We loved our stay at Lyn and Bobby's cottage. Whilst being spacious, it was cosy and comfortable with everything that we could have needed... and more, as there was a wonderful welcome package waiting for us when we arrived. A lovely surprise! The property was very easy to find - just one road back from the main street in Kirkcudbright - and yet it was in a very quiet road. The cottage's location ensures that it's easy to walk to the centre of Kirkcudbright and to enjoy all it has to offer. There are restaurants, take aways and a 'Tesco's' supermarket within walking distance as well. We parked on the road just outside the property, which was made unloading and loading easy. Lyn was a very proactive host, contacting us before and during our stay to ensure that everything was clear and that we were happy. We have only positive recommendations to offer and look forward to our next stay!

Gorgeous stay at The old School house. The house had everything we needed for a girls weekend to chill. The place was very clean and Elizabeth was very responsive to any queries or needs we had. Thank you so much, would love to come back.

This is a second time staying at Karen's place and it was just as good as we remembered! great local, great space and the perfect base for our fishing trip. Karen is an amazing host with great communication! The little touches left by her (bread, butter, milk, biscuits etc) prove that she goes above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Thanks again Karen, we will definitely be back!

What can I say…a home from home. What a beautiful unique space, loved the open plan kitchen, dining, living, and had some very cosy evenings in front of the fire! Location was perfect for us, can’t wait to return!

Stayed 2nd-5th of January as a lovely new year break before being back at work. Caroline’s home has some great features including a lovely hot tub, luxury jacuzzi bath, well equipped kitchen and comfy sofas plus a downstairs shower room ideal for use before the hot hub. Definitely a place I’d recommend as Caroline greeted us and showed us around so we were comfortable with everything her home had to offer, also very informative of good local restaurants and places to visit. Drivable to some beautiful scenic areas to the west coast. Thank you Caroline

Exceptional! The accommodation was spacious, quirky in a good way, surprisingly well equipped, and no expense spared. Our host Ivan was extremely helpful and a pleasure to talk to. We plan to return!

Great little spot by the harbour. Clean, comfortable, and exactly as expected. And as always, Lauren has been an amazing host that I would highly recommend.

Rachel and michael were both incredible hosts. They communicated very well and everything was perfect on arrival with drinks and sweet treats as an extra suprise. The place was idyllic and cosy. We loved staying there! Rachel and michael were also so supportive, generous and understanding when we had an unfortunate road accident the day befofe checkout where they kindly offered us to stay an extra night if need be. Overall it was the perfect place to stay to experience the beauty of the lake district and to celebrate our recent engagement 🥰 would highly recommend to anyone!

A fantastic place to stay, a real home from home with everything we needed for our holiday. Clean, tidy and very well equipped and just a short drive to the quieter western lakes and the coast. Ray met us in person and was very friendly, informative and helpful. An ideal base from which to explore the lakes and fellsides, and a comfortable place to recover and relax. Many thanks 👍

Excellent location for our golf trip to Turnberry . Only a 2 minute drive away. Had everything we needed and plenty of space

wow what a beautiful place! I would honestly say it exceeded our expectations. The site is so peaceful and quiet and the view is just stunning. On the drive in just before we arrived at the site we saw all the lovely animals in the fields including some little lambs which my wee girl was so excited about! The 'cabin' itself was just stunning. So modern and cosy and had been heated for us arriving which was lovely. The hot tub is ready to be used and there's a fire pit also with the option of a grill for the top so it can be used as a barbecue. We drove 2 hours to get here which is the furthest we have traveled for this kind of stay and wouldn't hesitate in returning! The closest supermarket is around a 15/20 minute drive and in the same town there is some takeaway places however we enjoyed using the cooking facilities! 10/10 would highly recommend xx

We left White Scaur today. Our stay at Adrian and Stephania's was absolutely amazing. It is truly a home from home. They are fantastic hosts, they communicate very quickly, they are a lovely friendly couple and 100% deserve Superhost status with the hard work they have put in to make The Annex such a desirable place to stay. Their attention to detail is second to none. There is everything you could wish for, the soft furnishings, the mattress, pillows and towels are of superb quality. The whole apartment is completely spotless and smells amazing. The garden is lovely, Adrian and Stephania have been working hard to make it into peaceful haven for rest and relaxation. They provided us with some great information regarding the surrounding area and places to visit. We sat out on the balcony at night and listened to the owls hooting and looked at the stars. Many thanks for the bottle of wine on arrival and croissants for Sunday breakfast.Superb hosts. Karen & Gareth.

lovely, clean flat with everything you need. host had great communication, very helpful. the hot tub is huge! brilliant for the price. the only thing I would say is that you are very aware of the level of noise you make when in hot tub considering how residential the surroundings are, but it wasn't a negative in any way for us. it is a four in a block flat, and we heard nothing at all from neighbours. it's very handy for local shops, can easily get food deliveries. all round a great weekend.

James was very attentive and friendly. When we had a problem he arrived within minutes. The flat was spacious and had recently been modernised with new kitchen and bathroom. We chose this accommodation as we were at the Jazz Festival and were only a few minutes away from the venues and the town centre. Have no reservations in recommending this accommodation

Cosy cottage with lots of character, in central location. Easy access to shops and sites. Could unload outside cottage, and then go to nearby on street parking. Booked cottage for overnight stay for the Taste of the Sea Festival. Exceeded all expectations when discovered that free breakfast was included at nearby cafe.

Lovely and helpful host, we had car trouble and she was willing to let us move the date free of charge. Luckily we got sorted. Cosy little apartment, a little cold at times but it is February but lovely once it warmed up. I would suggest bringing slippers. Very clean and well kitted with everything you need. Great stay, perfect location to beautiful hikes x

Great little apartment. Pristine. We arrived a little early and expected to explore the town, but Philip was happy for us to check in and showed us how everything worked. Very comfortable. Near amenities. Lovely break 👍
