Kirkwall : locations de vacances avec salon de jardin

Very lovely and cozy little hut close to the sea and many happy animals! Karina and Jo were very friendly and welcoming! The apartment was surprisingly warm and spotless!

Beautiful home and Rachael was a great host (hands off but very responsive-just what I like). The location cannot be beat. We had a car but chose to taxi most places. Even our taxi drivers were admiring the location. The hot tub was AMAZING. We got stuck on the island an extra day due to weather conditions impacting ferry crossings. Rachael was able to accommodate an extra nights stay. Although you feel very remote, there are 3 grocery stores within 10 minutes and you have easy access to all of Kirkwall. Favorite part was the neighbor sheep….waking up and looking out to see all the sheep while you get ready was so fun!

Barbara was a fantastic host and made us feel right at home. She has plenty of insight on how best to find your way around and lent us plenty of books/attraction information during our stay. Ingleside surely is a great place for 1-2 folks to spend time in Orkney with great access to public transport and shops. Would love to stay with her again in the future!

Only issue we had was, that we didn’t stay long enough!! We will be returning and staying for much longer!! The cabin was warm, clean, had everything we needed, the bed was comfy, hot tub was nice and hot! View was outstanding! We also loved how private it was. One of our favourite places we have stopped this year!

A perfect getaway! The Annex was well equipped with everything listed and surroundings were stunning. Stays very warm even in the winter and there was plenty of wood to have the fireplace going as well

Denise and Stephen’s cottage is a real gem and we would definitely book again. Everything was squeaky clean, well appointed and comfortable. Denise gave lots of recommendations and just wish we had more time to investigate. Thank you both very much.

We had a wonderful stay at Deborah’s place! 🥰 The house is spacious, cozy & feels just like home. The view from the property is absolutely stunning & we loved watching the sheep nearby. Deborah was an incredibly kind & welcoming host. She greeted us personally, showed us around and explained everything. She even prepared some snacks and breakfast items for us. Her family is very friendly & it was a pleasure meeting them. The house has a beautiful fireplace that you can light yourself. The kitchen is large & well-equipped with everything you need & there’s also a washing machine available, which was very convenient. The shower had great water pressure & overall, the home was clean, warm, and very comfortable. Before we left, Deborah & her husband gave us some great tips & recommendations for the next part of our journey, which was super helpful. We would absolutely stay here again & highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and relaxing stay in a beautiful location! 😊🌸

I didn't think it was possible, but this holiday home is even better in real life than the photos. Beautifully decorated, with homely touches so it doesn't feel cold like some holiday rentals. Everything was very clean and lots of modern touches ( like a great coffee machine, ice dispenser from the freezer and obviously the amazing hot tub). The views are fantastic, with a panoramic view of the amazing landscape. Kathleen was lovely to deal with and helped with a few restaurant recommendations. Would highly recommend!
