This place is stunning! Beautifully furnished with nearly everything you could think of to make your stay perfect. Seating/lounge areas were warm and welcoming and the dining table a treat to use. The kitchen had all the utensils you’d need, with more than enough crockery and two dishwashers! The whole place was spotless, couldn’t recommend highly enough. Just wonderful for our family get-together.

The house has everything you could ever need for you’re stay plenty of space for everyone and the terrace and garden were amazing to sit out in the sun and the fully enclosed garden gives you peace of mind when taking dogs and kids. Would definitely recommend!!

It was a wonderful place to stay with great scenic views and a peaceful atmosphere . The hosts Alexandra and David were such great people which made the stay even more pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.

Myself, husband and adult family had a wonderful time at Gilmore House. It was fabulous from beginning to end! The facilities are high end, the house is gorgeous and all the extra little touches really made a difference. The whole vibe of the house was perfect. I brought lots of things I thought may not have been included and did not need any of them. Louise has thought of everything and she was also very informative regarding restaurants, taxis etc. The welcome pack has everything you need to know, there was also a lovely welcome basket when we arrived. My only complaint is I am not staying there again this weekend or every other weekend! We will definitely be back!! Thanks for having us!!

We had a great New Year 2025 in Shiel House! The treasure hunt was an added bonus and a great activity for all ages - highly recommend doing this! Thank you for a lovely stay 😊

What a fabulous place. It’s a really grand, wonderfully located property with lovely views and a great garden. Jill’s communication was first-rate and we really appreciated the really well-stocked kitchen. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Duncan's place in Falkland. The house is beautiful and very well kept. The rooms are large and lots of space for several famillies. The living room in particular is an amazing room to relax in and there is plenty of space in the kitchen for large meals. The garden is large and has things to do for children, though a little cold in November! The village is walkable from the house and lots of nice woodland (Maspie Den) and hill (Lomonds) walking to be done. The are a couple of nice pubs and cafes within walking distance, albeit with a short walk on a verge alongside the main road. Duncan was very communicative and helpful in letting us know check in procedures prior to arrival and discussing check out. There was a reasonable amount of cleaning for us to do, but this is fairly stated in the advert and in retrospect we should have taken Duncan up on his offer of a cleaner! Incredibly affordable for such a nice house and we would love to stay again soon!

This was a great place to stay. Perfect for a get together of small group. Was clean and well maintained. We faced some issue with the heating but host responded on time and tried to fix it. Apart from this we really enjoyed the stay. Thank you Robert.

Such a beautiful house set in stunning surroundings! The views are breathtaking from every angle. Lovely having an enclosed garden and the trampoline and swing. The house is beautiful so much space. Extremely comfortable beds, great shower and so well equipped. And the games room was great fun! The welcome pack was such a lovely touch. I highly recommend this home, great places to go to nearby and just perfect location.

House was very spacious and comfortable. It was a pity that the outside was so neglected, weeds everywhere, however it was very peaceful and there were lovely walks in the surrounding woods.

We had a lovely few days with our family - including 6 grandchildren and 2 dogs! . The house is in a lovely location and the layout worked well with plenty for the children to do playing pool and table football. well the bedroom were spacious all with en-suites and there is plenty to do in the area. A lovely stay. Thank you.

Friendly, helpful hosts who went out of their way to provide all the information we needed for our stay. Spacious property for our family get-together and lots of books and toys to occupy two toddler granddaughters.

Grampian Cottage is an ideal base for a family stay in Braemar. We were a party of 5 adults and a baby and stayed for 3 nights. The house is spacious, very well equipped and cosy. The Aga in the kitchen is a real bonus, it makes the kitchen lovely and warm and is easy to use if you follow the instructions provided by the owners. We were blessed with wonderful sunny Spring weather for our stay; the conservatory was the perfect place to relax in the sunshine. The house was easy to find using the instructions provided. Communication with Jenny and Fergus was excellent. They were very quick to answer our messages. In short, a perfect weekend in the Highlands staying in a lovely family home!

The farmhouse is very spacious yet cosy too. It was a little difficult to find in the dark but Sophie guided us on the phone. The young adults in our family would have appreciated better WiFi connectivity than in just a few rooms but other than that we had a really enjoyable stay, close to our relatives in Forfar. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely old house, perfect place for extended family group to stay. The toys and the pool were loved by the children. Great for local rural walks and feels very much in the countryside despite being close to local towns.
