John is a thoughtful and a good host. He responded to our questions very quickly. His home is beautiful, comfortable (excellent bed mattress and floor mattresses!), and we especially love that there is a living area that’s separated from the sleeping/bathing area, which allows us to enjoy time when our baby is asleep. The kitchen is fully equipped. It’s also very helpful that the house is located just a 5-min drive from a big Aeon mall.

古民家を改修されており，非常に清潔でおしゃれでした。 近接した家もないのでのびのびと過ごすことができました。

The apartment is spacious and equipped with a wide range of amenities. The view is scenic with outdoor pool and indoor onsen. Dyson hair dryer helped us to save time for drying hair. The hosts were so sweet that they prepared free welcome drinks for us. I recommend this place especially to those with children!!!! Look forward to visiting this place again.

駐車場が広くて助かりました。 季節的に寒さはありますが、エアコンやヒーター、ベット下の暖かい毛布など配慮頂きありがたかったです。

매번 일본 놀러갈때마다 호텔을 이용하였는데 이번에는 에어비엔비를 이용해 봤습니다. 가격은 호텔보다 저렴하면서 크기도 크고 건물 독채로 쓸수있어서 너무 좋았습니다. 다음에도 기타큐슈를 방문하게되면 꼭 다시 오겠습니다. 2층 독채이고, 1층은 주방 및 6인식탁, 2층에는 6인이 묵을수있는 매트&침대가 있습니다. 너무 추천드립니다.

Definitely need a car to get here. I ended up losing my international driving permit before we arrived to Fukuoka therefore, we ended up taking ubers to and from Shimoyamato Station. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Furniture was lacking as the living had crazy 180 views but only have two small couches. Bathroom and beds were very clean and very soft.

Even better than expected! The space is immaculate, gorgeous, and spacious. Steps from the beach and 2 blocks from the subway station. Not much around in terms of cafes, restaurants, and stores, but one or two stops away on the subway has plenty.

很好的日式民居住宿体验，房东小妹妹很热情，虽然下着雨也出来迎接我们，非常感谢，当晚介绍的回转寿司性价比很高，好吃不贵。房间很大，院子也很大，很有百年日式民居的味道，房间的装饰也是能提现出房主人的精心布置，非常喜欢装饰的盔甲和和服。厨房更是值得称赞，厨具非常齐全，咖啡机烤箱瓦斯炉应有尽有，日式厨具也非常精致，萩烧的茶具，也透露出主人的用心。女士用的化妆卸妆用品也准备好，处处有惊喜。温泉房的水非常热，水质很好。取暖是煤气取暖器，温度提升很快。可能是老房子的缘故，卫生间只有一个，里面虽然有两个单独的坐便器，但如果住的人多可能不太方便。总的来说已经很不错了，是一个很值得推荐的民宿！

5인 가족이 숙박할 곳을 찾다가 우연히 마사상의 숙소를 방문했는데 너무나도 만족스러웠습니다. 한국어도 유창하셔서 의사소통도 문제 없이 가능했고, 마사상이 현지에서 음식점 예약을 도와주셔서 인생 맛집 야끼니꾸도 먹고왔어요..ㅠㅠㅠ 부모님 모시고 간 여행이었는데 마사상 덕분에 부모님께서 너무나도 좋아하셨습니다! 마사상이 공항까지 픽업도 도와주시고, 근처 관광지도 들러 사진도 찍어주시고 너무나도 행복한 경험이었어요. 후쿠오카에서 제일 재밌었던게 뭐냐고 묻는다면 마사상과 함께 대화하며 맛있는 라멘과 프렌치토스트를 먹었던거라고 대답할 수 있을정도예요. 물론 숙소가 넓은만큼 하카타역 도보 20분, 텐진 30분 정도로 거리가 매우 가깝지는 않지만 5인 가족이 1인 1방을 쓸 수 있다는 것 만으로도 너무 만족스럽습니다. 주방과 식사공간이 2층에 마련되어있고, 3층에 침실이있는데 공간이 분리되어서 너무나도 좋았어요. 돼지코 즉 변압기도 여러개가 준비되어있고 샴푸,린스,바디워시,폼클렌징, 치약,드라이기, 고데기 등 필요한게 다 있습니다! 2층 부엌에는 tv와 닌텐도 위도 있습니다. 침대에는 usb포트가 있어서 변압기 없어도 usb선으로 충전이 가능해요. 마사상과 한국어로 편하게 소통할 수 있다는게 가장 큰 장점인거같아요.한국인에게 최적화로 맞춤된 장소입니다. 저희 부모님께서 너무나도 좋아하셨어서 마사상을 보러 또 후쿠오카에 방문하고 싶다고 하시네요!

A perfect place for road trip at Aso, very near the zoo and the scenery is so amazing. Very honest, it match the caption, a place that only can drive and stay, luckily we rent a car and enjoy this beautiful scenery. The place is warm enough to stay in winter and I would highly recommend this place. If I visit this place again, I would definitely choose this place.

This is a very special homestay in a beautiful area. Yukimi and Kazuhiro welcomed us with big smiles, and we felt their kindness and generosity throughout our stay. They offered great advice for the area and even hosted us for a wonderful dinner at their home, including trying out Kimonos. Our girls were so happy that they didn't want to leave - and frankly, neither did we. Such a wonderful stay.

Koichi and Kanayo are the most incredible hosts we've ever encountered - they treated us as family from the moment we arrived. Truly lovely and generous people. They were proactive in helping us arrange activities and meals and taxis. The house and garden are peaceful and beautiful and layered with history (which Koichi and Kanayo happily explained to us). We had an amazing kaiseki dinner at one of their recommended restaurants. And if you have the opportunity to visit for the Oniyo festival on Jan 7, you should definitely do it!

ホストは非常に親切でした！ 自家製のお米やお餅をお裾分けして下さり、年末年始とても良い過ごし方ができました！！ 車で15分くらいで防府や山口市にも行けるので、 アクセスも最高です♡ 4泊しましたが、 角島大橋や下関、門司港、錦帯橋など 山口県を満喫できました♫ 必要なものは全て揃っており、 欲しいものが欲しい場所に置いてくれています。 バスタブがないことが心配でしたが、石油ストーブもあり、 快適に過ごせました！ また遊びにきます！
