or simply enjoying the cozy space, there was always something to keep everyone entertained. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, fun-filled family retreat!

cabin was nicely tucked away surrounded by nature. All the amenities were top notch and a joy to use. A very home-y vibe and nicely decorated. The photobook covering the construction of the home was a nice touch. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable. Wood stove kept us toasty and had no problems keeping the home warm. Everything about the stay gets 5 stars. Would stay again!

I have experienced a few airbnbs to date and must say that I have yet to experience anything unpleasant. That's because of the incredible integrity of hostesses like Charlotte, overseeing places like this sweet gem: true to its advertisement, and very well laid out instructions which kept us from having to inquire about anything. We came to create and we came to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. My husband and I are calling this our "Oasis-Escapis" and plan to bring more monumental celebrations and creative endeavours here. This was such a phenomenal place to stay. The access to the river was lovely, and the entire house had so many great touches and details. The kitchen is very well stocked, beds and pillows so so comfortable. Location was fantastic and close to everything you need. I will definitely be back to stay here again !

This cottage is gorgeous - very clean and organized and has spectacular views. It is very private, overlooking the lake. We stayed there in November, but would definitely be coming back in the summer too. The host, Desi, was very kind and helpful. She offered us early check in, and provided us with step by step instructions and house rules, which were clear and easy to follow. The cottage itself is big, and with a hot tub and a pool table, was very reasonably priced for all it offers!

Really lovely stay. Cozy and very clean and comfortable. Really well lit with a pretty property and very comfortable beds and couches. Great kitchen for cooking. Cathy was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. A really great experience all around!

We had an amazing stay at the lazy maple cozy lakefront cabin! The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway with friends. The cabin was well-equipped with everything we needed—from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable beds. The lake access was a highlight, with kayaks and paddleboards available for us and the kids to enjoy. The kids had a blast on the paddleboards while we took in the serene views from the dock. The peaceful surroundings and thoughtful amenities made it the perfect spot to unwind. We can’t wait to come back!

My family of 4 spent a wonderful weekend at the cabin with our dogs. The cabin was perfect for a relaxing getaway- clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed some great walks through the woods. The views from the huge windows throughout the cabin are gorgeous. After lots of outdoor time during the day, we spent cozy evenings making dinner and enjoying a fire in the living room. We played some of the games Timothy has in the cabin too! Timothy was very responsive and a great host. We hope to go back one day!

Our stay was amazing! We went in the beginning of October and there was hardly anyone there. The environment was absolutely stunning, the fall rhapsody was in full effect. There also was a tone of stuff to do, like a dog park, hiking, canoeing, badminton, etc. the cabin itself was small but very cozy. Just remember to bring warm clothes and bedding if you go in the fall because there is just a small heater. We were very comfortable though. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

Beautiful cottage right on the water. Unit was clean and well stocked. Amazing fishing right off the dock. Will definitely look at coming back again.

We stayed at the Skoot Cabin from Dec 26-30 with our dog and friend from New York. Everyone had an easy time getting to the place and getting in. Once inside, it was really hard to want to leave such a cozy space in the winter. The wood burning stove was an absolute highlight and kept us warm throughout the stay. The place itself had everything we needed and the area around the cabin was perfect for our dog to explore and run around. Kate was super helpful and responsive and provided us with all the info on the place. Can’t say enough good things about this cabin and location and our friend was very impressed with this Canadian experience! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Stayed here for a month over winter. Was a great escape from city life. Asha was super responsive and helpful - the oven wasn’t working properly upon arrival and she promptly arranged repair. There were games and activities on site, wifi connection was reliable, and the driveway was plowed after every snow.

Great cabin with a beautiful lake view. Well stocked, quiet, peaceful, and amazing swimming in clean clear water. 100% recommend and definitely would visit again.

My Fiancé and I stayed there just at the tail end of winter, and we loved it. The Host offers everything you may need to make your stay more comfortable ( paper towels, cleaning supplies, cooking utensils, Cookware, Bedding). Just don’t forget to bring your own water. They also keep propane there for the bbq, it was nice not having to haul my own tank with me. There is heating, and air conditioning if you are staying in the warmer months, as well as a clean as can be outhouse. Honestly it’s just a perfect escape from city life without having to drive too far from the GTA. We saw lots of deer and other animals, we enjoyed pure silence by the fire, and it was a dark beautiful sky in the evening. We will be back, thanks for having us Jim.

This was our 3rd year vacationing at this location. Feels like an extension of home

Courtney was extremely responsive and her way of communicating made it very clear that she wanted us to have a great time at her location. She had taken some extra steps for us to feel right at home and comfortable when we arrived. She had lighted up the woodfired fireplace in the kitchen for us and had also provided us with extra wood to burn at the open air fire pit later at night. The decor of the place is quite unique with tons of antique items spread around the property. Even though the weather was cloudy and wet when we visited, the time we spent at the location was extremely memorable.

I can’t say enough about Virginia and her amazing retreat. We were looking for a simple halfway stop on our way home from seeing family in the US and found this amazing space run by wonderful people. It was a treasure and we will be back. This beautiful family is forging a new way of living and travel that is sustainable and gives me hope. She is a great host if you have children and are interested in forest school and learning about local history and geography. My son was free to run and hear nothing but nature sounds and then we took the ferry everyday into Kingston to explore Canadian history and culture and eat amazing food. We went to the Wolfe Island hotel to eat local wonderful food and visited the stunning isolated beach every night at sunset. Wolfe Island is a place like no other. I had such a great connection with the host and her commitment to the earth and the future. Thank you Virginia!

Amanda and Eric were excellent hosts. The Dog House on Dog Lake was just as described. Amanda and Eric were very friendly hosts. They greeted us upon arrival and then totally respected our privacy. We enjoyed the cottage and all the amenities. The Dog House was very clean and well stocked with useful items. We were 25 min. from Kingston which allowed us to enjoy a show at The Grand Theatre and a boat tour of The Thousand Islands. This is a great place to stay. We highly recommend it. The cottage exceeded all expectations. Our families loved it here. There were 3 adults and 4 kids, age range from 6-13. There were activities for all ages, from board games to movies, to water activities. The water was clean and great for swimming and fishing. It was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the sun set too. The cottage was so clean and spacious and had everything that we needed and more then was expected. We felt right at home. Faby was a great host and very quick to respond with any questions. Looking forward to booking again next year!

Merci Alexia, environnement conviviale, familial, esprit de vie de camping rendait l’expérience agréable, embarcations, accès au quai et à la plage, superbe vue sur le Lac Ontario, nous avons tout aimé. Il s’agit de petites cabines surélevées, sans sous-sol. Une douche extérieure propre et bien aménagé. Le plaisir de prendre une douche extérieur au soleil avec l’intimité voulue. On s’est senti en vacances et vraiment très bien!

Great area, beautiful lake. Chris' cottages themselves were clean newly renovated and in great working order. Laundry facilities in the cottages and access to sharbot lake. L9ved it will definitely be back

The absolute cutest little Airbnb I have ever been to. If you are looking for a reset, relax and rest this is the ideal place. Christine is a great host. She was super responsive and helpful. The personal touches in the cabin are so welcoming. Real flowers beside my bed, candies on the kitchen table and yummy cookies in a jar in the kitchen with the recipe to boot! The trails outside are wonderful to walk and the bird feeders were buzzing with hungry customers. I don't think you'll be disappointed. I can't wait to go back.
