Our favourite place to stay in the area. Lota’s house feels like a mixture of an old cultural museum and a showcase of traditional wooden craftsmanship. It’s a simple house without modern technology but the beds are so comfortable and the ceiling fans keep the house nice and cool. There were pineapples and star fruit growing in the garden which we were allowed to eat. It was an amazing experience. Also it’s pet friendly and Lota’s family was so welcoming as usual. Juvy and her husband were quintessential hosts for our group of Americans and Filipinas from the mining industry. Our fully stocked beach house greeted us with freshly laid eggs and homemade bread from their farm to table homestead. The remote oceanfront location was pure paradise for quiet solitude yet close to town for easy access to groceries and restaurants. We enjoyed ongoing communication with Juvy, who accommodated our every need. She offered personal tours and made recommendations for local sightseeing and eateries. An amazing experience even for well-traveled adventurers. Five + stars!

J&G Beach house is a Gem in Cantilan. We are so lucky that we found this beautiful private spot it was perfect. The place is well taken care of, rooms are clean and comfortable. The kitchen was perfect for us and we loved the cosy living room with the sofa. Best part about this place is the beach you literally open the gates and have a beautiful pristine beach and beautiful view. Don was extremely helpful he was the perfect host. We will definitely be back thank you!
